My first contact with SENsational Tutors Ltd was last year. I was at that time in the process of registering with several different agencies, seeking work as an SEN tutor. Gillian is a wonderfully qualified teacher with a wealth of knowledge. She teaches in the tried and true ways and is also able to reach into her bag of tricks to find new methods to help if kids don't understand the traditional ones. Her experience with many types of learning disabilities helps her try different techniques until she finds the one that sticks. She is always willing to go the extra mile and has offered time and again to go out of her way to make things easy for us. She has also provided loads of learning materials. “We were moving from Switzerland to the UK, and my son Oscar needed a Maths and English boost to be up to speed with the UK curriculum. His main challenge was English writing, but also several areas in Maths. Also it was a private school in London with high academic standards, and they advised us to take a good tutoring before Oscar can join the school. Both Kristy and Vojtech had been great support towards my daughter's home schooling. Kristy not only created study material for her session but made homework and made sure the Care's and LSA are finishing them and doing them in the right way. very good in communication and whenever we requested her to do top up session she had always done them. my daughter learnt many new ways of doing her maths and English. she loves doing the sessions and doesn't get bored at all. V has also been very helpful in giving the right help in finishing the homework made by the tutor. my daughter progressed a lot.

I had been looking for a tutor for my son for about a year without any luck. Although they are based in London, I reached out to Joanna at Sensational Tutors for help and within a week she had found me 3 wonderful local SEN specialist tutors in Sussex. I was spoilt for choice. Joanna was extremely understanding of our needs and requirements and matched us with some excellent tutors - she understood exactly what we needed. She was extremely professional and communicative and supportive. And most importantly, she found us the most wonderful tutor. Our tutor Jo has been working with my son for five months now. He has ASD, ADHD, Dyspraxia and Dyslexia and an approx two year learning delay. He has come along in leaps and strides with Jo. Working on basic literacty and numeracy, Jo has tailored everything to his needs, met him at his level, made the learning fun and interactive - where he was struggling and anxious, he now looks forward to learning with her. Honestly the difference in him is astounding. Most importantly of all Jo has helped him to find a love of learning and to feel proud of himself and what he can do. Jo goes in to see him at school and has seamlessly integrated into his school day and communicates so well with his teacher and Senco too. She is a total gem.

Our most precious of gifts are our children and Ms Gibbs, who runs SENsational Tutors is ... without wanting to sound corny - herself 'sensational'. Her service and attention - as well as insightful matching her Tutors to our needs was perfect. Our tutor - Obeng - for maths for our son - phenomenal at teaching as well as imparting hope and confidence in my child. Could not speak more highly of the service and our tutor.
