My sister and I flew with our pilot Woody on the 19th AM flight. It was an amazing experience and Woody and the team were great! i would 100% do it again!

Chris and his team were fantastic and made the whole experience unforgettable. They were well organised, professional and good fun. We were able to enjoy our experience on the 4th attempt and were treated to a wonderful experience flying over the Sussex countryside on a beautiful summers evening
The Pilot, Tom Hook made us feel very involved in the setting up and taking down of the balloon. Although the balloon itself had possibly seen better days he handled it expertly and the flight was great. Very hot underneath the burners though. The unexpected illness of a passenger was handled professionally and the resulting emergency landing done with skill and care. I would definitely do it all again!
We have not been on our balloon experience yet however I have arranged to upgrade from during the week to include weekends. Natalie Wells the customer service advisor who dealt with this was absolutely brilliant. Virgin have also extended significantly the expiry date for our trip which has taken the pressure off. Natalie and Virgin could not have been more accommodating or helpful. We look forward to our trip when we eventually manage it but top marks for customer service. Thank you
Pilot Mike and crew were professional and friendly making the experience all the more enjoyable. They immersed everyone into the experience effortlessly. After waiting nearly 3 years to get a booking date with perfect flying conditions, we had the best ever experience. The crew were informative, and always had our safety in mind whilst involving everyone in the set up ( and packing away) of the balloon. Once airborne Chris (the pilot) was chatty, friendly and able to point out places of interest, while spotting wildlife (deer, buzzards, hares and even llamas/alpacas.) Ed and Henry ( the ground crew), were equally as friendly. It was an experience I will never forget and will happily do again in a heartbeat.
Crew and pilot were friendly and helpful, everyone was a new flyer and made us all feel safe and excited! We all got to help put the balloon up and down and we even got a cheeky drink at the end. It was calm, relaxing and pretty as ever! Would definitely do this again!

What a great experience. After it had been postponed on many occasions to finally find the perfect blue sky, summer's day was worth waiting for. The pilot and the ground team did a great job.
The whole package was so worth the wait. Many cancellations but the weather has to be spot on. Peter was a great pilot, ably assisted by Tim and Keith. From the briefing to inflation and beyond the experience was epic. Loved it and highly recommend.

From the initial safety briefing until we were driven back to the launch site to retrieve our car, the entire experience was magnificent. Assisted by a great support team on the ground, Tom (Hook) is a superb pilot. Throughout the flight he not only handled the balloon with tremendous skill, but also engaged constantly with passengers, answering questions, explaining some of the nuances of ballooning and sharing his knowledge of the landscape below. Towards the end of the flight, an onboard medical incident forced an earlier than anticipated landing. Tom handled the situation with absolute aplomb, maintaining a calm, assured and measured response throughout (as did his ground staff on our landing). An absolute credit to Virgin Balloon Flights and the world of ballooning in general.
The thing that made the experience a time to remember is strangers meeting for the first time worked together to prep the ballon which broke the ice and made the experience more enjoyable. The flight itself was perfect so quiet and slow it gave you time to absorb the experience and share it with your new friends. Things look much different at 2,000 feet.
Only booked last week and was lucky to have our flight. There was a venue change from Paddock Wood to Wadhurst. Once in a lifetime trip and well worth doing. I do not like heights but the view is awesome and takes your mind of the height. Climbing into the basket was a bit of a challenge and the landing a bit bumpy, but no complaints of the pilot or his team.
Took a few bookings before the weather conditions were right, but well worth the wait in the end.
