We have sold a number of cars over the years and know what tyre kickers are like just wanting to reduce your reserve price. Well that’s what happened to us recently with M4YM they purchased it through an online Car wow aunction agreeing our reserve of £9,200. The car was as listed correctly via car wow (who are brilliant by the way) with proof of the last 7 years of ownership & a service history. But M4YM’s tyre kicker tried to say it only has a partial service history even though we told them we had all servicing invoices which we could send them. They then tried to reduce to £8,300 we politely told them to forget it as an insult for what the car was worth. I requested a recording for my car wow listing call and that confirmed I had disclosed everything including the cars service history to meet the reserve price. Car wow kindly put it back into auction on Monday and it again sold for the reserve price of £9,200 the purchaser came and checked it over yesterday looked through the service history receipts confirmed to us it had a full service history, paid the money into our account and drove a well serviced car away. If you sell to these be prepared for some tyre kicking price reduction.

Initially they gave a fair quotation for my car, which was in mint Condition ! I accepted, this offer and agreed a day for an online inspection, which all went very well ! I was then told they would have to do some research on the current market for my car. They did so and then came back to me with an offer £1000 less than originally quoted ! So much for "best prices paid" I took the car to a local car buyer who beat original quote !

Quick, easy and great customer service

Very easy service to use, friendly people to deal with from start to finish. Was honest about the car's condition when advertising and got the exact price originally quoted. From initial video inspection to actual inspection, collection and payment took 5 days (including weekend). Instant payment received before car was driven away.

Found the initial part very slick and eas impressed how easy the process of adding photos and uploading your details were. Was impressed how quickly it sold and the good comms. The experience after that was not so good unfortunately. Can forgive the technical difficulties with the live video feed, that can happen to anyone. There was a long delay then getting a confirmed price following that. I was left hanging on for.some time..the worst experience was.saved till last. Told it would be collected between 9am and 1pm..got a call at 8.45 to say they would.arrive 9.45..left work to wait and by 10.15 phoned to see where they were. The team couldn't tell me. Finally arrived 10.30. No apology or explanation. They didnt give any documentation or id. They then spent time on the phone complaining to their boss about their co-worker. I had their phone thrust to me to confirm they were with me, and they just hung up when i spoke. It was all so unprofessional at this stage that i stated to even wonder if it was a scam. Thankfully the money transfer was straightforward. Would recommend based on initial experience, could not recommend based on later experience. If this part is outsourced would take a good look at this

Fully recommend m4ym. I was offered a fair price via Carwow site. Everyone who I have dealt with was professional and great customer service. So easy a call with an valuer and a quick video of the car. Called me to give me a time to collect and after a 15 min check off the car in person. The money was in my account. They even paid off the outstanding Finance. Highly recommend

I recently bought car from them from dealership they describe themselves car have some issue with pulley or auxiliary belt etc in reality once I picked up car from Manheim Auction after 15 miles of driving car became rough and Lough engine management came up. I have reported within 24 hours they don’t want to know. I asked my mechanic he say need new engine. I would to like say keep away from this seller they are bloody criminal and fraudster

Really good experience selling my partners older Car. Good communication, price was fair and in particular the Inspection/ Pick up was very slick. Speaking to the lad who picked the Car up it seems that this system has recently changed to virtual which worked very well. Dealt with Kat who was patient and laid out the process in simple terms, which was much appreciated!
