I have a Travel company where I host group trips in which I currently have over 60 flights booked with Vayama totally over $70,000. All 60 flights were cancelled almost 3 months ago due to Covid 19. The trip dates have passed and I still haven’t received any flight credit voucher or refund. I spoke to Emirates airline today (the airline that we booked with via Vayama) to only find out that Vayama have NOT even submitted a request for a refund for ANY of my cancelled flights. Therefore I now have over 60 guest waiting for me to postpone a trip that can’t be postponed until I receive flight credit or a refund and there’s NO way to contact Vayama besides email which is just sending an automated message. This is absolutely a nightmare. There’s no way this is acceptable. There’s no way someone can just take your money and operate in this manner. I will NEVER use them again
During a time in a pandemic and crisis, Vayama is doing a TERRIBLE job of reaching back to their clients. Automated responses are being sent to me on how to change my flight- but the information they’re giving me is totally wrong. I have seen my terms and I AM eligible for a voucher but Vayama has been no help at all in this process because it’s a third parties job to accommodate and change our flights when needed. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
Like everyone else here I tried to contact them for cancellation of my future flight. Their customer service number is not working and an email sent is bounced back with a generic response. I will never use this site again. They should be banned from allowing to take new bookings.
Impossible to reach. They stated they would send voucher for cancelled covid flight but been almost three months and haven't seen anything. NEVER USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN
Vayama decided to issue me a voucher for a future flight after my flight was canceled. Now I got an email stating that they are working on a refund but somehow it's not their fault since the airline has not returned the money to them. Turkish airlines told me that the money was refunded to Vayama. They are trying to stall so they don't have to refund the money.
Worst travel agency I ever worked with. Horrible customer service. Pay $1000 extra on ticket but avoid booking through them
They cancelled a flight due to covid 19. Just as every other review has stated there is no one to contact so they pretty much kept my money. I will be contacting the better business bureau tomorrow, so even if I do not get my money at least they are reported. WORSE people ever to book with. Carlo B.
Don't get hooked by their promising price it's just like going to a quicksand there's no one who can help you when problem arises. Their customer service is very poor, your e-mails will just be responded with a generic response. Their customer service numbers are not working. I even called their number from the Netherlands but there's no one behind it. Big lesson learned, don't book to travel agency go directly to the web site of the airlines.
Just for few dollars less I got the ticket but ended up paying more for the luggage. More than 200$$. While going to the destination it allowed 2 baggage’s but while coming back it allowed 1 baggage. I packed two and had to pay 230$$. Ripped off. Absolutely ripped off. I don’t know where to ask for the refund. So not a good platform to buy ticket. Complete ripped off.
It's simply horrible. The website might be ok to navigate but there is no number and no customer service can be reached. I purchased a ticket and I have to change it now, and even though I purchased their Premium pack, it is still very difficult to figure out how to change it. No ability on web site and no phone number to call. The email reply I am receiving are either automated or from people that don't even read my question. Frustrating and ridiculous. I will never purchase a ticket on this site anymore.
Vayama refused to issue a refund despite the mandate to return costs of cancelled flights due to covid19. I just got my money back by disputing a claim with the credit company but it would have been nice if I didn’t have to cite a federal mandate and be ignored by Vayama.
I've Used Vayama three times now for flight bookings and until now there have been no issues. However, on 28th May, my flight was canceled due to Covid-19 and trying to get a an email or phone response from them is impossible. Lots of automated messages but no actual intelligence behind them, even after emailing 4 times, the automated messages are the same, insisting I rebook a flight I in three weeks! Especially annoying when there are better options available directly from the original airline and two weeks earlier!! I'd be reluctant to use them again because of the lack of staffing to answer the phone or provide a direct email response to instructions on re-booking. I fear that I now have a battle ahead to get a refund of the flights but at least the airline has been sympathetic in booking me a flight at no additional cost to leave a few days later. Shame on you Vayama, please improve your customer service and provide adequate customer phone and email support.
I had a really terrible experience getting a refund for my flights to Asia in March 2020. I emailed an acceptance of the cancellation fee but then nothing since then (3 months ago). This was thousands of dollars. I strongly recommend not booking with Vayama. Dan Copp
Stay away from this website. It is a scam. I purchased 5 tickets to Japan in May, I also paid for total $600 for reserve seating. I sent them 10 emails and no response, I finally got the refund from the airlines for the 5 tickets. However, they didn't refund me the reserve seating amount. I called the Airlines and they said I need to contact the agency for the refund... .. I am not going to go to this website anymore.
I booked a domestic flight. Unfortunately, the flight got cancelled due to coronavirus. I dropped numerous emails to Vayama for a refund but I didn't get any response. I am wondering what kind of scam is this?

I'm trying to contact you so you can apply the travel voucher option for my trip with Icelandair this August. Icelandair can not process my request since the tickets were purchased through a third-party agent which is Vayama. I need to get that voucher while Icelandair is offering it. I don't want to miss my chance for a voucher or else lose the money. All Icelandair needs is for you to contact their support team so they can go ahead and process that voucher.
I cannot emphasize enough to stay the hell away from this website. Purchased a ticket about a week in advance, never got issued the ticket. Customer Service is completely not available. By the time they got back to me was after the plane departed. This is a disgusting scam of a website and shouldn't be allowed to legally sell any product. Update: I have since joined a class-action lawsuit against Vayama. STAY AWAY! Yes they are legitimate but their policies stink. During the recent Covid-19 problems they could not complete my flight as booked. (Destination border was to be closed on my arrival day, and the airline stated the flight was to be cancelled) As such both in the US and Europe they are required to refund the total flight cost if notified prior to the departure date. But they refused to answer their phones? A message just stated for better customer service they would only take emails?? So I sent over 8 emails days to hours before flight time. About a month later I got a reply stating since I did not notify them of the problem in advance they would only issue me a credit minus a $100 processing fee! No other airline or vendor has assessed an additional fee during this time. This is so rude and shows the total lack of concern for their customers. I finally protested the charge with my bank, and they found in my favor. I was well within my rights to request a full refund. They reversed the charge in full. I will never book with Vayama again and strongly suggest no one else should unless they decide not to make their money so dishonestly.
Dear Vayama, A booking has been made with my credit card and under my name without my approval or consent. This booking was made less than 24 hours ago. I have not authorized this booking. Please cancel this booking and issue a full refund. Will notify my credit card company as well. I have already emailed your customer service but have only received automated email messages without any help. Thank you.
