Nathalie has been coming to see 2 of my children who both have ADHD and dyslexia. She is an incredible person, so lively, positive, energetic, bubbly and absolutely brilliant with kids, in particular SEN kids. She is patient and understanding and engages them so they want to maintain focus. I couldn't recommend her more than I do, I think she is absolutely wonderful.

We looked for help for our 2nd son, aged 8, who has dyspraxia and signs of ADD, finding all sorts of things challenging that are easy for his two other brothers: e.g. in auditory sequential memory (affecting his concentration/focus), visual-spatial problem-solving and non-verbal reasoning, visual motor integration, problem-solving, etc. We were introduced to Joanna and her team at SENsational Tutors, and in that way found Kirsten, who has been seeing once a week for some time now + it's been a great experience: Kirsten is extremely nice, extremely competent and our son is looking forward to his weekly 90min sessions with her on a Sunday morning. He has gained considerable self-confidence, and I believe is learning very valuable know-how and skills through this work with her. I couldn't recommend Kirsten more highly.

We reached out to Joanna when our son started reception experiencing speech delays, social challenges and attention difficulties, culminating in issues with phonics, reading and concentration. She recommended Francesca, who now works with him weekly. Our son is highly into tanks and all things military, so from the first lesson where Francesca turned up in a camouflage top to every session where she manages to incorporate aircraft carriers, tanks and jets, every lesson is tailored very specifically to retain his interests, ensuring maximum impact. Francesca clearly understands that all children learn differently, she always has new ideas and is quick to adapt if something isn’t working. She’s also supported us with new learning techniques we can work on between sessions. Francesca is full of energy, very reliable and punctual and I would highly recommend her.

Siri is a goddess of teaching! She has honestly changed our lives. Our son George is dyslexic, has dyscalculia, very slow processing and is further muddled by his epilepsy medication. All of this has manifested in a fear of learning, low self esteem and a very short fuse around homework. Siri has taught us all how to address this and manage it. George genuinely looks forward to his time with her, and his confidence is growing slowly but surely. Joanna at SENsational Tutors really listened to me explain who George is and what he needs, and really did find the perfect match for us. We couldn't be happier.

We have been working with Mary of Sensational Tutors for over a year now. Mary has been supporting our little sister, who has learning difficulties, with her lessons at school as well as in developing social and behavioural skills. After searching the internet to find some support for our son who we homeschool, I came across SENsational Tutors. There were lots of tutors to choose from but I felt an immediate connection with Miriam, so I clicked on her lovely photo and as if by magic her description seemed to almost match our son’s needs! I made contact and we had a chat on the phone - I knew early on into the conversation that my instincts were right. Miriam sounded caring and understanding of our needs for our son and she had a genuine interest to help him, and us. Miriam has been working with our son for 6 months now, twice a week, and the change in him has been extraordinary. I call her our very own Mary Poppins as she has not only brought a change to our lives but she brings such happiness and balance too.

Ewa has been my daughter’s tutor for the period of 18 months. Ewa covered a variety of subjects with her, amongst those were: English, essay writing, chemistry, biology and physics, while working with my daughter 4 hours every week. My daughter has additional needs, hence Ewa’s expertise and her support were essential in my daughter’s progress. She has cerebral palsy and she is visually impaired, she is dyslexic and dyspraxic, and has a problem with short therm memory. Ewa’s work was essential and my daughter managed to improve and to catch up with her peers. During COVID 19 and the lockdown, all the lessons were on Zoom and Teams, with interactive whiteboard, live lessons which my daughter found easy to follow. At the time, my daughter was a pupil in one of the independent senior schools in London (age 13-14). I am forever grateful for all her help and support that she provided for my daughter

He’d been hugely struggling at school, so I decided to get a weekly specialist tutor to help him with his reading, writing and maths. My son seems to actually enjoy learning for the first time ever! She has a multi sensory approach to teaching and also breaks the lesson into sections. As a result, she managed to hold his attention and keep him engaged for the full hour. She also seems to instinctively understand when he needs a movement break. Exceptional Tutor Jill from sensational tutors has been working with Isaac since January and he has made excellent progress so far. The sessions we have are an hour and a half each and my son is engaged, absolutely looks forward to it, and even says 'bye bye mama' when Jill arrives! Jill has been working on his strengths and also identifying areas he needs further support with and has been tailoring her approach based on this. I love the homework she sets my son as it solidifies what he learned in the lesson. Overall I am happy!
