The whole experience was fantastic. The team informed us of what to expect and what to do during the flight. All the passengers helped to get the balloon ready and packed up afterwards. We all got on really well and had a laugh whilst doing it. The flight was amazing with views over the Lake District, particularly Lake Windermere and Kendal town. The weather conditions were perfect and we had a very soft and controlled landing. After the flight we had a glass of Prosecco to celebrate then we were taken back to the starting point in a minibus. We have since received the pictures taken during the flight which capture the experience perfectly. Thank you to Ben the pilot for ensuring we had a safe and enjoyable flight. I would highly recommend this experience.

From the moment we arrived, Chris and the team made us feel welcome and gave us the experience we have waited 14 months for. This was our 5th flight to be booked, previously weathered off. But we had everything crossed and what was delivered was the most amazing experience that I will remember for my lifetime. I have always wanted to do a balloon flight and the views we saw were incredible, helped by a glorious summers evening, seeing as far south as the wind farm off Hove and all over towards Gatwick in the north. Chris kept us informed with sights and flight paths and the Team encouraged everyone to take part with inflation and deflation. Chris also landed us perfectly in a standing position. If you get the chance to do a flight with Virgin balloons I would recommend the Petworth flight team and buying the photo package to relive it all over again! Thank you guys for an unforgettable evening to celebrate my 40th.

It was so peaceful and serene in the balloon and the 360 ° views were amazing. The pilot gave us all information we could ask for and it was a long time box, well and truly ticked.

Lynn was very professional and quick to assist me with my query. I had the information I needed in a short space of time. It was a great customer service experience.

Graeme the pilot was brilliant, very knowledgeable and told us what he was doing and why. We got to help set up the balloon, which was great to watch.All the ground staff were great. At the end we all helped to put the balloon away...Good fun... Only one negative thing I could say, there was 4 in our basket and when it came to landing we sat down..I was squashed, girl next to me was practically sitting on my lap!!! 😂 A wee certificate and a glass of bubbly was a lovely touch at the end of our experience. I would certainly do it again.

Tried booking flights 3 times each time it was cancelled. I upgraded my ticket to give me more options. Still couldn’t book. In the end virgin cancelled my tickets and wanted me to pay another £80 per person to revalidate them. I’ve lost £100s of pounds and still no balloon trip. It’s well over subscribed, flights are regularly cancelled and they take your money without giving you the service you’ve paid for. It’s a scam of sorts. Oh and the customer service followed the company line and quoted the T&C. Didn’t given tried and see it from the customer’s view.

From start to finish the day was perfect. It ran smoothly and our flight was peaceful, we just floated through the air. Graham, Kevin and Steph were very professional while making it fun.

Perfect weather for a balloon ride. Hosts were excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

Well worth the wait after 11 cancelled flights. From meeting up with Dave and the team in the morning, to the end of the flight we had a fantastic day. Fantastic views of York and the surrounding countryside. Nice to be able to help with setting up the balloon and then packing it away at the end of the flight. Don't know how we got it back in the bag. Will definitely do it again and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of trying a balloons flight. Thanks again to Dave & the team for making it such an enjoyable day

A perfect experience. Involved from start to end, the flight itself was incredible and we had a world record holding pilot in control. I hate heights, never wanted to do a balloon flight until my daughter suggested it, and I loved every second. Balloon flying is calming, tranquil and instills mental clarity when your 2000ft in the air.
