Devices came as ordered but there seemed to be some miscommunication and lack of care in preparing the equipment. I ordered a depth sensor with the base kit which came with a set of various couplers. Because we already ordered the base kit I also ordered a water temp sensor (Hobo V2) to use with the base kit that was ordered with my depth sensor. I asked an agent whether or not I needed a coupler even though I already ordered the base kit which seemed to come with a set of couplers. I was advised to purchase an extra coupler for the water temp sensor, which I found out was not necessary so now I have two couplers and the hassle to return would not be worth it. Additionally, when I looked at the base kit I found a hair trapped in the sensors housing which I cannot open to remove. I feel like a quick quality check before sending out the equipment could have prevented this. I am unsure how the sensors will perform just yet. We've just deployed them and will be retrieving the data soon, hopefully, there are no issues there.

Great for monitoring humidity. but distance connection is not strong.
The equipment works perfectly. However, the people I spoke to were not able to describe the differences in the Hobo Temp dataloggers. The newest logger (Hobo Pendant MX) is supposed to be able to use bluetooth to download data, but no one really knew what format the data would download in or if the format was the same or different than the Hobo Pendant 64K where you use a "shuttle" to download the data. I was excited about the bluetooth capability, but I ended up getting the 64K Pendants since not one person could tell me much about the Pendant MX. Staff should be more knowledgeable about the products
