My fully paid "Lifetime" account disappeared and support never responded to requests.
Why is a star required to post a SCAM warning? How trustworthy is this “trust” site when it doesn’t alert the user of the high probability that they will be scammed??? They’ve clearly been running this same scam for years and no effort have been made to shut it down! I did the deep dive to see where the absurd 30+% positive review rating came from. Those years old “positive reviews” are 97% “invited” and the few others are verifiable junk “reviews”. Copy/paste, groups of reviews and responses all on the same few days, etc. Seems like TrustPilot itself is probably just an email harvesting scam. Sure looks suspect…
Scam company. My account was terminated and deleted without notice after I paid for a so-called "lifetime subscription." Spend your money elsewhere and find another cloud storage provider. This is not a trustworthy company. I am thinking about taking legal action against them.
Scammed into getting membership on the promise of a lifetime subscription. Then 5 years down the line, with a 30 days notice the so call lifetime subscription was terminated without a refund!! This company is unreliable in their business practice.

I can't access my lifetime account. I lost my files. They sent an email saying they would withdraw this type of account and gave 30 days to download my data. During this time, the service was very slow, and I simply couldn't download anything. Stay away.
i have 1+1 TB plan from zoolz i save sensitive information and data in zoolz Drive but my account removed without any problems . i send email to support but not recive any answer . not provide service from this site
I LOST EVERYTHING. I signed up for their lifetime subscription and out of nowhere before I can even back up anything they delete all my files. All my memories gone... Their customer service didn't help at all. Lesson learned, back up everything on another drive not just on a cloud service.
Disappointed with Zoolz. Got taken in by a BitsDiJour ad saying I could get a lifetime 2TB file saving subscription for $59.99. Paid my money on 31st May 2019. Now when I try to access the account, messages say that my account does not exist. Wrote the company and their excuse is that all of my backup files were deleted on or before 30th September 2020 when the "lifetime" subscription was cancelled without any explanation as to why. My requests for a refund haven't been answered so I have paid $59.99 for a service that I cannot get whose "lifetime" turned out to be 16 months. Don't ever want to see the name Zoolz again in life. Would not touch them or their products with a ten foot pole. Gave them 1 star but would have given them no stars if it was possible.
Had their 100GB plan which I just lost today because of 90 days of inactivity.
Time for class action lawsuit? Bought a "LIFETIME" 1tb account, now not honoring it due to "HOME" version not being offered. But they are willing to let me pay for 1tb business account monthly at a reduced cost??? Why would a pay more for a service I purchased with "LIFETIME" contract already??? Is this even legal??
Scam, worst company ever. I bought 3TB lifetime account. After using sometime, my account was disabled without any email. Lost account and data. If there is anyone who can write petition against them let's do it to sue them.
This is a scammer company. they offered lifetime subscription for hefty price only to cancel that after 1 year. NEVER Trust the owner and this company. They are theives. The connection is ultra slow too.
Removed my 5 years of data without any notification... I did purchase a lifetime plan? I'm surprised they didn't automatically update my account to a level that supports their current service. The company has clearly shown that they don't stick to what they promised their customer. I would not recommend this solution to anyone.
I purchased their lifetime package and I uploaded all my family photos and videos. They deleted everything and it's irretrievable. I have lost decades of pictures and videos of family and friends... lost forever.
I should have known better, after getting a lifetime backup subscription for Zoolz backup on the cheap, that there would eventually be a catch. I even bought my in-laws a lifetime subscription a year later. The catch was for the first lifetime license, that after a period of time they slowed the backup upload speed; meaning the backup to the cloud upload speed slowed to just a few megabits a second. When I asked support about it, they said I had to pay for premium support which is $9.99/year. I paid this just once and got my faster upload speed back, but I wasn't going to do it again and went to iDrive after that. Then came my in-laws problem, which was simply termination of the lifetime subscription while offering a discount on an upgraded license. So by now you've probably figured out that I've been scammed. They bait you with a lowball introductory price and then gouge you by selling upgrades to keep your backup service alive.
As other users have stated "Lifetime" means a few years at most

Paid for a lifetime account. Spent ages uploading data (slow broadband connection). Recently attempted to run a test download and couldn't log in. My account and data has been deleted and I received no warning email. Lost confidence in using the Cloud for long-term storage!
