Informed to call 30 mins b4 arrive, and also Called when arrived, but Collected 1 hr Later after Arrived. After Holiday Made several calls to get car Returned, and waited 1 and Half hours! When finally turned up, the Driver was in a rush to leave the scene, while i was checking it over, and when noticed it had an additional 296 miles and went from a full tank fuel, to 1/4 Tank. The Driver Disappeared so had to Ring up to complain and they cut me off! When arrived home i have 2 Parking Tickets in 2 separate places. They ate Not a Trusted Company to use, and will never leave again with any Company. Park and Take Keys on Holiday with me. Disgusted, that a Company that you pay a Service for does that. E-Mailed Both Companies on Confirmation Of Order Sheet. Given 15 days to investigate and come up with Solution before i take Legal Action. Do Not Use This Company.
Extremely rude and unprofessional. We had to wait 1 hour and 20 mins for our car even though we book ‘meet and greet’. Do not use.
The most hideous experience of all time. Car has been taken for an3 day joy ride , broken, damaged , fuel on empty, tyres ruined, electric door ruined, sunglasses nicked, seats all been reclined as if vehicle slept in…. We now have a crime reference number and are taking legal action.
If I could leave zero I would Truly the worst company in any market i have come across Where do I start !? Ages to book car in, complaints from people while trying to book car in they had waited hours to get car back I decided to call it while in Alicante still just so I got it back reasonable time ! Gatwick issuebwhere the machine charged ne 50 quid instead of 5 i reported it within half hour this was the case and sent screen shots. 28th August still heard nothing On return, car radio had been changed, car was a tip drink bottle in the driver footwear I complained they parked a range rover sport in an end gap next to the wall and fence so tight my children couldn't get in. I had to move the car out. Something didn't sit right with me when I checked when arrived home they have caught a post and caused 800 quids worth of damage with 4 small dents, scuffed paint and cracked bumper passenger side I sent photos and requested there photos as most reputable company's do this or CCTV ignored and told to prove it werent like that when I took it in....... Joke of a company should be regulated and shut down. Gatwick should be ashamed to let people operate from there like this.
DO Not use this company, it’s awful from start to finish just not worth it car dirty old extra mileage even used to drive people around the Airport :( filthy interior on return not funny staff rude and aggressive.
Not trustable company Do not use neither compare your booking more skylink parking I made a mistake not to read reviews before my booking I booked through compareyourparking with skylink parking in Gatwick airport I had my car back dirty and muddy The glove compartment been unlocked and all the receipts I had kept for my tax purposes were lost The back armrest been opened with stains of alcoholic drink left on The lingering smells of alcohol and stains of spilled alcohol on the back seat clearly shows someone consumed alcoholic drinks in the car Hidden charges for drop off and collection
I would have felt happier leaving the car with the Marx Brothers. Angry customers witnessed surrounding clueless employees on drop off and pickup. Absurd and illegal small print terms of business trying to ditch any responsibility for anything going wrong. They might just as well have written “good luck” instead. Muddy (mostly inside) car came back with 80 miles on the clock. Now awaiting parking/speeding/paternity suits. Even then I’ll be one of the lucky ones by the sound of it. Ah well. A fool and his money……..
The below reviews are exactly to the point of how this company operates! Spoke to someone called Mikey and Dimitri (apparently) but given the lies we were told, I doubt that’s even their names. Waited 3 hours for our car, ended up taking other form of transport home and have spent 22 hours so far trying to track our car down. Have made 94+ calls, been hung up for over half of them, told to “f off”, absolutely disgusting human beings. Police are involved, they’ve had many of the same issues with the same company. The log just keeps increasing. If you get your car back, you’re lucky! Booked this through justparkme, there are two companies in operation .co.Uk and .com .. if you’re booking anything linked to skylinkparking.co.uk/ DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR WITH THEM!!!!!! Company operating number is 13527879. What a way to end the holiday, selfish selfish awful people. To top everything we finally tracked our car but had to go to the parking compound to find our own car. This was extremely intimidating and scary but it was the only way to get our car back.
