One of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. after making the 30 minute warning call the company asked us to, we were still left waiting for a further 50 minutes to collect our car. This is in spite of me making 4 phone calls asking where they were. They ended up ignoring my calls so had to use my partners phone to call and they, unsurprisingly, picked up immediately. We very nearly missed our flight due to the 50 minute wait. Couldn't happen again on the return of our car? you are wrong. After the 30 minute warning call we were left waiting for over an hour with a 2 and 7 year old at 1 am in the morning. Once the car arrived I inspected it to make sure there was no damage, there was a part of our engine hanging off!! The driver had no explanation and couldn't care less. I questioned this and refused to sign the receipt. He ripped it up in front of us, told us to f*** off and left. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! A DISGRACE!
TERRIBLE service. Do NOT use Skylink if you want value for money or to be on time! 20 minutes to drop off and 1.5 hours to collect my vehicle. I waited 20 minutes to drop off keys on departure - very stressful when going to get a plane. If we'd not arrived in good time we could have missed our flight. Staff member was not around. Had to call the company twice to ask where the staff member was. When I eventually found them, they said they'd been there all along behind the stairwell (not where they were supposed to be). Nobody told me where they were they were not looking out for me and nobody had called them to say that I was looking for them. On our return we waited over an hour and twenty to collect my car to go home. Small print says you're supposed to phone them 45 minutes before collection (pointless!). I tried to call them on my arrival, but their main phone number doesnt work and mobile number didn't answer or went to voicemail. After we got through, we waited about an hour and 20 minutes more. We could have taken a taxi home in that time - or we could have taken a shuttle to the long stay or walked to their car park with our luggage in less than 15 minutes. Called three times to ask what was going on and was told that there was traffic. Their car park is 5 minutes away from their airport! When the deliverer finally arrived after nearly an hour and a half, he told us he was late because they had been busy with nearly 100 bookings - nothing to do with traffic! If you can't deliver the service, then dont take the bookings! Obviously. To cap it all, you have to pay your own parking ticket on top of their fee, which takes it to the same price as the official Gatwick valet parking anyway.
Do not use this company have waited over 2 hours from first call and they cannot find my car they are linked to skyLink parking services who also don’t answer phone calls stay clear of this company
When we dropped off the car at Gatwick they made us pay the short stay car parking fee. When we returned, we had to wait over an hour for the car. We had to call them to remind them. On the email is written that they deliver the car 25 to 30 minutes from the first call. This is clearly a lie. You also have to pay to get out. Not sure where they keep the cars. My was filthy on collection.
DO NOT USE!! They have lost our keys, so we had to take a taxi home. It took them 2 hours of us waiting and 80 recorded calls to get them to admit that. Still no car. Reported to the police who already are aware of them.
0 Stars!! The wait for this service is over 1 hour not 30 minutes for both drop off and pick up. It made us rush for our flight out and the point of using this service was to make it stress free. The phone operator swore at me using the f word when chased him after 50minutes and I wish I’d never used them. Utter, utter rubbish….Never again.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I wih I had read the reviews before I booked with skylinkparking as I would NEVER have booked them via justparkme website. Both websites are dodgy. We got our car back on friday 8th to find a big dent in the drivers door of our new car. The driver said he woud report it and told us to call them. We immediately called the number on the collection card card to report it who said there was nothing they could as they were drivers but email. We emailed Friday night but no resonse at all from them. No phone number answers on their collection card or website. Called Justparkme who we booked though and they have done nothing and put the phone down on me. I have emailed them too. We have hundreds of pounds damage and don't want to pay for it ourselves. I have reported to the police. Suspect they will do nothing either. I have used meet and greet companies for twenty years with no problems ever apart from now. Skylinkparking are rogue traders that will carry on causing distress to people who unfortunatly sign up to them. They are a rogue trader and have no idea why someone doesn't stop them trading. I will always check independent reviews from now on. Shame on you skylinkparking.
