The portable wifi overall worked great on my 1-week trip to London. I shared the device with one other friend. The battery life is very long, allowing us to enjoy our vacation without worrying about charging it mid-day. However, on some days the connection was very weak and sometimes we completely lost service.

Customer service is great. But the hot spot battery doesn’t last all day. Couldn’t use Wi-Fi when I needed in the evening.

Worked great! Battery lasted all day with continuous use.

Ordering, shipping and handling of my order was quite easy. The WiFi device did not always perform well (in Germany). The connection was sometimes slow and I had to restart the device about twice per day.

We traveled to Spain & Morocco & the device worked great. Even though we had basic connection in Morocco it worked really well. The service is well worth it.

I was use this Hot Spot in Europe. Signal was always good, Battery capacity was really strong, It was so nice !

The speed was slow sometimes and might be due to the area. The response of the customer service was awesome and Lisa had been so helpful!!!

It was a life saver to rent T-mobile unlimited to go to in-laws house in Ohio with no internet. It was bit slow but I was able to watch videos. Thank you! I’ll definitely get it again!

excellent device and used it for 8 days non stop, no issues including mountain area, raining time, and battery last very long, underestimated battery power but was surprise to see the long lasting battery...i am from singapore and our devices also cannot support so much longer battery,., we used multiple devices and all had good speed and can watch youtube and listen music and email etc...

The Wi-Fi worked well throughout my trip in Europe: England, Viena, Hungary and Germany! How convenient!! Thank you.

I rented this wifi device for a business trip overseas in Indonesia. The connection was fairly stable and the speed was ok, but the data limit is a real killer. The website claims that it can support of to 5 devices, but we only had 3 devices, and even that was too much for any business purposes. After checking morning emails and sending some replies, we were almost already at the data cap. The website does mention that data is throttled, but after 1/2 GB data usage it started to slow down, and at 1 GB is was completely useless (which usually happened by noon). After the first few days we (three people) only used the device for personal use, and even then we hardly made it through the day before hitting the data cap. We also noticed that even when no devices were connected, the data usage tracker on the device would show usage. I assume this is to connect/stay connected to the satellites, but when it has to use 100MB of the 1GB limit (10%), that's a lot taken away from the customer. We also noticed that the wifi isn't true wifi, in that it doesn't support certain file or data transfer types, such as sharing/uploading pictures. Bottom line: If you need a wifi device for light personal use for one or two people, this will get the job done. If you need anything else, look elsewhere.

Very good service. It was ready when we arrived to the hotel and ready to use!! Good connectivity during all the trip.

Easy Pick up, Easy drop off. That's one of the important factor for me.

On a recent trip to Iceland I rented a wifi unit. Was my first time renting from Vision Global and the experience was good. Coverage was good in most areas, no coverage in some areas where wifi might be expected to be nonexistent. The rental rate was worth it. The unit is heavier (significantly) and slightly larger than others I've used, but it wasn't an issue because our hikes were not more than a couple miles each way. If you are backpacking, though, the weight could be more problematic. Overall, I would seriously consider renting this unit for other trips.

I used this device for a two-week visit to my house in the Azores islands. I do not have telephone or Internet service there, and it is a quite rural location. This device provided me with my sole link to the outside world. I used it for phone calls, work and personal email, social media and the usual. It handled a lot of picture uploading with little trouble. As advertised, video and music streaming ate a huge amount of data, which meant I was throttled on my first day. Lesson learned. From that time on, I cut the streaming and had excellent service. The device failed only once. When this happened, I rebooted per the instructions. No problems after that. It's also lightweight and easy to carry in a bag or even your pocket if you need to run errands. The power supply seemed endless, and I did test it for up to eight or nine hours at a stretch. I recommend, and I will use it again.
