They litterally told me that they do not possess anymore my data after 2 years on a "lifetime" plan. It was only a few gb over the full 2tb possible but yet they deleted my account and all the data and said that the warned me about it (which they didn't) before doing so. You should never use their service, if they mistreat their early adopters I can not forecast how they would treat other users.

'Lifetime' account and its content deleted after a year or two. No refund. No relenting from Customer Service. Avoid.

Scammer Deleted my files and can't give it back. Don't waste your money and important data. I was a lifetime user with 2 accounts The deleted both of my account and data. Never ever upload a single text file into their backup service.

Why does one subscribe to a backup plan? In this day and age one of the main needs is when you have to reinstall an operating system due to PC issues. That is why you feel confident that access to your data is there...NOT with Zoolz! Reloading windows 10 for example designates the PC as a NEW device so access to my data was not there...USELESS

It's a totally scam. I had bought a 2TB life time storage but it suddenly deleted my account. I urged them to get back my precious data but they couldn't offer any help.

Paid for a lifetime plan and it was deleted with ZERO advance warning and for no reason other than they only want premium subscriptions now they've used early adopters for seed money. Important stuff lost forever. Scammer zero trust company.

My "lifetime" plan was cancelled 2 years later. They never gave me any warning and deleted my data.

I have been using Zoolz for many years, including the now-discontinued lifetime subscription other reviewers have mentioned. I transitioned to the 5TB business offering when the 1TB lifetime subscription was discontinued. I have no regrets about choosing Zoolz. It reliably backs up files from my workstations and server to Amazon’s Cold Storage. I am very happy with the online interface and the simplicity of the software. On the occasions that I have had to restore files, this has been straight forward and was able to choose which version of the files to restore and where to restore them. If you need an off-site backup for your files in case of disaster, you should consider Zoolz.

Update 2021. It seems they cancelled my "lifetime" service due to "unforeseen reasons" in 2020. $75 down the drain. Went on chat support and they didn't even apologise. Review of Zoolz - completely untrustworthy way to store your data. Thank goodness I back up locally!

I purchased a lifetime 1TB of storage with them several years ago. They changed the product offering and deleted all my data and I have no recourse or offer into the future. Will never touch again. Beware that they changed a lifetime agreement and then just deleted it... Unethical.

Купил пожизненный аккаунт Zoolz на PCWorld (на них отдельный отзыв оставлю). Через 2 года закрывают аккаунт. После попытки выяснить куда делся мой аккаунт, они отвечают, что якобы они отправляли письма-предупреждения. Софт - глючный, я в 90х и то лучше писал. Бизнес-модель - отстой. Желаю вам банкротства и закрытия бизнеса, от души так.

*** SCAM ALERT *** ZOOLZ (I believe are part of Amazon) are still selling Lifetime Cloud Storage Plans Last year they CANCELLED my Lifetime Cloud BackUP plan and deleted all my data. I still have NOT received a Refund! Avoid

Like others a signed a subscription only to find out it had been cancelled without notice, I fought back however and got a refund. Suggest others do the same.

Zoolz is the worst! Scammers! Canceled their so called "Lifetime Subscription" with any refund or noticed and deleted so many people's data.

Scam company as many of the users have mentioned. My lifetime membership was deleted and replaced with slow retriever storage and request to paid some fees. i will support any legal action against this company.

Bought a Lifetime subscription to Zoolz backup (actually bought 2, 2nd for a relative). Without any warning (found in reddit thread a sample of a mail which I did not even receive) on any of the 2 accounts (with 2 different mail addresses and providers) my accounts are non-existing.
