Worst company ever! Tried to make payments on my grandmother's bill got nothing but the run around. I called and asked for an extension which the company granted. Paid it through Walmart and they claimed they did not receive it. I then called money gram to see if maybe they dropped the ball. I provided the reference number and sure enough it was confirmed that just energy received it. I then made a payment using my credit card, which at this point is a double payment, and the representative still said that the payment was not received. I live in another state and her electricity is off while all this is going on. DON NOT, I MEAN DO NOT EVER ASSOCIATE WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!
If you want to get ahold of them, call the 18665878674 and navigate to ENROLL with them. That's the only way to get ahold of anyone there. I was able to cancel this morning by calling and pressing the buttons to enroll. No one will answer if you select any other option.
When I joined they told me there was a 24 month contract but the fee for switching was waived for club members. I switched in my 24th month and guess what? $175 early termination fee was on my last bill. I pay for my membership at Sam's club and you would think that they would watch out for their customers.
It’s a high pressure scam. They sent someone to my apartment saying the partner with AT&T and that is a lie. After the man made small talk with me and said that I could try it out as a trail run he then had someone call me as I was signing papers and she went way to fast on the phone throwing me off. Needless to say as soon as that guy left I canceled it and sure enough the person said I was already signed up for it thank god the person on the phone cancelled it. It’s a scam people take my word for it. Do not sign for it . I would give zero stars if possible. Don’t sign don’t do it.
You would think that Sam's Club for which I pay a membership would keep crooks like Just Energy from selling their snake oil in their store. The sales girl made it clear that the price would not be noticeably different in my bill. She also promised a $40 Sam's gift card. My bill more than doubled last year's bill for each of the past 2 months. I called SEMCO and asked why my bill was so high (when last year we had a polar vortex and it was much colder) and I was told that SEMCO was charging .18 per therm and Just Energy was charging .44 per therm! So, even though it's been much warmer and I've used much less fuel, my bill still almost doubled. When I called to cancel, I was told it would take two billing cycles to end the service.
My name Isaac, I’ve been with Amigo Energy (Just Energy) going on three (3j years now. I was late on my do to an unfortunate event and then the Covid-19 pandemic followed. Amigo Energy/Just Energy disconnected my service and closed my account all together after I made at least a dozen of calls to rectify the issue. I was placed on hold and dropped from the call 7 of the 12 times I called to speak to someone. Amigo Energy/Just Energy is an unethical company and I have since filed a complaint with the Public Utilities Commission of Texas. If we all get together we could file a class action lawsuit against these con artist. I know that they are not in compliance with state and federal regulations because I didn’t see an up to date license on file. We must learn to take our enemy out and show them who has the real power.

Hello, Today, on my way out of the grocery store I was approached by two representatives who talked me into signing for Just Energy services. I received a signed contract via email. It had an account number and rep's name. However, this account number came back as invalid when I tried setting up an account on Just Energy website. I called Customer Service line and was on waiting for about an hour. No one responded. Subsequently, I sent an email to Customer Service asking to cancel my subscription/account. Company's social media rep, please contact me to resolve this issue. The service has not started yet on my account and based on what I have experienced so far I don't want to proceed.
Man....I signed up with this company about two month ago. I think that was a big mistake. My bills is twice what i used to pay from the other company i was with. Been Trying to reach someone from customer to switch to a better plan. Can't get a hold of anyone.

