I had flight for May 29 but it was canceled due to Covid 19. Vayama send me notification about that 5 day before the flight. After that they keep sending e-mails every two weeks that they are waiting refund from airflight company and that there is no time frame when that's going to happen. Finnaly four days ago they send an invoivce for money refund. Today my money were back on my account. Full amount, no charges, no fees. Writing this just to give some hope to all of you who are still waiting for refund. I had to wait for two monts, but at least I have my money back. Good luck to all of you
My flight was cancelled in January without any penalty fee due to Covid-19. We have waited for about 6 months for "full" refund. But we got about 20% of total amount today!!!!! They don't explain any reason about this situation. We tried to ask why but they sent us just automatic reply. It's terrible, horrible, awful!!! How can I get the rest of this?!!
These are Fraud people. I canceled my ticked and the airways refunded the money. I even got the email from Vayama that your refund accepted and will be refunded in 10 days. Now 42nd day and I called them. They say it is deposited in your account. It was never deposited in my account. These are the Fraud people. I lost $ 4000. Planning to file a compliant.
Terrible. I purchase a ticket and got date mistake . Sent them request within 24 hours, they respond in 3 days with “we cannot refund because it’s over 24 hours” Who cares . I requested same time as purchased
Terrible service! I paid extra for insurance they canceled my flight and refusing to reimburse me because I dealt directly with the airline and not them. The reason I dealt with the airline was because they never returned my emails and they didn’t accept calls! I will post my experience to all forums until they reimburse me! Avoid at all cost!
One of the worse companies , they don’t answer the phone and do not reply to your emails, absolutely no way to reach them after the reservation . Won’t use them again please avoid using them.
Honestly wouldn’t even give them one star, worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, they send you very generic reply’s to you emailing them, say they are at home working due to covid but honestly it seems they aren’t working to help anyone get refunds for cancelled flights, my flights got cancelled, they switched mine and only had a partial flight back home that existed, they are impossible to get in touch with, the tell you the airlines have to refund you, tell you to call them, so I did , British airlines, then they tell you the booking agent is the one who refunds. Over last two months trying to get help from someone about my flights and refund no actual person has helped me, worst booking agent ever!! I highly recommend you do not book thru them, i even got insurance on these flights to make sure I can get a refund for any reason, seems like they just took my money and never will refund me. Steer clear!! I never take the time to give bad reviews but this company is just the worst and I’d hate to see anyone go thru what I am . So I’ll be reporting them to BBB and any other avenues, absolute scam artists it seems.
My flight was canceled due to covid and I received an email saying they won't issue a refund because the airline company is not able to issue a short term cash refund???? The customer service is awfully rude, manipulative and dishonest. Will never use this company and will spread the word everywhere on the internet. Will also use every legal mean to fight this. Scam scam scam. Never use this company!!!!!
One of the worst companies to ever deal with. I have no clue why they have not had a lawsuit yet. I purchased a ticket from them and my return flight was canceled three times. My airline Etihad told me in order for me to receive a refund my travel agency (vayama) would have to submit paperwork to request for a refund. Vayama's phone number no longer works. On their email I keep getting a a copy and paste response. After numerous emails one rep asked if I would like to request a refund. I responded by saying yes and it's been 2 months and no refund or response.
I have been trying to find a way to get a refund for my canceled trip. No way to contact or even ask questions. I’m so disappointed and I will never book through this company again
Another situation, that seems to be a consistent thread, that it is over 3 months later & I still haven’t received a refund from vayama due to a cancelled flight - linked to covid-19. Customer service uses stalk tactics & is beyond not helpful. I just filed complaints with the BBB & DOT.

They have the worst customer service staff they have no knowledge as to what it is to be kind to people and responsive to emails. I have dealt with third party in the past and have never experienced such frustration and disappointment. My flight was cancelled due to COVID they’re telling me it can take up to six months for a refund which to me is an outrageous amount of time. My sister-law booked the same trip with cheap o air and received her refund in 23 days. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
These people are awful to deal with. We had a trip to Budapest, Hungary scheduled for March 20th. All flights were cancelled due to covid. I called customer service the first time, they said 4-6 weeks for my refund. The second time, they said 4-8. the next time they told me definitely by July 1st that I would receive my refund of $1600.70. It is July 10th and I have heard nothing. My friend who booked through Cheaptickets.com has received her refund already. They tell me it's because they have not received the refund from Lufthansa. I called Lufthansa and they said they have already refunded and did so within 2 months of the cancelled flights. I then called Vayama and they said that they still haven't been reimbursed. DO NOT USE THIS third party vendor. Find someone else - anyone else. It has been 112 days, 80 business days, FOUR months and NOTHING. If anyone would like to pursue a lawsuit against this company, please let me know. I am completely on board with doing so. Thanks so much for listening. DO NOT BUY TICKETS from them.
STAY AWAY. My intl. flight was cancelled because of COVID and while other travelers with me who got tickets directly from the airline (without insurance) received their refund in two day, Vayama is holding my refund for a month now... with no indication of when it will be processed. Customer service is not responsive. This was my first experience with this company and will never use their services again.
This is during the COVID-19 pandemic. My wife and I paid around $1200 for a flight back to Hong Kong. But we decided to have a layover in Taipei because that was the soonest flight available. During this time, Taipei is not allowing any layover that is 8+ hours. But Vayama booked our tickets that have an 11 hours layover in Taipei. We called them and they blame it on us agreeing on the tickets. Yes, we did agree on the tickets, but shouldn't Vayama as a third party agent know better and advise customers to buy the most worth it tickets? Customers rely on them, so be more responsible. Never getting tickets from them ever again~
They canceled my flight 24hr before and cost me 3x expensive to book urgent tickets. Please don't go with is company. It has been more than a week I could not get my refund. No one answers calls..
My trip to Singapore in March was canceled and after 3 and a half months of wait I finally get some message from them and they said they received my refund, but they want to charge me Vayama Cancelation Fee 200$, like the cancelation of flight was my fault. Also on their website they are not mentioning that anywhere. I know airline company made a full refund, since I was in touch with them. I wouldn't mind even waiting this long since I am aware that it is much work to process all the tickets but this fee I consider a fraud!
Like many people here im in the same boat with this careless company. Please note they are affiliated with Travix. I've been waiting for a refund for my cancelled flights for over 4 months and cannot get anywhere with the.. i have found some contacts on Travix that I reached out to and suggest you do the same. I've seen them talk about it on the news. Hopefully we can all get our money back by pursing them. Don't lose hope.
My flight was cancelled because of the COVID-19, the flight was suppose to leave 5/5/2020, you have yet to refund my account!! I can't get ahold of anyone in your business. This is an awful company, and I discourage anyone from ever using your services, your are dishonest and taking advantage of an awful situation.
