Process couldn't have been easier. Grader turned up and explained things as he got on with the job. He even tried to convince the collection team to get the car within about 5 mins of him finishing things up. All very relaxed and easy.

Sold our vehicle via CarWow. Twice they arranged to collect the car and didn't show up with no communication as to why. On the third occasion a guy turned up. Didn't tell me what the process was, just kept inspecting the car and taking photos so I left him to it for an hour. Finally told me he was clear to take the car. Did a handover and he told me the money would be in my account shortly. Crucially (my fault) I didn't get anything in writing. Car was loaded and taken away. An hour later I saw the chap outside my door. I went to see him but he'd gone, just posting a car key through. Went out to see him driving off, having left the car on the road without any explanation. After trying to contact the main office, they eventually stated that they couldn't take it due to a broken coil spring. The car was taken away and to my mind, sold. Not taken for further inspection (and potentially damaged while away - I had no issues last time it was driven). Based on my experience, I'd recommend avoiding this company. Edit: we weren't supplied with a booking ref no. This was for a black Volvo in Bristol/BS5

Absolute joke, avoid. Bid for my car via Carwow, £468 under THEIR valuation. Fair enough as it was 14 years old and I had listed minor faults with it, partial service history, parking sensors faulty and a DAB fault. Assessor was just a tyre kicker and only doing his job but after an hour of wasting my time, HQ came back with an offer of £300 a full £550 below their initial offer and £1018 below THEIR valuation. Even the assessor said he had never been that embarrassed and his initial thoughts on the car was that it should get £950 without even me mentioning I had accepted their £850 for a quick sale. Car went on ebay that day and got 4 times what they offered me. Lesson learnt, use an established platform not one trying to have your eyes out. Ref:7645464 I await your generic response about how this and that affect the value although all info was supplied. You are merely trying to maximise your profits and mitigate any reduced profits at auction but at least be semi serious about value and not treat potential customers with contempt.

Very simple from start to finish, Chris arrived the time stayed and explained the procedure which took about one hour, Chris was very friendly and professional and was a pleasure dealing with him.

Used this service after a bad experience with a similar organisation, there's no comparison. +1 no attempt to lower the price was made -1 it took an hour to get the T+Cs / confirmation email thru -1 in spite of having provided bank details previously, was not told would have to re-enter them and sign T+Cs -1 had to chase them and took a long time to get thru then suddenly 2 copies of the confirmation arrived, which was disconcerting +1 friendly reassuring service once thru +1 money finally came thru within minutes of submitting form +1 collector was happy to wait until money received before driving away. All in all, it was satisfactory and the guy who came to pick it up was relaxed and convivial. Not a stress-free transaction by any means, but all's well that ends well. Tips: * do make sure you don't release documents, keys etc before money received * be prepared to let them load the vehicle onto the truck before approving payment * refresh your emails regularly to ensure the confirmation comes thru asap