No stars. I wish we’d read the reviews. I made over 100 calls and it was constantly engaged. We were then lied to before the car arrived one hour twenty minutes after we’d first got through despite being constantly told it was just around the corner.. This company only has one job to save us all hassle and it successfully does the opposite. I will be reporting to trading standards
This company is terrible and I will not be using them again. Most people were waiting at Gatwick for 2 hours to receive their car back yesterday ( some 3 Hours ) . No update or communication as phone line either engaged or no answer .
Awful! Said 25 mins from when you have your bags after calling 5/6 times and being told another 5 mins was 1.40 later! Had a 18 month old baby at 2am and had to wait to 3.45am! Multiple people also complaining we ended up reporting to the police as stolen car as did many others the police said there looking into them! Do not use! There is loads linked to this company so check first before you book honestly don’t do it never had such bad service ever! Any that say to call this number are linked and reported to police. 07707 675611 165 calls made before we got our car back
DO NOT USE!! Told car would be delivered in 45 mins at 17:30. Currently 19:41 and no sign of the car. Rude and terrible customer service. Disgusted.
Like many others today we had to wait well over an hour to collect our car from Gatwick with no apology or empathy from the staff. They were clearly unable to cope with the demand despite knowing how many cars would be coming in and out. This is meant to be a seamless drop off and collection service which it is not as everyone waiting had long delays at drop off and collection. Do not use this company.
1hr 40minute wait…no apologies, just ‘not my fault’… We were told 45minutes to begin with, then when we followed up on 45minutes we were told ‘10minutes’. Hard to get hold of and clearly not a company to book with.
Do not use. Valet parking is supposed to cut out the hassle. We waited over half an hour for the return of our car yesterday evening at Gatwick 7.4.22. Was told by very rude person when ringing that people make mistakes as the driver was at the North terminal not the South. Other people also waiting over 45 minutes for car to be returned. Use another company!
Absolutely desperate service. An hour an a half wait. Told a bunch of lies about the reason once able to get through on 6th attempt. Hung up on me twice. Told battery flat but saw the driver earlier deliver another car who admitted they were short on drivers - he’d been working 12 hours solid and very weary.
2 hour wait for collection. Manager who answered calls incredibly rude. Stay away.
parking ok. Arriving late and paying £15, ok. Asking for a receipt at the time, no chance. Being sent one by email, no chance. Making two phonecalls for a receipt and still, no chance. Emailing twice, requesting a receipt and still no receipt. Just don't trust them to get anything right. I won't be using them again. Advise you to avoid too.
By far and away the worst car parking company at Gatwick, completely disorganised and terrible service. Having called on returning to Gatwick and being told the car would be with us in 25 minutes, we waited over 2 hours before it arrived. Despite trying to call them on numerous occasions they did not pick up the phone and eventually we spoke to one of the drivers and told him we would have no option but to call the police and report the car stolen. As if by magic the car arrived 5 minutes later! I have nothing positive to say about Skylink Parking and will never use them again, pay the extra that others suppliers charge - it is worth it!
This company is the worst on the market. They put cheap parking prices and they don’t come to pick up your car when you have the appointment. I almost missed my flight. You have to call them at least 20 times… and the response is: 10min sir…10 min. After 1 hour of waiting. And when you come back you’re waiting for 2 hours to pickup your car. Even if you call with 1 hour before. This is a joke. I couldn’t get to work today because of this people. This is ridiculous. This is a company named Enigma- Don’t book with them. Very bad experience.
Crooks and thieves. Avoid at all costs Booked to park and ride. Drove to the site. No one there. Lost 30 minutes plus additional 50 minutes waiting time as they changed arrangement to meeting inside car park and this cost me an extra £13 (car park charge) over and above booking fee. On collection I noticed from photo taken before and after of odometer that they had driven my car for 214 miles! The car was also filthy, radio channel changed. When I got home there was a penalty notice for non payment of Dartford Crossing. They are refusing to reply to me despite the gravity of this issue and I am now reporting them to Trading Standards and to the police given the issue is theft. I also notice that in the 13 months since original booking they have changed their company name at least twice - so it is obvious that this "business" is not legitimate or honest.
