Right from the start Dave & the team made us all feel welcome and went through the details of the morning with us. We all had a hand in getting the balloon up in the air and then at the end we worked as a group to get the balloon back in its bag which was funny squashing the air out while trying to stay upright in a farmer's hayfield! Well done to apprentice Charlie who stepped up for some of the briefings! The ride itself was smooth & serene as we watched the sun rise over York - could have stayed up there all day! Thank you very much - another bucket list item ticked off! :)

Hot air balloon was a fabulous experience. Really peaceful, lots of wildlife and gorgeous views. Peter Philpott and his team were excellent.

We had a perfect day. The weather was ideal and the flight experience itself was as good as we could have hoped. Mike the pilot was a fantastic host with an extremely friendly personality and the ladies helping were equally as pleasant. Due to Covid and other factors, we had waited 5 years for this trip but in the end it was worth every second of it! Massive thank you to everyone.

Had an evening flight with Peter, Tim and Steve. The experience was a present for my wife and it was amazing. You are involved in setting up the ballon and packing it away which for me added to the trip. The flight itself was awesome and Peter the pilot put everyone at ease. Would thoroughly recommend this to everyone to try.

Truly amazing experience from start to finish. You can help to get the balloon ready for flight which adds to the whole experience. The balloon ride was breathtaking so calm tranquil with amazing views. Glass of prosecco once landed, with certificate and amazing professional photos to add to collection.

After 4 years and 14 cancellations due to weather it was worth the wait - don’t be naive to think you’ll book and fly any day- unless your really lucky! Weather plays a big part but safety first and it was amazing!

It was a fabulous interactive experience and you are made to feel like one of the team. The crew are extremely safety conscious. The pilot is very knowledgeable and entertaining during the flight.

Hot air balloon AM experience was brilliant. The weather was on our side. Beautiful clear skies. Smooth ride, friendly navigator. Safety instructions given. Even a glass of orange or prosecco at the end and a certificate. Great birthday present 🎁

My daughter and I really enjoyed our hot air balloon trip this week. The flight was a 40th birthday present to my daughter in January 2023. Due to unfavourable weather conditions this was our 7th booking attempt but it was worth the wait! Our launch site was Llanarth, Raglan and we were looked after from the time we arrived. Our pilot Mike Petteford talked us through everything and made us laugh. The views were beautiful and Mike pointed out landmarks like the Brecon Beacons and Sugarloaf mountain. It was so interesting learning more about ballooning. We always felt safe. We landed upright and intact. It was fun helping to get the balloon up and to deflate it. Caroline instructed us on how to roll and flatten the balloon at the end. Her skills and strength were very impressive. I would recommend the experience and to be patient with the weather as it really is worth it.

Every aspect of this was amazing. The pilot Chris and the ground crew were all fabulous - they were the cherries on the top of an amazing experience. The flight itself was breath taking and it's hard to put into words gow incredible it was. I could not recommend any more highly.

What an amazing experience with Allie & her crew. We were blessed with glorious Somerset weather for our balloon flight & judging by the comments from all on board everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Would I do it again? Absolutely YES. Thanks for a memorable morning 10/10.

Although an early start (4am alarm) the experience was wonderful. This was a gift for my husbands birthday last year (20th August) and well worth the wait. I had heard of flights being cancelled due to weather conditions but it looked like we timed ours just right and it was 1st time lucky. Great staff and a most enjoyable experience. Would recommend.

Sold as sunrise/sunset but actually morning or evening. Sold as a luxury experience but actually just a lot of waiting around. Expected to help our the balloon up and out it away. Land you in middle if nowhere. Forbus 2ft high wet grass, shoes and trousers ruined. Unless you're wearing knee high wellies your shoes got ruined. Only goes ap maybe 150metres tops. The breakfast is couple of croissants in the back of the shop and th champagne you stand around awkwardly and drink a small glass of £25 odd a bottle glads of champagne. Boring experience overall, not luxury at all. Made a complaint to virgin as that's who we bought it with and just sent us to wild pig and said we should have complained on the day but we didn't buy it from them, we bought it from virgin. Don't waste your money

Really great customer service team who were empathetic in understanding our difficulties booking (it took us 5 years!) The actual experience ran really smoothly and was fantastic. Really serene up amongst the clouds with great 360 degree views (we were lucky apparently).

The pilot Russell Collins was so knowledgeable about the area told us where we were flying over. What was there really enjoyable? Highly recommended

After a few cancelled flights due to our lovely British weather, our evening flight happened and it was sensational! Our pilot Russell Collins put us all at ease and got us involved with preparing and packing away the balloon. One of our party had limited mobility, every care and consideration was given to make sure he was given the support he needed. Thoroughly recommended. A magical experience that will stay with us for a lifetime. Thank you all so much.

My Virgin Balloon flight was a totally marvellous experience. The pilot, Pete Philpot and his crew, Keith and Steve, were very professional, courteous, informative and attentive, calming and engaging. The aerial views were stunning and the flight seemed to end too quickly. After a good landing all the passengers helped fold up the balloon and pack it away which gave rise to good team work and much laughter. All rounded off with a celebratory glass of Prosecco! Go for it!

What an amazing experience my wife and i had, our pilot Tom Hook and the ground crew were fantastic and made the whole experience enjoyable and exiting. From being picked up, helping launch, the flight, landing and packing away and a lovely glass of prosecco to finish off made the perfect day. This balloon flight was a present for our birthdays and will remain as one of the best we have ever had.
