Skylink operated under dozens of names. I used Budgetairportparking. On returning at 2am from my holiday I made the call to collect my car. They told me they didn’t have my car, never did have my car. I made in total over 150 calls to the number on the paperwork. I was met with abuse over and over. The police at Gatwick spoke to the company and they told the police they didn’t have my car. Police say it’s a civil matter despite my contract ending with Budgetparking at 2.15am - I expressed that it was now stolen as the contract had ended. Police insisted it was a civil matter. Be warned your insurance company may not pay out if your car goes missing because you handed over the keys! After called the head office of Budget over 50 times and it going to a full answer machine box a woman picked the phone up and confirmed they did have my car. 15 mins later one of the rude men I’d spoken to countless times told me to collect my car after 3pm. I had to go the next day because I needed someone to drive me. It’s a 340 mile round trip. My car was in dirty yard in Crawley. Turns out they have four dirty yards. I was thankful my car was undamaged. I have emailed them dozens of times for reimbursement of the cost of taxis and fuel and they promised me payment. This has not happened. I am in the process of taking them to court. The police are aware of Skylink but to be honest they couldn’t care less. This company is a pop up company and when booking through anyone else - check the small print because Budget Parking is part of Skylink and I wouldn’t have booked with them had I known. My car was missing for two days. A man who left his car when I did - well his car never was taken out of the short stay and it cost him £450 to get his car out. It really ruined my holiday as it has cost me £430 extra in lost work, taxis and petrol - not to mention the stress and the fact I was spoken to like something off the bottom of a shoe. I don’t hold out much hope even though I’m going through a small claims court because they will just shut the business and pop up under another name. Avoid avoid avoid!
Followed the instructions on leaflet to call them when we were collecting baggage which we did, told 30 minutes which was fine, 40 minutes later phoned again and was told 45 minutes no apology or anything when my husband said it that ain’t good enough they hung up and wouldn’t answer again for another 10 rings then was told our car was blocked in so had to wait, eventually nearly 2 hours later our car came filthy and with a scratch on side which we didn’t notice until we got home as just wanted gone after waiting with 4 children all that time, the driver was apologetic as we understand it’s not his fault he just follows orders, other people waiting just as long too for there cars, will never use again!
Rubbish service and I wish I had read all the reviews before booking with these crooks. We called them over 50 times to get them to come and pick up our car from Gatwick Airport 13/05/2022. We waited for over 2 hrs with no one coming, so we had no choice but to leave our car in the Gatwick short stay car park, as we would have missed our flight otherwise. This has left us with a bill for £355 for the parking. I feel quite relieved that the cowboys never showed up and took our car because I feel our experience could have been a lot worse from reading all the reviews. Will look to claim my money back but not holding my breath. PLEASE AVOID THESE PEOPLE AS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. Have reported them to Trading Standards
Poor service on pickup, had to wait over an hour and 15mins to have my car dropped off to me where i was waiting at Gatwick in the short stay car park with no rep or worker there to greet. called the office over 6 times without answer then to be told he will cal back and they never did. I will never use this company again.
After a week of them telling me they couldn’t find my car, the stress and time I put into ringing people emailing people for help (Sussex police will not help). I called the company again and they said “they have my car, I can go and collect it” I live 2.5hours I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got there. At there main compound they had my keys but my car was somewhere else I had to follow someone 10miles to a hotel to where my car was parked. When I asked so speak to manager or an explanation to why my car was not returned to me when I arrived back from my holiday, no one could give me these details. Overall it cost me £200 to get home on a train, £70 in fuel for someone to take me to pick it up. Luckily my car wasn’t damaged and looked like it hasn’t been used but I had a week of hell with no explanation. Another address to go to is RH6 8QG it’s a hotel and they are using the car park to keep car as well. This was where my car was. DO NOT IGNORE REVIEWS, PLEASE DONT BOOK WITH THEM.
Do not use this company should not be allowed to operate waited 35 minutes for car to be collected and had to pay charge in short term car park. Even worse on return waited 1.5 hours for our car nearly twice as long as our flight. This company stinks of incompetence and negligence!
They lost my car keys and didn't know were my car was stored.it happened to 3 other couples while we were ringing around to try and resolve the problem. I was told to take a taxi home lady I don't know were you car is. But I constantly called and the guy at the airport gave us the post code for the office. Just as I was reporting my car stolen to the police,they called and said they found my car and key. We had to make our own way to the yard,but my car and key was there. Crap service will never use them again,3 hours of stress.
NEVER use this company!! Waited over hour for them to collect our car, rang and rang they kept hanging up. Resulted having to pay parking charge of £13 instead of £5. Waited hour and twenty minutes to collect my car, not even an apology, man just shrugged his shoulders, wouldn't look us in the eye. How is this company still being able to run!!!
