Fifth time booked and still cancelled despite seemingly perfect weather - no winds, clear and dry. It makes you wonder what the weather conditions have to be for the flight to take place !

I had to cancel a balloon ride due to my father being ill. The lady I dealt with via email (Natalie) could not have been more helpful. She is a credit to the company. I am able to rebook the balloon ride for a later date. Excellent customer service. I would definitely use virgin experiences again.

It was such a unique experience to be able to go in a hot air balloon. It did take a few tries to not have our booking cancelled due to the weather, but we had the best experience and the whole team were so friendly and informative. We would recommend trying a hot air balloon, just be patient with the weather as it does need specific conditions to fly so it is safe.

Our 1st booking, think we were fortunate, for our flight, on a perfect frosty October morning. Clear joining instructions. Comprehensive safety briefing. Efficient loading arrangements and we were off! We drifted over the Evesham early morning countryside, at 3,000 feet. Our pilot pointed out all the relevant landmarks. We could see beyond Birmingham over 50 miles away. It was just fabulous! We were up for about 1 hour before a text book landing in a farmers field. Fizz and juice was a nice touch and a certificate to commemorate the flight! 10/10 for the friendly professionalism of Russell our pilot! Thanks for making this such a happy and memorable occasion.

I bought my husband a voucher for a hot air balloon flight for his 40th birthday, September of last year. We've had 5 flights cancelled, still no flight, and zero chance of me getting my money back. Beyond frustrated, and will make sure that any friends or family planning to use Virgin for a balloon flight are aware of the likelihood that they'll never get a flight, and also won't be able to get their money back.

We had an amazing flight experience. Peter was the best pilot and offered a breathtakingly good flight. We strongly recommend the Virgin Cambridgeshire departure.

What an experience this was I highly recommend taking a flight, Firstly the booking although easy is dependant on the weather so don’t expect to go flying on your first booking we managed on our 3rd but boy was it worth the wait. We took off and saw the clouds below and it was truly stunning as they melted away in the sunshine, it was one of the most memorable moments of our lives.

Dealt with Natalie regarding my balloon vouchers. She dealt with my query quickly and was very friendly and helpful, couldn't have asked for a better service.

All staff whom I communicated with were friendly, courteous, professional and empathetic in dealing with my problem.

Damon (pilot) and James (ground crew) were both really friendly, knowledgeable and efficient and made everyone feel part of the team. The flight was fantastic, Damon's knowledge of the area pointing out landmarks was great. Packing away the balloon at the end of the trip was also a fun way to end and the celebratory drinks provided was an unexpected but perfect finishing touch to the day (along with the sunset). Thank you guys for making this so great - would love to do it again.

The flight was my first booking. It was a perfect evening for flying and all went off very well.

We had been waiting a long time for our flight but it was well worth the wait. Chris Aindow - the pilot - was such a lovely guy and great fun. His team were really helpful and made the experience a pleasure. We enjoyed every bit of it and would definitely recommend doing this to anyone.
