awful company, don't reply, unhelpful, make mistakes and don't take responsibility. Suraj however, was a breath of fresh air, helpful, listened and maybe if he had been involved earlier RMS wouldn't have made such a mess of our account

After several frustrating calls I was helped by both Oscar and Tom .... fantastic customer service, really listened to my issues, solved them and made sure I was 100% happy. Oscar always calls back when he says he will and Tom did a follow-up call. Very professional yet friendly service from both of them. Earlier today I spoke with Gaurav Sathe, who was most helpful. We had had problems with our terminal since just after Christmas - and 2 new terminals later was still not working properly . Transactions that I was putting through were all unsuccessful and rejected. It took ages to get through to Retail Merchant Services as was directed around in circles with the automated voice, I estimate I entered my customer ID at least over 10 times! Once I was put through to Gaurav all started going better. He was most helpful and most polite. We had to recalibrate the terminal (if that is the correct expression) , I am not particularly technical so it wasn't easy for me. He was most patient with me in giving me instructions which was appreciated, and we got there! Terminal all up and running again, and thank you so much Gaurav for all your help.

I had several issues which had accumulated over the past few months, I spoke to Shahanawaz who was polite patient and dealt with all my queries efficiently and quickly, he kept me informed all the way and finally checked everything had been put in place, very refreshing to receive great service with someone actually delivering what they are promising. If you need a red flag this is it! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was tied into a 3 year contract, after that I didn't need it anymore because we moved to an app booking system, I gave them 4 months notice in March 22 that I wouldn't be extending when it ended in July 22 & they're now saying that because I changed my bank account details in 2021 that "automatically renewed" my contract for another 3 years and they're asking me to pay almost £3,000 for the card machine until 2024! I've emailed them 5 times since March asking for a copy of the new contract which was never signed, advised that it's completely illegal what they're doing & unreasonable. I've also had 7 phonecalls where I'm told they will send it to me and they never do. Got a letter this week saying pay it within 30 days or legal action, they won't respond to me or provide me with this alleged new contract. This is a SCAM! GO ANYWHERE ELSE! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
UPDATE I have today been sent a new invoice for cancellation of £2681.94. I have asked for an explanation of why it has gone up by £1000 in the space of 3 weeks and no one can answer me. ABSOLUTE JOKE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have ceased trading and rang them to tell them of this and to pay out my contract. I currently pay £15.95 per month +vat i have 21 months on my contract so i rang to pay £401.94. I was told my cancellation charges were £1600. Absolute joke of a company i will tell everyone i know about this company and how they rip people off.
Very disappointing customer service. I have been their customer for 5yrs , i was horrified when they could not even get my email correct. Yet i have to go through all the account verifications. My machine failed on me during new years period 2023, I called RMS several times x5 at least , for the exchange of my terminal . This was necessary the smooth running of my business. This did not happen. I eventually had to cancel my contract after three weeks . I used a card reader as a backup temporarily. I could not take payments, yet RMS took their quarterly rental £44.85 fee and monthly £17.84 for global payments. Now global payments they process your funds pay into your account based in USA , their customer service was always very positive and They were excellent in helping me with annual PCI compliance. RMS have appalling customer service when i first joined them , but some of the staff members are very proactive and helpful, unfortunately they can only do so much . I honestly I think Global payments should be running RMS and their customer services. They seem to lack care and pass query around , no one takes the initiative to replace a machine which as become faulty.
Where is our money?????!!! The payouts take forever to get, like more than a week. Customer service doesn't know why, Elavon says contact RMS, epos has no clue...but they continue to take their payments! I'm so tired of this ridiculously awful system, which could be amazing if someone knew what they were doing.
Excellent service as always from this company. Have been with them for several years and looked around at other companies. They ALL quoted less than RMS and looked very competitive, but once I had read the' small print' they ALL had hidden costs and conditions that were worse than RMS. Change is not always good! Have updated to a GPS machine and everything was done withing 4 days - keep up the good work.
Awful customer service, approached me and sweetened me to cancel my current merchant account, send the cancellation email to the wrong email dress , person called Dean from RMS , I was still receiving invoices from my previous account as never got cancelled properly, try to contact this person so many time , for the last three months very poor communication, and keep excusing with holiday and annual leave for 3 months, have , I still have to pay my previous account now nearly £500 bill ! And this person does not give a xxx what he caused me , when he approached me to save money! Don’t trust their support and services! Machines are bad service it’s awful!

Big promises, unfortunately real life 👎🏻. 2.5 weeks for a new’is terminal. Still the same problem, help line keeps checking problems, no results. Not recommended 👎🏻