Booked on basis of price and noted some negative reviews. We had booked South terminal meet and greet in the morning when we phoned to say we were 30 mins away we were told there was an accident on the south terminal ramp and to divert to North terminal. Drop off was no problem and we paid the £5 parking fee. On return we could see from the tracker that the car had been moved over an hour before we had landed at South terminal to the North terminal short stay. We collected our bags and phoned as requested and once again was asked to come to North not South terminal. You could make an assumption that they were short staffed and that was the reason why we had to drop off and pick up at another terminal. This in itself wasnt too much of a problem but the issue was that as the car had entered the car park an hour and 45mins before we were able to collect it we had an additional £13 parking to pay. The guy on duty wasnt interested and told us to contact Skylink which once home we did. I was asked to send in the receipts by email which I did and over a week after doing this and giving them the opportunity by reminding them of my issue before I wrote a review have heard nothing. I think looking at other reviews we escaped lightly. It's cheap because the service is terrible. Do not use!!
We returned from a trip to Gatwick Airport and proceeded to pick up our car from a meet and greet service paid for. We followed instructions having phoned and notified them that we had arrived. We were told to meet the driver and our car at Orange car park level 4. After nearly 3 hours of phone calls and excuses such as our car battery was flat and trying to jump start it to the point we were finally told our car could not be located in the dark. 2230 after 3 hours of lies our daughter, her partner and our 11 month old grandson were forced to take the train home. We were unable to take a cab or taxi as the baby seat was in the car. Today there is still no car! We've given up trying have reported to sussex police, trading standards, watchdog, crime stoppers, company House.. they must be stopped. Never ever using a meet and greet service ike this again!
I am honestly in disbelief at how bad this service was. Please people, pay more for a legit operator. The drop-off element went smoothly enough and I paid the Gatwick North Short-Stay Parking exit fee of £5 as clearly noted on their agreement. However on my return yesterday the service was frankly unbelievable. I called the number listed on my return voucher as soon as I was in the terminal building, because I only had hand luggage and knew I would be through passport control quickly. My flight landed exactly on time and as noted when I made my booking, and the person on the phone said my car would be there in about 30mins. This clearly implies that it was parked somewhere offsite, but when I arrived on the 5th floor of Short Stay Parking 6 as instructed, I could see my vehicle still parked exactly where I left it 3 days prior. When I spoke to their employee onsite dealing with drop-offs and collections he did not have my key or any details of my return. I then spent 3 hours waiting in the carpark for my keys to be delivered back to me. Given my flight was on time and I followed instructions to the letter, I find this to be totally unacceptable. It caused me a huge amount of inconvenience, and also anxiety as I called your various phone lines multiple times seeking an update. Nobody could give a clear time for my keys to be delivered to the carpark, and many times the line was dead or the phone put down on me. There were many customers who arrived after me and received their cars back before me, so I do not accept any excuses about factors beyond their control like traffic. When the keys finally arrived with a driver, she had no paperwork relating to my booking and most unbelievably she had no carpark ticket for me to exit. Some official Gatwick parking staff informed me to my dismay that they are very familiar with how this lot work, exploiting a loop hole in the regs of their carpark, and that in fact my car never left the short-stay carpark which meant there was a £180 charge on my vehicle to allow me to exit. Only out of their benevolence was I able to pay half that amount, so on top of my original booking price I had to pay £90 to get home. This happened through no fault of mine and outright deception and ineptitude on the part of this cowboy company.
