First of all, the rep at Sam's lied. I told her that I have been with TXU only and no one else. I told her my bill has been $177 a month and that's the highest I have ever paid and can she do better? She said of course we can....(sucker). My first bill was approx. $196. My second, third and fourth bill have been over $200 and the bill I just received is $259.00 The scam is they tell you nights are free (BS) I keep my house at 84 friggin degrees during the day and turn it down to 80 degree when it suppose to be free. I would like for them to tell me how in the hell it has jumped so high from TXU. I NEVER paid a $200 electric bill with TXU and I kept the thermostat at 80 during the day. 78 degrees at night or lower and ran a small window unit during super hot days for my Alaskan Malamute. By the way, their rep told me if I was satisfied, she would make sure I wasn't charged a penalty fee....another lie.

Customer service representatives disconnect your line to get you to pay more for rates and service charge. Meanwhile, they do not help you to resolve intentional overcharge problems. Customers need to take care of their problems.

Signed up 3 homes I own at Sams Club Feb. 8, 2019, this is Sept. 10, 2019. The young girls there assured me Just Energy would send me 3 $45 Sams Gift Cards, one for each home I signed up with. I have called customer service a couple of times to be assured they were ion the way " 4 to 6 weeks " they would say. 4 to six weeks have passed long ago both times, I wrote customer service on their site on " customer service ", no reply. I beginning to think " Bait-n-Switch'ed " !

Signed up at Sams with this nice young man! I take advantage of my free nights and now my bill stays under 100! Mind you I have a 3 bedroom house.

I have been with just energy for about four years. Everything was good until I found out I have stage 3 breast cancer. My service was disconnected last month for non payment because while going through chemo you have to pay for your treatments in order to stay ALIVE. I had to go back into sergury and by the time I got released from the hospital my service was disconnected again. I called just energy and informed them that I could have the money to them Friday and could place my debit card on file for payment and asked if my service could be restored. However the manager told me that the system would not allow them to issue a connection w/o payment. I thought just energy was for it's customers especially when temperatures are 99 to 100 degrees in Texas. I will be looking for another service provider. If just energy treats their customers like this when they are fighting to stay alive then I cannot do business with them.

I signed up at Sam’s and was told I could cancel at anytime if I was not satisfied as long as I called in and noted it on my account. I kept the service for 3 months and decided to cancel because free nights was not working for me. The rates are ridiculous if you don’t use as much during nights. I’ve never paid so much in my life. I called and they tried to offer me a supposedly better rate for me which was also ridiculous at 14 cents. I declined and finally got them to note on my account. My last bill of course included my exit fee that I was promised would be waived. I had to call these people over 5 times until I finally got someone to help me and remove the fee. I check online for my last bill and they removed the $175 exit fee, but charged me the $150 fee they paid to have me switch over to their service. The lady that signed me up never mentioned this, but it is in the contract so my fault for not reading the fine print. Total rip-off. I’m now signed up w a company paying a little over 8 cents per kw.

I was in Sam's Club and a pretty little girl approached me and gave me their spiel. Told me that their price was 11.9 cent per KWH including the Oncor charges, with no base charge,free nights, and no exit fee. Sounded good, so I decided to try it. She wrote the information out on a Just Energy card for me. The next month when I got my bill, it showed 17.8 cents per KWH. I called in and complained. They told me I had signed a contract showing 17.8 cents per KWH. It was an electronic signature, not mine. I reported to the PUC of Texas. Be careful what you sign, and read everything before signing. These people are Scammers! Don't trust them!

I changed from the rate shield elite plan to a nights free plan. The EFL states the 2000 kwh will be @ 14.2cents, it's being charged at 20.4cents. With a note at the bottom: "Please note that your Energy charge has changed by .013063/kwh." On my bill it's a $147.00 difference. No notice, no reason just a small note on my bill. Very dissatisfied with this issue. Now let's see what excuse I'm given.

This stupid company mislead me like many of you. I was promised a $45.00 Sam's gift card and NEVER got, no one wants to own up to it, I'M ANGRY!!! I still have the flyer and it's a just energy plan, but no gift card. I'm sick and tired of LIARS!!! Don't enroll with these scam artists, I've warned you.

