I have used Onset 4CH analog data loggers and a wind sensor for about 3 years and they are very reliable and cost effective. I have used the analog logger for steam and hot water systems. I have used the logger to measure temperature, current and 4 - 20ma outputs.
The only fault that I don't like is the phone wait time untill I can talk to a representative. The representatives that I have talked with have been very helpful and knowledgeable.
My order arrived quickly and was complete, but I was disappointed that the set up guide was only a QR code to online instructions. In addition, the setup was not intuitive. I'm lucky that I had the assistance of a preservation consultant to navigate the fine points of sample frequency, alarm set up, etc.
