The Pendant works great for use in my open water swimming. I attach it to my swim buoy.

Onset is a great company to deal with. I ordered probes for a project my ecology students are doing throughout NYC and when the shipping date was originally 2 weeks later, I contacted Onset and they got the product to us within 2 days! This allowed my students to get their project going! Great customer service.

Logger works very well. Seems rugged. Wouldn't mind if the temperature sensor was smaller so that it had a shorter time constant and was better coupled convectively to the air. Unsurprisingly, if used in full sunlight, a radiation shield is needed to keep the sensor from heating up well above air temperature.
