We, (my wife and I and 2 kids) visited Old Brick on 2 separate occasions as we shopped for the perfect couch and love-seat. Each time we were greeted very shortly after entering the store, given some basic and about how Old Brick handles business (sales staff works as a team, not commission driven) then we were left to check things out on our own, with NO pressure. In both cases the staff member who introduced themselves to us followed up periodically and answered any and all of our questions we had, including the ones that the 8 and 6 year old threw at them. We spent more time couch shopping than we did when we bought the house the couch was going in, and the Old Brick staff just continued to be helpful and didn't rush us. Finally, we decided and bought our couch and love-seat. We live in Cooperstown so delivery was a concern of ours. They gave us a great rate. The day our furniture was scheduled to be delivered they drivers called me first thing in the morning, as promised to give me a delivery window, then called me again as promised when they were 30 minutes away. In the time between the first call and the 2nd call we got some unexpected snow and our driveway is pretty steep. I raced home and plowed and salted but it was too slippery for their big truck to get all the way up. Drivers J and M didn't even think twice, they parked the truck as far up as they could go, jumped out and carried my pieces up the rest of the hill. Totally the best furniture buying experience we've ever had. We shopped at some other big name furniture stores in the area and there was a clear reason why we ended up at Old Brick. Thank you!
Picked up order at Warehouse and one chair was the wrong model. Had to return. We live an hour and a half away so not convenient
Very satisfied with my purchase of electric recliner from Flex Steel. Wish it came in a wall hugger but I still love it.

Love my furniture ,however, my two identical club chairs arrived with two different sets of legs. This looked awkward and made one chair taller than the other. Delivery time for items from manufacturer such as arm covers took way too long to be delivered. However, Customer Service at the Albany store was very helpful and accommodating. Salesperson was very helpful, no high pressure. Overall satisfied.
Expected furniture in 40 days max and it arrived much much later than that. No one called to advise us about this. I inquired several times and didn't get a straight answer and no one offered to make it right. It was a disappointing experience.
We walked in, asked where recliners where. We were directed to back of the show room. We knew what we were looking for. We located the chair we wanted and a salesman came over and took the stock number and we went to the computer. He discovered that the color chair we wanted wasn't available until the weekend. But after a couple if minutes of studying the some sales info, he discovered that there were 3 chairs in the warehouse that weren't being picked up till the following week, so he got authority to let us take one of them and it would be replaced before the following week when they were scheduled to be picked up. I think it was about 30 min from the time we walked in to the time we drive off with the chair in our truck. Can't do any better than that in my humble opinion. We always shop at Old Brick. Would never go anywhere else.
We love all of the furniture we get from Old Brick! When I received the call that our furniture was ready for delivery, the administrative assistant that called me was very snippy...and VERY rude about their procedures. I simply asked if I could schedule delivery to ensure the date I needed, and then would come in the same day as the call to pay off our balance. She could have easily said "sorry, we prefer you to come in and pay first", but she treated me like I was an idiot. When my husband and I did go in (that same day) to pay and schedule delivery, we were "helped" by the same woman I talked to on the phone. I use the word "helped" VERY loosely!! She didn't even look us in the eye when talking to us. When we asked if the delivery crew could help me move our old couch to the curb if we paid them (because I'm pregnant and my husband would be working that day), she said "um, I don't know where you've gotten furniture before, but we don't do that." She was rude throughout the whole transaction. "Here, sign this receipt." "Be ready for the deliverers when they come." Etc. We are SO sorry that a rude human like this works for such a great company!!!
Everything comes down to price, options, and quality. They had all of those. We visited several other furniture stores on the same day, took pictures, wrote down prices. Old Brick had quality stuff, several options, and was less expensive.
Shopping at your store is a great experience. I have one request. When the furniture is delivered could your delivery people wear covers on their shoes. We just had new carpet installed in the entire house and they came in with wet snowy shoes. Thank you.
It was the most comfortable purchase without sales people circling me like vultures. Very relaxing atmosphere. The sales associates listen to your needs and fulfill them. The delivery people were very considerate and professional. I would recommend Old Brick Furniture at any time!
We recently moved and needed furniture. We were looking at a chest of drawers that matched our bed. We applied for credit,& were declined. The sales associate kept trying and got us approved.
From the laid back but attentive sales approach to delivery and set up OB made this a great experience. As a business person I didn't have time to fuss with anything and I didn't need to.

The delivery guys were nice but did not clean up after themselves. There was wrapping and black twisties all over the bedroom. Floor.

I bought the Magnolia Manor king bedroom set from Liberty Furniture. It is absolutely stunning. Love, love, love it! The price of the bedroom set was fantastic. In fact, due to the sale that was going on, I had to purchase the bedroom set earlier then I had planned. The purchase process at Old Brick Furniture was pleasant and efficient, as was the delivery. I definitely would purchase furniture from Old Brick Furniture again.
After a few weeks of shopping for family room tables and not finding what we wanted, we happened to drive past the Old Brick store. This was were we found the perfect tables at the right price for our budget. The salespeople were unobtrusive but there when we were ready to purchase. Tables were in stock and we picked up the next day. Easy to assemble.
Delivery expected time was great. Nice delivery person. Realized that they brought the wrong item, delivery person told me to call the sales associate which I did and everything was resolved the same day and the correct item was delivered the very next day. Very satisfied with the customer service and planning to purchase from them again.
