Easy to use. Convenient
We rented two wifi hotspots for a trip to Nova Scotia from the US. They worked without issue - although one had a dead battery when we first tried to use it upon arrival in Yarmouth, NS. Luckily it charged without issue from the car 12V plug, so the two cars we were traveling in could keep in contact during the drive to the Halifax area. The price is reasonable although in the end we did not travel apart from each other during the day as much as we thought we would and simply subscribing to a Canada roaming plan might have been about the same overall cost. Using a Canadian SIM would probably have been less expensive but for one week this seemed not worth the hassle, and not sure how that would have worked since we needed to be able to communicate immediately upon arrival in NS. We had no trouble getting a signal wherever we went between Halifax and Yarmouth - can't say anything about more remote areas.

The China Mobile hotspot in china, provided reliable coverage where ever I was during the two months. I talked with Vision about the daily data limit and offered to pay more. But they said it was not possible. The downside was the 500 mb limit each day. I teach online and could do about half of my lessons on this device, relying on hotel wifi to complete the day and at times that was iffy. I hope Vision can reconsider this service ceiling.
The mobile wifi really came in handy when there was no wifi available. Especially on the trains and in rural areas of Japan.

hotspot device doesn't have enough visibility or control over data and forced me to disable eco mode every hour hotspot unit didnt have a lan port - poor wifi capabilities
Arrived super fast (we paid for a couple extra days in fear of it not getting to us on time... wasn't necessary... it arrived 3 days before our start date). Simple to use. Plug it in. Enter the WiFi password into your device. I can't comment on speed as we did have up to 5 people on it at a time, and I'm not sure what they all were doing... but it always connected and gave me at least Facebook, browsing etc. We did have issues with connecting to the iTunes store at one point but that could have been a speed debating thing (we had the unlimited plus plan). Would use/ recommend it for sure. It's only issue is they don't ship outside of the US. Thankfully we were traveling with US folk so had it shipped there.
Didn’t receive my package in time. Can not speak to the product, but the customer service was great. Responsive and quick in providing refund after I notified I didn’t receive package before my trip.

The WiFi worked great for my trip to Italy and Greece. The battery life was great too, as it lasted all day. I will continue to use this company for all of my future abroad travels!
Great, but it would be convenient if it would reset overnight depending what country you are in and not just at Japan's timing. So each country has it's own reset time at night.

I rented 2 devises since we were a party of 7 traveling to the Dominican Republic, thinking that it was going to be better, so all would not be connected to the same device. It turns out the service was horrible. Both devises did not have a good/non connection. We hardly got to use the wifi. I have used other companies in the past and had better results. Will not be using Global WiFi in future trips.
Very good service! Our hotspot was well in time and very easy to use. Because it is a pocket model, we could bring it along everywhere, and thus we were always able to use Google Maps to find our way around. Of course, the coverage of the mobile network is limited, and in remote areas not always available. But along the way on a hike, there were always sufficiënt spots where it worked just fine.