Worst company ever. Door to door agent sold me their service. Was to take over my account on 8-8 when my current contract ended. they took over on 7-22 and therefore I have been billed a $135.00 early termination fee. I was quoted 10cents per kwh got the contract in the mail was actually 20.2 per kwh. Liars. Liars. I am still working to get my $135 back. incompetence. My case was escalated and some one was to contact me with 48 hours--that did not happen either. Then was told they need 3 more days. I waited still nothing. A Cheryl Privee was to call me back by 5:30 yesterday. Guess what still nothing. I have emailed them again. No response. I have reached out to my local TV station for help. I will be contacting my attorney need be. Run run run away as fast as you can. Scammers!

Sounds good but it’s a total rip off. I was told I could cancel at any time without a charge. I’ve tried to call a number of times and just get the runaround. Submitted request now two times via email requesting service to be canceled and still waiting. My bills more than doubled every month! I’ve only had them about 4-5 months but there is no way I’m paying their outrageous charges anymore. My bill more than doubling is not at all how this was pitched to me.

I just realized that I am paying two companies for my gas bill and I somehow I was talked into this. My bill has more than doubled. I called today and asked to cancel my account. The customer service rep told me to call back tomorrow and make sure that my account was actually closed. I cannot afford to be scammed. Things are too tight as it is

I signed up through a 3rd party for Just Energy ( my first big mistake ) I was quoted 9.2 per kilowatt hour and no base charges. When I received my first bill it was 11.01 per kilowatt hour and all of the base charges. I filed an “ investigation” through them and they said I would hear back in 5-7 business days, never heard from them. I called and endured very long hold times. Finally spoke to a young man who said he would send me documentation by email that I would not be accessed a cancellation fee for leaving Just Energy. They never sent the email. I called back and spoke to someone in the retention department who then told me that they never send these kinds of things out on an email. Unbelievable. How do you run a company that doles out so much misinformation? I am now waiting to hear back from a manager in one hour. I have a life sized picture of this happening... I have as of today, gone back to my previously company Reliant, who I never should have left, they do what they say they’re going to do. If I hear anything from Just Energy about my having to pay ANY cancellation fee, I will take them to court. I have the money to do it and I will do it just to make my point. Do not, do not, sign on with this inept company, if you do you will be so disappointed.

Been with them for almost a year, I only got them because they didn’t ask me for a deposit when trying to connect, but I regret it sooo much !!! I live in a small 2 bedroom apt and my bill is always more than 120$ !!!!! Does not make sense since I’m the type of person who bearly has the lights on, and I live with my two baby’s WHO CANNOT REACH TO TURN LIGHTS ON!!! I used to have a different company and at that time I would have lights on 24/7 and never payed more than 80$! But now that I take care of my energy and come switch to Just Energy mi bills are over the roof! I’m already looking into switching to another light company because this is RIDICULOUS!

Sales person never give you correct information, using Socal GAS and then sales just come to your house saying they give you better rate bla bla bla......... they never mention socal will charge you transportation fee which makes the total lots higher than buying from SOCAL..... so many trouble. Should I just kick out all the sales from now on?

I had no intentions on being a customer. I did not enroll but because they already had my bge acct number, I was billed. I called to cancel and file a complaint. Nothing was done until I called the commision of public service and even then they said the call had nothing of me saying I did not want to enroll, which I am furious about. Im a struggling intelligent nursing student and mom or three why would I enroll to make my bill higher. This is a true testiment to the type of company they are. #Moneyhungry #Rippingoffthe littleperson

I been with just energy for 4 years I’m about to get myself out of this service real soon find me somebody else to go through u can’t good service if u going be a few days late they want charge u just being late in I feel like that’s not right

The service was fine while I was a customer, but after changing providers, they continue to try and double collect the last payment. They also tried to charge an early termination fee, when I ended the service on the date that my contract was up. Really screwy company to deal with.

I’ve been with this company 2 years and for Some strange reason my payments are posting to the wrong account repeatedly consistently I shouldn’t have to pay you and call each month to tell you how to post a payment accurately How hard is it to post a payment to the correct or active account?????? When I call it takes 90 minutes per call to have the money moved and repeat in 2 months. Asinine. It’s time to disconnect Just Energy