Don’t even know why I’m wasting anymore energy writing this review. The staff at this company are awful, we got left stranded at the airport with a 10 month old baby for 3 hours, no car turned up. Told multiply lies. Laughed at us on the phone. Had to get the train back from Gatwick as no car seat. Still no car. Said they’d drop it round this morning. Can’t get hold of them. Have called the police - which I’m sure they’re laughing at again reading this
Shockingly bad! Not only do they get things wrong the staff lie about it too. Awful, expensive experience. They need to be closed down
Be careful! Skylink.com are the reputable company. Skylink.co.uk could be run better by teenagers. We dropped our car off with them, and something felt wrong in my gut afterwards so I investigated them further. I’d used a comparison website and the reviews looked good, but even this comparison website was dodgy! All the reviews were bad and I spent the entire holiday worrying that I wasn’t going to get the car back. Lucky for us, we didn’t wait long, but I had emailed them in advance by a few days so they had ample time to get it out from wherever it was. I also messaged when we were about to take off, then rang as soon as the wheels hit the tarmac at Gatwick. If I’d waited until after I’d collected the bags, I think we’d have waited a long time. There was a big queue of people and they were all disgruntled and had been waiting for 2 hours from what I heard. Thankfully, our car arrived and we only had to wait in the car park for 15 mins. So we’d already disembarked, gone through passport control and collected bags at this point. I’d say it took an hour to get the car in total, but thankfully it didn’t feel like it because of the steps we’d taken. We checked the car over throughly, and while muddy (inside and out…and in the back passenger seats?! - will come to this), it looks and drives well and didn’t seem to have clocked up much additional mileage. I consider us to have come away relatively unscathed from the situation, however, CHECK FOR VALUABLES!!! My sisters disabled badge is all of a sudden missing…I assume this explains the muddy hand and footprints in the back of the vehicle as somebody was looking for things they could steal. What low-life steals someone’s disabled badge?! Honestly, I don’t think all of the employees are dishonest, some were very polite. Others rude. Avoid, but if already in it, maybe try the steps I did above? Good luck.
No stars !!! Car effectively stolen. Arrived at Gatwick 6pm Friday and no car . 3 hours later I was told to get a taxi home which cost £548. Now Monday and no car . No communication. Calls ignored or simply hang up because nobody will take responsibility. What am I going to do ??? Police say it is a civil matter and can’t help . Am talking to the insurance company now . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER .
0 stars. First off they asked us to drop off at north terminal (even though south was booked). No card or proof of drop off. Called upon bags being picked up to be told 45mins wait for car (with a 5hr drive home to follow). Loads of people at the car park had waited 2hours for their cars and every other one was coming back damaged. Called after 45mins to be told it would be another 20 mins at which point I asked for the location so I could get a taxi over or they could pop me on with someone more senior who could help me - they hung up then refused to take any more calls. We got our car 2 hours later which was muddy. The longest wait was 2.5hrs and that lady was still there when we left as were another couple whose car was returned heavily damaged and dented. A young lady on her own was told they didn’t have her car and that another company must have taken it and one man came back to find they hadn’t moved his car from the short stay space he parked it in. Honestly - avoid at all costs l. Horrible company full of cowboys.
skylink told me to go to north terminal in gatwick but sent my car to north terminal. after 45 min when I called them they said go to north terminal. No apology, nothing. When in north terminal, i noticed they had left the key of my car on the driver tyre and had left!
Gave them 1 star because they don’t except 0. This service is a total scam. My car came back 2 hours late with a dirty pillow in the back someone had been sleeping in my car. They told me complete lies over the 2 hours in the end I said I was going to report my car stolen & it turned up. It was muddy & had done 28 extra miles. Avoid at all costs.
I’d rather walk to the airport two days early in my grandads dressing down than use this company again
Bad experience and would recommend avoiding this company - Car returned dirty (mud) - Car was returned empty tank so they must drive it far away from Gatwick - Had to wait 2 hours with a 1 year old until 3am for the car to be returned - Horrible communication, when we rang for a follow up eta (had already been waiting over an hour at this stage) wife was told 3-4mins away and hung up on, car was still not delivered for another 30+mins - Loads of other people waiting around in the same situation
