Seven days of none stop trying to speak to some one after sending a email on the second day of the fault only to be told your now on fiber and you need latest router. Have been told I’ll be getting one free of charge thank you

My small business had come to the end of its contract with One bill and I had many complaints about the poor broadband so I wanted to change to another provider. I arranged a change and things were set in motion. A days or so later, I recieved a call from a lady called Tabana who described herself as being senior in the Customer loyalty team at Onebill. She told me that staying with them, they would offer me the same thing as the new provider at approximately £2 more per month, but it would prevent any issues with loss of broadband while the change over happened. Tabana clearly stated that i would be paying the £18.99 which is near enough the same as the prover I was looking to change to. When my first bill arrived, the amount was significantly more than promised. After chasing this I was informed that the price promised did not include VAT and an insurance premium had been added for potential engineer call outs! This was not how it was sold and I was told I would be paying £18.99 not £28.99 now. If I had changed over as I had wanted, I would have been paying £16.99 including VAT and no insurance premium for engineers to come out in the event the equipment is faulty! This may seem like a small amount to some, but to my small business, it makes a difference. Especially as the quality of WiFi is shockingly poor! I was missold and will have to pay nearly £400 to exit the contract. Do not believe a word this company say when trying to sell you a package. They are terrible!

Onebill claim to provide first class service for businesses. On a call to them today to follow up on a faulty broadband (50+ dropouts per day) I was asked to buy another router at my expense although they couldn’t be sure the router is the problem. On their instructions I carried checks which determined that there was a line fault but they wouldn’t send an engineer out until I’d checked that the router is not the problem (by buying a new one to see if that worked or failed to work). I didn’t sign up to be their trainee telephone engineer and buy additional equipment that I may not need. If you’re thinking of going with Onebill as a business broadband provider I would say don’t bother. Their service is a joke!
Had notifications that my broadband had been upgraded at no extra charge but when I got into work there was no internet at all and not had any internet for 2days,a new router was not sent out so had to contact onebill and notify them and then wait for the router to be delivered,I was happy with the speed of the old internet why mess with something that’s not broken 😡 big inconvenience to the business
