You must be laughing all over your face - it was only when I was logging off after making my purchase that I saw the code for the Black Friday discount!!! Apart from that, I found the process very frustrating - I tried to call you to confirm something I needed to know, but after holding on for about 15 mins and being told I was in the queue and would be answered, I was suddenly cut off. This happened twice! So I have bought the item in good faith still not having an answer to my question!

Ordered a Absco metal shed from Shedstore. The primary reason I chose Shedstore was because they had selectable delivery dates for the shed (I did find it £20 cheaper elsewhere), so I booked a day off work in advance for the date I had chosen. The day before that delivery date I contacted shedstore to make sure it would arrive as I hadn't heard anything since the order confirmation (that included the date of delivery I had selected). They were very nice but told me that because it was a 2 man delivery, I couldn't select a delivery date (I could - and did), and the manufacturer would contact me directly to arrange a delivery date but it wouldn't be the one I selected. I was a bit grumpy on the phone (apologies!) as I've just wasted a day of leave but the lady I spoke to was very nice. I think she did try to expedite my delivery because I had confirmation from the delivery company that it would be delivered a day later - on the saturday which happened to be fine for me. I also checked the shed on their website later that day, and found that the selectable delivery date was no longer available for this model of shed. Presumably I experienced either a fault with the website or they changed it once they realised - either way it was me who lost a days annual leave. On the delivery day I had a call early on to give me a 2 hour slot, so I waited in until that time. I then received another call from them saying they couldn't find my house. Turns out they had completely the wrong postcode and were delivering in Carlisle, 3 hours drive away so it was cancelled and was told delivery would be re-scheduled. More chats with shedstore followed, and delivery was finally arranged and completed the following Wednesday. After delivery I have not assembled the shed yet, but opened the packaging and moved the parts to where I will build it. I was really disappointed to find several of the panels have deep scratches in the paint that go down to bare metal, and the bottom edges of some of the panels are bent. At this point I've had enough of the whole process so I'm going to just try and bash out the dents, assemble the shed, paint over the scratches and move on with my life, so I have somewhere to store my tools and don't have to obsess about sheds ! Proceed with caution.

I had a problem with some items missing, but as soon as I contacted Sam at shed store he informed me it would be sorted.

Not good experience, there is no white glove service - the shed was delivered to the driveway, the driver insisted he cannot deliver to the garden and is not insured to do that. I had to carry most of the wood pieces inside despite bad weather.

I ordered a 10 x 8 shed, they said it would be three weeks, actually arrived in one week. Went together fairly easily, lots of parts which are quite flimsy as individual units, but actually sturdy when screwed together and fixed down to a concrete slab.

Don’t buy this shed. It is flimsy, gaps everywhere, no overhang at the ends, no main spur along the apex of the roof. Am not sure it will withstand a gale, entirely disappointed. The metal fixings are of an appaling quality. The windows are flimsy plastic so we will board it up. Avoid, avoid avoid. Not worth £50 let alone £1k.

Reading reviews on this company I can see that I am not alone in taking delivery of a sub standard shed. A short time after the shed was erected most of the knotholes developed cracks which you could see daylight through, At the same time several strips of the thin featheredge of which the shed is constructed warped leaving large gaps through which the rain leaked in. I was told to fill the knotholes with wood filler and the warped boards might go back which of course they didnt, On calling again i was told I would be sent an email address to send pictures of the problems to.This never arrived neither did a reply to the next email of complaint that I sent. I have had to spend Alot of money on a carpenter and purchase packs of featheredge to rectify the problems. Be very careful about ordering any wooden sheds from this company !
