Biggest problem is finding 50 cycles shop in Bristol! Thereafter all very smooth and helpful, though could not find a spare 9-25mm BSFaxle nut for another bike bought for similar bike 3 years ago, hence 4 stars only., However happy to use 50 cycles again. TMR Holland

Very easy to deal with on-line. Informative website and a great deal on my Kalkhoff e-bike. I collected in person from Loughborough and the engineer was very helpful in making sure the bike was correctly set up. It's a big investment but 50cycles inspire confidence.
Following an accident on my Kalkhoff Tasman I took my bike in for repair. The staff at my local shop were helpful but I had to wait for a month while they got the spares from Germany. I use my bike every day so this was a considerable inconvenience.
Buying the bike was ok, it was a good price and the delivery process was good. Problem was when a few days later there was a fault with the bike the responce I got from someone called Jo was nothing short of insulting, I was treated as if the only possible option was that I had damaged the bike, I sent him photos and a video to show the fault, was told I was l lying and further emails have been ignored. I ended up buying the part to repair the bike, very happy with the bike but would not use this supplier again.
Loving my new toba i7. December may not be the best time to start cycle commuting but this bike makes mincemeat of the 6.5mile journey. Am going for full assist in the morning so I can arrive at work and go straight to my desk. Less assist on the way home for more of a workout. Perfect.

This is the second Pro-connect electric bike I have ordered from 50 Cycles and the third electric bike in total. The last one was in 2010 and served me very well but I thought it time to upgrade to the latest technology, quite a few things have changed since then. As always, 50 Cycles were a pleasure to deal with. I ordered via internet & phone on a Tuesday and the new bike arrived at my home in Norwich on the Thursday. Great service! Great bike too. I'm now 72 and, having dispensed with my car in 2008, bike just about everywhere in all weathers. My Jack Russell terrier even rides with me in a front dog carrier! I can't speak too highly of both Kalkhoff bikes & 50 Cycles.

Very easy and pleasant transaction bike arrived but unfortunately a minor part was missing , I contacted them and part sent out immediately with no quibble. This is the second bike I have brought from them and both have been excellent.

I ordered two Beat Ebikes online, for delivery to France. They were delivered to my complete satisfaction. The bikes are amazing and have changed my wife and my riding habits dramatically. Nothing seems beyond us! An unexpected plus is that without the motor (battery flat) the bike is as easy to ride as an ordinary, unpaired one and the extra weight is barely noticeable. The personnel at 50Cycles have been friendly and helpful at all times.

I bought my ebike after visiting the Bristol store and I was very happy with the service I received. I arranged to pick up the bike at the showroom in Loughborough headquarters- this is where I felt let down. I was expecting to be fitted for the bike but I just sat on the bike and was told that the seat would need raising ! When I got home I read up the procedure for raising the seat but that did not work. It was by chance that I flipped up a cap and discovered the adjustment screw was underneath. Overall I was disappointed with my experience.
