I would recommend 50cycles wholeheartedly. They've been in the electric bike business for ages and I've purchased several bikes from them for me and my wife. The first was about 10 years ago through their website, a leap of faith perhaps, and it arrived within a couple of days. We're still using them! Then, more recently, I bought a Haibike from them as I'm a more confident cyclist now and wanted to go offroad at the weekend, some good trails around here. So I bought that one from their showroom near Leicester and it was really nice to meet them at last. Very friendly, helpful and guided me to the best bike based on my needs. I'll be out on it again later today. Great bikes, great team. If you're in the market for an electric bike, you know where to go.

Having had no previous knowledge or experience of e-bike technology, choosing a suitable model was a fairly daunting task for me initially. The cost would be a significant investment and I didn’t want to regret my purchase. My initial reservation proved to be unnecessary because the staff at 50cycles Twickenham were very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. There was no sales pressure, whatsoever. In particular i have to mention Harry (the Manager at the Twickenham store). He maintained contact with me over the period of weeks whilst I was pondering over my choice., With a large range of e-bikes in stock there were plenty to choose from and having test ridden six different bikes, my final decision came down to choosing between two of these bikes. A further test ride on each narrowed it down to one and even at that stage I wanted a further test ride to be absolutely sure. No pressure, no problem, brilliant. I was and still remain delighted with my choice and decision to buy and have no hesitation in recommending 50cycles Twickenham to anyone considering purchasing an e-bike.

I have bought their beat bike 2.2 step through after taking advice to find a bike right for me. Being a woman in my late 50's who is unfit, I was looking for a bike for both fitness and enjoyment. This bike gives me the confidence to ride good distances without hesitation due to its long power assist when required at differing levels, and leaves me feeling exercised without exhaustion. I have really enjoyed its versatility despite it being a very heavy bike. As for 50cycles as a company, they have been exceptional with their purchase and after sales service. They are friendly but also professional.

Really helpful in seeing the range of bikes and then sourcing the one i was looking for, and setting it up for my size. Am now really enjoying using it daytoday and figuring out the logistics of selling my van which is kind of where the next step is...many thanks

I took my husband along to 50 cycles as a sceptic and a die hard traditional cyclist because I wanted an electric bike and he was resisting my suggestions and wouldn't advise me but he was won over and was very impressed especially as I have been able to go out with him 3 times since l got it and beat him up the hills.I had the Kalkhoff Integral10 and once set up for me it's brillint,service was great from 50 cycles and delivery on time.I have a sneaky suspicion he may have one eventually.I would recommend a good quality Kalkhoff and 50 Cycles to anyone

We rang 50cycles in Loughborough on Tuesday 24th October and expressed an interest in the Kalkhoff Sahel compact. They explained that, due to a recent reduction in the 2017 price, the remaining stock was selling fast and they only had a few left. As we had experienced problems find any other retailers stocking compact/folding electrics bikes we decided to travel the 105 miles to their shop immediately and try one out. We arrived in their location in a small business park at 4:30pm and noted that there was plenty of room off-road for my wife to try out the demonstrator model. She liked the bike but wanted a softer saddle. This was arranged and we completed our purchase. Even though we were still there past their closing time of 5pm they did not hurry us. My wife's Sahel arrived on Friday and she has used it twice and is very happy with it. We have booked our six week free service so will be revisiting Loughborough then. We found all both members of staff very welcoming and helpful and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

We placed an order for a woman ebike paying an advanced 10% fee to book it, they told us the bicycle should take around two weeks to arrive. After 4 weeks passed, the bicycle did not arrive yet, only after 5th weeks of waiting and several communications they offer to borrow one of the demo bicycle that we had to pick it up from the shop ourselves ( we expect such a service for the inconvenience much earlier and at least a home delivery, but they denied it). Our bicycle took 60 days finally to arrive, they offer us a reflective jacket for the inconvenience, nice move but probably it was better to know the real time od dispatch from the beginning... by the way, reading other reviews it looks our is not been an isolated case!

Entered Bristol shop and was given lots of good advice on cycles by an experienced salesperson to whom I could relate to as an older person. This is unlike the very young assistants I have meet in other shops. (to whom I can not relate to!)

Very helpful staff with prompt delivery and great product

My battery has died after 2 years and 6month I drove all the way to Bristol from Cornwall and still had to pay 30 pounds just to have it tested. Still waiting for an answer while you are sending me email thanking me for my recent purchase which I'm guessing is the 30 pounds
