The flight was amazing, the experience on the day was incredible but unfortunately it took 2 years for us to get a day where they didn’t cancel. Would highly recommend!! It’s definitely an experience.

Graeme and his team are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. They ensure that you are aware of any dangers while at the same time involving you in the set up and putting away of equipment. The flight itself was truly amazing with Graeme explaining how the winds can affect the balloon, pointing out various landmarks and just his general knowledge of the areas he flies in. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone.

It was an amazing experience the pilot was welcoming and polite and talked about balloons with a passion. The views were outstanding and we were treated to champagne and given a certificate at the end. All safely information and take off and landing positions were clearly explained. I had an absolutely fabulous day .

The total involvement over a three hour period, including the one hour flight, from pre-flight preparation and inflation of the balloon to its packing away after landing. A very enthusiastic, personable and informative pilot completed a memorable experience.

Exciting to hear that our flight was on after being postponed a couple of times. Good to help in the preparation and then take off, drifting over the trees below. Good chat from the pilot but apart from the noise when the burners were ignited really quiet. 360 degree views of course and some mist added to the atmosphere. Gentle landing and then the pack up and pick up. My wife and I fancy another flight soon!

Welll organised from booking to checking if fight going ahead to on the day helping to set up and pack away balloon. Graham was Informative before during and after flight. Amazing experience woukd recommended.

We had an amazing experience with our Virgin hot air balloon adventure, and pilot Russell Collins was outstanding; informative, patient, encouraging, allowing hands-on opportunities to make you feel ballooning is a team effort. Expertly executed, Russell was entertaining and clearly loved sharing the unique experience, ensuring everyone was included and felt comfortable with the amazing flying machine! From take off to landing the experience could not have been better, and the Prosecco toast at our success rounded off a trip of a lifetime perfectly! Ken Bates & Andrew Cooper

We were very fortunate to have only been delayed once because of the weather conditions. Our pilot Allie was amazing 👏 we had a wonderful flight and the views were amazing. Truly a wonderful experience. Made all the better by our pilot and ground crew. Its a must for everyone

Had almost given up after 11 flights in 4.5years being cancelled. Wow soooo glad we didn't as the experience was utererly breathtaking. It really was the perfect flight. Stunning views. Our pilot Ally was fabulous who made everyone feel at ease right from the start. Her instructions were clear and concise. Great sense of humour too, just a lovely lady all round. Great experience would recommend to anyone (who isn't afraid of heights!). But you do feel so safe and secure in the basket. Nobby our pilot was fantastic, funny and knowledagble and shared a good story or 2

We had perfect weather with an atmospheric clarity that even our pilot, Nobby, said was unusual. We travelled from Sweden to take this flight and it was well worth the journey. I have flown twice before, but this was the best. Thanks must also go to the office staff who found a flight for us just as our voucher was about to expire again. Not sure how they did it, but thanks to them we had a wonderful experience. Thanks also to the skill of Nobby and his ground crew. Everything was done with professionalism and humour.

Whilst it did take us a while to get to our balloon flight, once we’d done it, it was so worth the wait and previous disappointments. The pilot we had was amazing, answered lots of our questions, made it a wonderful experience. Everything about it was magical; seeing the balloon getting set up, the flight itself (with the pilot pointing out landmarks and talking so knowledgeably about his occupation), the landing, helping pack it all away, and obviously champagne to celebrate the end. Words cannot describe how wonderful it was! Highly recommend it as an experience and certainly the Wiltshire crew lead by Nobby, were a delight! Thank you so so much 😊

We recently had the absolute pleasure of flying with Knobby Simonds as our pilot through Virgin Balloon Flights, and the experience surpassed all of our expectations. We took off from Bath and were immediately treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys. The sight was incredible, with crystal-clear views stretching all the way out to the sea. Knobby and his fantastic team made the experience truly memorable. They were not only professional but also warm and welcoming, making us feel completely at ease from start to finish. Knobby’s skill and calm presence as a pilot made the flight feel effortless and enjoyable. His passion for ballooning was evident, and he shared fascinating insights along the way. This was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that we would highly recommend to anyone! Apart from my difficulty getting in and out of the basket (because of my age not the basket) it was a brilliant experience. The pilot and his team, as well as some of the other passengers, were extremely helpful, and gave very clear instructions. I would recommend the ride to anyone.

My son bought me a hot air balloon experience for my birthday and I was so pleased that the weather conditions on Monday were good so that I could have this fabulous experience. The pilot was really friendly and was experienced so we felt safe even at 5,000 feet. I was impressed when a camera appeared on ropes outside and took a photograph of everyone in the air which is now a lovely souvenir. After about an hour above the countryside of Buxton we had a nice soft landing in a farmers field and then were given a glass of fizz and a certificate. I would definitely recommend this for a unique present.

From the very start the team welcomed us and put us at ease, they were a great bunch of guys with a fun sense of humour throughout. We were involved in unpacking the balloon which broke the ice with other passengers. All safety aspects were explained in detail, there was no confusion in what we had to do. Once up in the air it was unbelievable, so quite and surreal, we went above the clouds (wow) I could have stayed up there all day, sadly we couldn't. It was so worth the wait, we had tried several times to fly but due to weather conditions it wasn't to be. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend it to anyone considering to do tge same, you won't regret it.
