Worst company I have ever booked through. I booked a flight internationally to get home due to a family emergency. They allowed me to book my flight and then cancelled it 2 days later due to coronavirus (that had been known for about 5 months). When trying to call to get a refund nobody answered and I have called multiple times and emailed multiple times. The airline (Icelandair) says it will take 12 weeks for me to get a refund, so then I was out not only $727 but had to book last minute another flight that was $2000!!! Never use this company!!! Oh and I still haven’t heard from them and it’s almost been a month.

Don’t bother trying to call they won’t pick up. The only email I receive is an automated one giving me instructions that are wrong. There is no way to cancel under “My Trips” and they will not answer follow-up emails. This company is horrendous and should be avoided if there is even the slightest possibility changes occur with the flights. The airline changed my flight and advised me I am due for a full refund, however, vayama has to initiate the refund request. The airline provided me with a phone number for Vayama on file attached to the booking but the number was no longer in service when I called. They have not answered any emails or calls aside from automated responses.

So I ordered a ticket through Vayama to fly to Europe because my wife was going into labor. She end up going to the hospital earlier and I had to make changes to the flight. I sent over 27 Emails and about 50 phone calls in a spam of a week, and not a single representative got back to me. Don’t ever use this company they don’t give a flying duck about their customers.

They don’t answer the phone after hours of waiting. Our flights got cancelled because of CoVid and they will not respond to anything! Lufthansa won’t refund our seats because they say Vayama has to refund tickets first. This is a nightmare!!!! Horrible experience!!! Who does business This way! It is grand theft!

Dogsh*t agency, cancelled flight since April and it is June. When I call them they hang up on you after an automated message and every email I've sent has received the same automated response and no email from real people. They say they have to wait for the airline to refund but I don't believe their bullsh*t cause there's no way they are taking this f*ckin long to refund the tickets. They just hoarding the money and refusing to return them.

I bought airline tickets through Vayama company to go to Japan last April. Flight was canceled due to COVID-19. I contacted Japan airline to ask for the refund they said I have to contact the agency that I brought these tickets from. I sent email 3 times, they just have automated reply emails, no body answer the phone. Bad service.

RUN AT ALL COSTS They are a dishonest and I believe in trouble. Getting runaround from them on a promised refund. They never call back when they promise, always have a different story when I call. Been disconnected several times when asking hard questions in a calm and professional manner. And now 90 days after they got the $$ from airline they still have not refunded to me but keep promising....

This company's customer service is truly terrible, they do not respond or answer, I'm wondering is there a way to protect our legal rights ?

I have been buying tickets from them for a while, but recently their service became terrible and I wont be using them again. 1. There is no mechanism to deal with urgent situations, they dont answer phones and they have this terribly slow and unhelpful email system, which is not helpful at all and takes forever for them to write some useless stuff in it. One Word : terrible ! 2. My airline cancelled the flight and it takes forever for them to process the refund, I contacted the airline and airline said they already refunded the money to the agency (vayama) but they didnt refund it back to me yet... Maybe they will do it next year. Two Words: terrible, horrible !

They charged me a 20 percent cancellation fee for a flight cancelled because of Covid-19. Air Canada refunded the full amount, but Vayama kept $200 for doing nothing! The moral of this story: during Covid, book thru airline websites not online travel agents. More expensive (sometimes)but worth it if you need a refund or ticket change. Update: After scrolling thru pages and pages of complaints, I now feel fortunate that I got 80 percent of my money back. Many people are still waiting without hope. I found Vayama thru Kayak so I have emailed them for help. Will post the Kayak response if any. Update Part 2: Kayak kindly told me it is not their problem; they are only a search engine for travel. No surprises. I also checked reviews of other OTAs and at least they resolved, tried to resolve or contested some of the customer email complaints. Vayama has yet to respond to one customer complaint and I scrolled back to mid March. I'll leave the conclusions to others but... Update 3: Timeline April 21 I requested refund from Vayama when I found out Air Canada cancelled my flight. June 10 Vayama credited my card 80 percent original fare. Call it 7 weeks total. Update 4: July 7 I called Visa to dispute charge but was told after 60 days not possible as I bought ticket in Nov. 2019. End of story? We'll see. Good luck to all of you. Update 5: Sept. 1 I just went to pay off my credit card for the month when I spotted a $199.98 CREDIT to my account. Is Vayama now budgetair. com? That was who refunded the cancellation fee. So I am happy to report a positive ending to this very long story. Once again good luck to all of you and don't give up.

I am requesting for cancellation for a week now and i dont see any reply from the customer care team. The Airlines confirmed that my booking is eligible for cancellation and full refund. Yet these ppl are not taking any action and i am left furiously following up. PLEASE AVOID BOOKING THROUGH VAYAMA THEY ARE TERRIBLE.

Do not use this company for flights! As with many that posted on this sight, I too fell victim of their lure of a good deal to fly internationally. Then COVID19 hit and all flights were cancelled. The website basically says....don’t call us we will call you if you are eligible for a refund! I purchased a service from them, that was cancelled by the vendor they used, and they say “if you are due a refund”? Rip off! Horrible service.

Vayama - I've been waiting for 3 months now to get my refund. Vayama emailed me on March 11th saying: "We have informed the airline about your cancellation, so they can process it and initiate the refund. This might take some time.Once we receive the refund from the airline, we will transfer it immediately to your account. You will then also receive your cancellation invoice. We will keep you updated about the progress." You then emailed me on March 14th saying: "Please note that your refund is being processed by our refund department. You will receive an update from us about the refund status via email when it is processed and the money is being returned to your account." It is June 9th. It shouldn't matter that there is a pandemic going on. It has been 3 months and I need my money back since the airline canceled, not me.

Zero customer service. I have been trying to get hold of them since March 11th to cancel or change flight due to travel restrictions. 5 emails with no response. Customer service line never answered and only got VM with instructions to email them. Well, we know how that went. If there was 0 stars that is what they deserve. Even when you check off to copy you on the email, that function doesn't work and you don't get copied. They are doing everything to keep your money and covering their tracks. Shameful!!!

stay away from these clowns!!! save your hard earned money. Back in March I purchased a round trip to Mexico, it was booked for May 29th but due to the pandemic I had to reschedule it, started contacting Vayama in early April the had me contact Alaska then Alaska sent me back again, because the ticket was purchased with foreign "currency", I do not know how Vayama works but that is what I was told, after many emails going back and forth, in late April Vayama game an indication that they were going to be able to help me out: "I have checked the airline policy regarding the Corona situation for your change request. The airline policy states that a change is permitted free of charge* for your ticket. * A fare difference may apply depending on availability as well as our administration fee. If you wish to proceed with the change please reply to this email, indicating the new departure dates." I sent them all the information they requested and up until now I have not heard from them. Save your money!