CAR ABANDONED ON MOTORWAY We came back from Ibiza today, after waiting an hour still no car. Then a scruffy man came up to me and told me my car had broken down on the way to the car park and had to be recovered. After calling the police I was told my car had actually been involved in an accident and was waiting for me in Brighton where I would have to pay £300 for it to be released . COMPLETE SCAM AVOID. I was utterly devastated and thought I was just unlucky , but looking at these reviews we all had the same treatment!!
PLEASE READ THIS......We are giving one star BUT only because there isn't an option to give NO stars! Without going into too much detail our experience was similar to the previous reviews. We ignored some of the reviews - PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!! DO NOT USE THIS 'SERVICE' Briefly we arrived at Gatwick in plenty of time but waited so long for someone to collect our car that we were in danger of missing our flight. After numerous phone calls we were instructed to leave the keys on the front tyre!! We were boarding the flight before it was confirmed they had collected the car. On our return we again made numerous calls, along with other customers (one of whom had been waiting 4 hours!!!) and were told they were not sure if our car had ever been collected from the car park. We were asked to go and look to see if it was still there! Unbelievable!! Eventually after many calls, the car turned up. We would NEVER use this or any similar 'services' again.
Do not use Worse meet and greet there us. Telephoned on arriving back from holiday and was told my car would be there in 20 minutes. After 25 minutes I called back and was told that I never called them. When I said I had all the rude guy said was no you haven’t so I asked if he was going to continue arguing with me and he said yes. What sort of customer service is that. Then had to wait another 40 more minutes for my car. How is this meet and greet. DO NOT USE
Avoid avoid avoid. This company should be banned. Totally inept and you’ll wait forever for your car and not be able to get through to them on the phone. We waited nearly 2 hours from 130am and have heard of families waiting over 5 hours!! They need to be stopped And banned from Google!
Be very careful as these people trade under different names.I waited 1,30 for my car to turn up.then when I did it was covered in mud ( parted in a field) went to complain to the driver .who replied I I just work for them.just to let you know phone for my car to be returned over 60 time
There seems to be some confusion between skylinkparking.COM (the company on this current page which i haven't used) and skylinkparking.CO.UK (which is the absolutely terrible service i used last week and wish i hadn't)! Skylinkparking.co.uk is the worst car parking service and i do believe all of the below negative reviews are for this company, their address is RH10 3PD and the main number given on the email is 07707675611. My experience was similar to the negative comments in that we nearly missed our flight and took over an hour to get our car back and were told to get an uber to their compound at RH10 3PD. I will also write a review on skylinkparking.CO.UK and speak to the comparison website parking4you where i found them as they did not provide any reviews and this is why i stupidly booked them. I would recommend skylinkparking.COM possibly changing your name so that you don't get mixed up with the awful reviews of skylinkparking.CO.UK
I can’t leave a review without selecting a star otherwise there would be no star! Booked this company through ‘We compare airport parking’ as a last minute decision. They’re cheaper for a reason… There are no drivers at the airport to collect your car so you’re left waiting when you need to check in for flight. On my return I followed instructions to call at baggage collection but couldn’t get through as it was constantly engaged. Finally got through to a very rude person who told me I’d be waiting 45 minutes to an hour for my car. I waited longer. I had no idea where my car had been parked but have since learned there is a car park tgey use at RH10 3PD, which is 5.5 miles from the airport. My mileage on return had increased by 48 miles!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Booked this company last week for our holiday next week, decided to call today to check our booking as we never received a confirmation email.. They hung up on us twice! Decided to check Trustpilot and was shocked at the reviews. Luckily this happened today at home and not next week at the airport. We will definitely be making alternative arrangements. DONT USE THIS COMANY !!! couple of joke man😂 theses lot are just money grabbing, saying they lost my car keys when clearly they had them, used this excuse so the police couldn’t do nothing, bunch of scammers.
I am begging everyone please do not use this company!!! They are real scammers, never moved our car from the short stay at Gatwick Airport, which left us with £315 extra charge and lots of distress from calling them dozens of times. They were hanging up the phone in the middle of the call, kept lying about time frame and made us wait for 1.5h after returning to the UK for nothing, as our car was always parked where we left it! Absolute nightmare. Other people didn't even had their cars returned. Criminals!
DO NOT USE, this is a complete scam. Have ended up paying full price for short stay Car park for a weeks holiday (£300) as they couldn’t manage to muster up a driver to take my keys off of me after waiting for 45 minutes. We also phoned nearly 50 times on our journey as requested to no avail. When we got there a returning customer had a car that had been returned with engine management light on and another family had been waiting just under three hours for their car to be returned. Fantastic start to our holiday…. Please don’t use!