This is the worst company ever. They completely screwed me over and I have No way to get ahold of them, I have called their “customer service” line almost every day for the past week trying to cancel my services and they just leave you on hold, I have tried emailing them and no reply. Do not sign up with this company they are a fraud and a HORRIBLE company. I am so mad.
This company is HORRIBLE! They transferred us to another company (Thank god), but Just Energy has continued to bill us even though we are NO LONGER their customers. I’ve been on hold for 45 minutes and have yet to speak to anyone. Also, our new energy company said that we were being billed 2x the amount of their average customer. Just Energy is making it impossible to get a hold of them.
Just energy is the Worst energy service in USA because they increases prices every month and high rate.worst customer service. An agent are lier at sams club please be aware from them. Cancellation takes three from the date you cancelled. You lose lot of dollars for no reason.
Update 3/10/2020: I see Jonathan responding to everyone here to "direct message" him with your details. But where can I do this from this site??? There is no direct message option here. I made a call to PG&E to see if they can just cancel your stupid up charge, they said they couldn't and guess what they also told me, they said my contract with you guys was canceled Feb 2019. That's over a year ago and yet this company has been charging me this whole time! So since I can't get a hold of any of these schmucks over the phone, I used their online contact form to submit what I was assuming a ticket. Don't know what was I hoping for, cuz this was six days ago... SIX days and still no response, this is using their OWN online contact form. Shouldn't it queue a ticket on the backend or something?? Is there not enough customer reps to resolve these tickets?? Instead they have a "Social Media Advisor" on this site trying to do damage control. Let me ask you something Jonathan, if I can't even get a hold of anyone from your service center AND your online contact form doesn't seem to do diddly squat, how would a "Social Media Advisor" be able to do anything? How bout you "advise" a decision maker at your company to take a look at all the 1 star reviews on this site and do something about that. I'm sorry this is your job, but your company is a fraud. Won't be surprise to see these types of companies that relies on scamming ordinary folks be the first to go bankrupt in a recession - oh wait a minute we're on the cusp of one. So there is that I can look forward to. Original post: This company is a fraud. They came knocking on our door last year selling their "service". A dude wearing a yellow vest talked to my wife and convinced us to sign up. The pitch was if we paid a monthly flat fee of $37.99 and remain under a certain threshold, our gas bill would be much lower over the year vs what we have currently, which was paying for what we used. DON'T FALL FOR THIS BS. We signed up during spring and paid the monthly $37.99, we didn't use gas that much in spring our entire bill was pretty much the up charge from Just Energy. Winter comes around and I'm thinking great now it's a flat fee. WRONG! I was charged the same rate for the amount of gas I used PLUS this friggin $37.99. I called in Dec 2019 to complain about this and the rep over the phone told me she understands my frustration and will cancel the plan, but it would take about 1 - 2 billing cycles for it to be removed from my PG&E bill. I thought okay, they just want to milk me a bit more, whatever I'll let you have the $70 just cancel this ridiculous bill. Now it is March 2020, I STILL have the same friggin charge on my bill. Have you guys tried calling their customer service? You're put on hold for 1+ hours only to get transferred to another department that transfers you back to the main menu. This company is a fraud.
I keep getting calls from this company, saying I owe money yet I've never heard of let alone would ever deal with these ppl. The calls come EVERY DAY! MANY TIMES A DAY! I block the number and still they change numbers and call. I have called back and requested my number be removed and get attitudes, nasty responses, hung up on and the last one a person called and left me a voice mail heavy breathing and ends singing... I shared that one with my husband and Sprint.. since he works for them. I'm online right now trying to find a way of bringing A LAWSUIT AGAINST THESE PEOPLE! I am beyond tired of this.
I have tried repeatedly to get someone to answer the phone or respond to an email. Neither works. Stay away from the company.
A scam. Now passing thirty minutes on hold. Also have requested call backs. They supply both my natural gas and electricity. Wowsa. Im sitting in front of a gas bill for 441.99 and an electric bill of 292.15. Keep in mind it’s been a mild winter for Chicago. My electric rates almost quadrupled and my gas rates doubled. I’ve requested numerous call backs and decided to just bear down and wait on hold for a response. Same results. If they don’t respond soon my attorney will be in touch with the Illinois commerce commission, among others.

I signed up for Just Energy at Sam's Club and was informed that I WOULD NOT see a difference in cost .. so why not?? Then I got letter stating Just Energy is NOT available in my area. Oh well ... is what it is. TODAY I receive a bill showing Just Energy gas charged me $ .4758 and that SEMCO is only $ .182 ...SERIOUSLY... so I'm charged an extra $100 for my bill. WILL be calling both SEMCO AND JUST ENERGY TOMORROW and I will be stopping into Sam's Club cause they were there last weekend CONNING people
Just recently signed up for this company 2 days ago and I wish to cancel but every time I try to call they just keep me on hold. I’m currently on hold as I’m writing this, 25 minutes so far. I spoke with a representative online and they said someone would call between 3-4 but now the representative won’t even answer me. If this is how the customer service is handled at this company, I don’t want any part of it!!!!
