I have been dealing with Macfarlane for years. We used to receive an email confirming an order & another one when shipment had been made - these do not happen now & that is frustrating. if you are busy you rely on these emails to give you confidence that the order is in hand & being dealt with.

I can't compliment this company's customer service enough! I made a small purchase of some boxes from them online and, as I'd miscalculated the size that I would need, I had to return the boxes. Debbie from Macfarlane packaging contacted me to ask what was the problem and if she could help. She was as good as her word and helped me over the next few weeks to source boxes that were not only the right size but which were also secure enough to post my chocolates without them breaking. In total, the company sent me three different sample boxes to try and kept looking for different boxes that they could source for me that would meet my needs. Once I did find a box that worked they worked out a fantastic price for me. There was a slight confusion with the delivery dates for the boxes and once again the company phoned me directly and were really helpful and sorted it out. I've been so impressed with them...I'll definitely be recommending them and using them for all my boxes in the future.

Quick and no fuss
We was sent an email with tracking details of all of our 4 parcels being sent out. Two packs turn up one day then the rest arrive 3 days later. With no explanation once again. The courier they use is Yodel, they are rubbish. Driver could not read our address correctly !

All ended well, but there was no way of communication outside 9-5, so when the incomplete order arrived at 6:45pm I didn't know what to expect. Next day arrived the rest, and was left with neighbours.
