I received a very quick reply. Even though my request wasn't satisfied (I wanted an extension to my booking deadline due to the winter season when no flights are available) I was informed that when I try to book towards the end of my deadline and am unable to make the booking at that time, I can contact them again to get an extension at that time.

Fantastic flight. Pete the pilot was very cheerful and explained everything very clearly. Steve and Adrian ( the ground team ) were great too. After waiting a long time to do this flight ( weather causing cancellation and Covid ) I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Wonderful birthday present

We really enjoyed our hot air balloon flight, we had to book it in a couple of times due to issues with weather on the day but it was easy to rebook online and totally worth it, our flight was amazing! Phil was a great pilot, made sure we were safe and gave us lots of interesting information about where we were, the gps tracker etc. The views were amazing, we even went above the clouds and saw a cool shadow of our balloon surrounded by a double rainbow. We really enjoyed watching them set up and helping them pack everything away afterwards, we definitely earned our glass of Prosecco! The certificate and extra photos and videos were great too. Everyone was very friendly and we had the best time! We’d definitely recommend it!

The weather wasn’t brilliant, so we were a bit concerned about the flight. Peter was absolutely great he was funny and knowledgeable and made the whole experience fantastic. Once we got above the mist it was incredible we felt we were on top of the world.

A fantastic experience that is completely surreal. It was absolutely beautiful and going above the clouds made myself and my partner feel like we were on top of the world. We flew with Peter and his crew and he made us feel safe and informed the whole time. I was a little apprehensive of the landing being that I am scared of heights and rollercoasters but this was like we were floating on air. Would thoroughly recommend this experience and plan to do it again.

What an experience. Flew from ashton court in Bristol on a sunny Saturday evening and managed to fly all across Bristol. It was my second flight and my partners first. All the crew were extremely friendly. Our pilot was matt, extremely knowledgeable and super friendly chap. After a glass of champaign watching the sunset over Bristol caroline arrived and took us all back to where we started. Caroline was super professional and friendly. You could just tell that giving the passengers an amazing experience with no hassle was their number 1 priority. Thank you matt and caroline and of course the rest of the crew. We will see you again soon.

I had a truly frustrating experience with Virgin Balloon Flights. I purchased tickets four years ago, and after my tickets expired twice, I managed to renew them. However, despite booking three flights, each was cancelled due to bad weather. Now, they’re saying my tickets can’t be extended or renewed because they’ve expired again. It feels incredibly unfair, especially after all this time. I would not recommend their service; the customer support has been lacking, and I feel completely let down. I’ve lost over £400, it’s a waiting game that you need to play, Save your money and look elsewhere!

Pete Philpott welcomed us, professionally gave us the safety briefing, and flew us safely through the clouds into a blue sky and sunshine moment above the white fluffy cloud base below us. Quite magical. He was always willing to answer the questions from our team.we gradually descended and landed on a grass area, only to discover a block of immovable concrete at gate entrance, so up we went up again (what a bonus!) to look for somewhere else. We landed safely, packed up balloon and took minibus back to our cars. A drink was provided and certificates given, a brilliant pilot and fantastic experience

We have had so many cancel due to bad weather but I can honestly say it was worth the wait, everything about it was amazing and I am so glad we stuck with it. 100% recommend, the pilot and the ground team were fantastic

So I bought the tickets a long time ago now but unfortunately for us this just didn't work out. We took time off work and we even booked hotel stays but each time the hot air balloon was cancelled. I feel that you should get a hot air balloon ride if you pay a few hundred for one. For us our tickets just expired and they got money for nothing. What a waste.

Great experience, floating at 2000 feet was so surreal, need to be prepared to help re bag the balloon after landing!! 💪

My balloon flight was a birthday present. It took me a while to get round to booking the flight and I did find it difficult to work out what to do. Eventually I booked for October half term and travelled 1 1/2 hours to site. We were really lucky that the flight went ahead. Weather was cloudy but dry. This proved to be perfect as we went above the clouds to sunshine and blue skies plus a special rainbow. Really enjoyed the whole experience, friendly pilot. Should have booked earlier but in the end it was perfect. Thank you!

The flight itself was incredible, but the pilot, support team and general organisation are what made the whole experience exceptional. Highly recommended and I will be doing it again.
