Very first rate furniture!

We purchased a beautiful Amish-made kitchen table & chairs- fantastic quality, color & look. We had to wait longer for the style of the table we chose but it was worth the wait. Excellent customer service too!

Professional, courteous and customer friendly.

Salesman, Sean, was very helpful in assisting us. The system showed a unit available that was already assembled. When he went to the warehouse to check, he found that not to be the case. The gentleman in the warehouse offered to assemble one that we could pick up the next evening. Pick up was very easy and quick. We are very happy with our purchase.

Our furniture was delivered on Christmas Eve and it is gorgeous! (I even like the stupid throw pillows I thought we would just throw in a closet!) The people who delivered it were professional and friendly and prompt. However, there were a series of issues that led to frustration up to this point. Our salesman made it seem like we would physically have furniture delivered to us within 30 days. (Really sold us on this point --especially since Raymour said it would be at least 6 weeks and we wanted furniture by Christmas.) The furniture was ultimately delivered to OB 34 days after purchase, but we were told we couldn't have it delivered until the 20th....There was also a mistake made when we were initially paying for the deposit and the chair we purchased rang up as $0. We subsequently paid for the chair the next day but it was not included in our original finance plan, so we had to go back to the store to sign more paperwork...we weren't told about this until it came time to set up delivery- and we were told at the same time we could not have furniture delivered until we signed the financing paperwork. Ultimately everything worked out- we received the furniture the day before Christmas and like I said, it's wonderful...My biggest complaint is that no one really offered us anything as a consolation for the inconveniences...It would have been EXCELLENT to hear "how about we offer you a 10% discount on your next purchase" or "let us offer you a free warranty"...instead we just got, "Wow, it does sound like it was a pain..." It wouldn't prevent me from going to OB again or from recommending them. Guess I was just disappointed and was expecting more....

We shopped at many stores in the Capitol District. The Old Brick had the most extensive collection of reclining sofas: several brands and more coverings than any other store. The sales personnel were very helpful & knew when to let us "sit & decide" which sofa we wanted. We did a special order sofa, which arrived sooner than the 6 weeks promised. We've been using the sofa all month and are very happy with it.
