Wasn't to sure about the company at first as I have never heard of them before but the item I ordered sent it with this company to deliver from NSW Sydney to me in brisbane. I didn't know when delivery was gonna be so I emailed and got a reply saying they don't monitor them anymore and that was very late at night to wake up this morning to an email saying my package had arrived in Brisbane this morning and would be delivered today was a bit worried as I live in a complex and deliveries are a bit hard to get in here but the driver came to my door and even carried my boxes into my garage so thank you to Les for replying to my email and the guy who delivered my package very carefully as one box was fragile. Even the coronovirus happening these people are still working through trying to deliver even with delays and risking them selfs.

Appalling service, rude and slow. VIP couriers did not meet time frame either. Running a business for twenty years I depend on an efficient courier service and this one does not deliver.

I like to always share positive reviews and never write bad reviews publically unless they are really really bad!!.... I wish there was a way to give less than 1 star as they don't deserve even 1 star. We had a delivery 2.5 months late. Granted unfortunatley the company we purchased the item from went into administration so the whole process was a bit disrupted. However I gave specific instructions for the courier company to CALL me to arrange delivery. This was a large solid bookcase, i live in a high rise apartment in CBD when we receive large deliveries firstly I need to be at home not at work, i need to notify the building manager and pay and book a lift for larger objects to be moved into the building, as well I cannot lift a heavy bookshelf so i needed to ensure my partner was home to help. Just a few things to organise, hence the reason i wanted to be contacted to arrange a time to accept this delivery. After not hearing from either the courier company or the retailer for 2 months I requested a refund of the product. Last week, i received the bookself and it could not have been a more poorly managed process by Hunter Express. I did not receive any communications at all that the item even existed, let alone was going to be delivered. I didn't receive an email, a tracking number, a phone call a text NOTHING. The delivery driver used my intercome to contact me in the unit. Luckily i was home, but not for good reason. Due to COVID - 19 myslef and my partner were in mandotory self isolation (the only reason we were home during a weekday). The driver said i have a "big box" to deliver to you. I said ok leave it at concierge as i cannot come down. I am in self-isolation. He replied that he was the only one and that he needed help to get it off the truck, i said again i am in self isolation i cannot help, he is welcome to ask the concierge as they have assited with other packages while we are in self isolation. he hung up on me. A few minutes later he buzzed again and said he can't leave it with concierge. I called concierge to see what was happening downstairs. Luckily the concierge on duty was very helpful and said it was a bigger item and he will ask the delivery driver to bring it upstairs. The concierge was seriously inconvenienced by this whole thing as he had to arrange a trolley, clear & hold a service lift (which luckily was available), arrange access through the back of the building and assist him. Once the delivery finally got up to my level the delivery driver Was not on his own there was another Hunter Valley employee with him helping (so he was just being lazy before, surely two of them can get this item off the truck). And ALSO DO NOT describe a 6 foot tall solid bookcase as a "big box" to deiver!!! IF I was not home and our concerige was so helpful (others are not) they would have had to take the item back with them. I would not recommend anyone to ever use this company they were very unprofessional, lazy and inconvenient.

Extremely disappointed in Hunter express. Package was delivered to Traralgon on 1st of April and today is the 6th and when I track parcel,no movement. I paid quoted postage and was contacted to say I needed to pay more postage, which I immediately did, and still no delivery. My tracking no is XQ136910. I will never use Hunter express again

If I could give this company less than one star, I would. I ordered a bed frame and mattress on January 15th, it's now January 31st and I still do not have my items 16 days later. To add insult to injury, one out of the four boxes in the consignment arrived today, with the other three missing in action. Tracking the consignment indicates that it has been delivered in full. I'm now required to chase up my own property that should have been delivered in one go. I cannot fathom how in the year 2020 a business with a singular function, to deliver items can fail on so many levels. Hunter express are an embarrassment and I will be boycotting them and any business that chooses to use them in the future. I'm purposely not choosing to to disclose my tracking number here because I'm confident I'll just end up going in circles like any attempt at following anything up with this enterprise.

Good experience receiving from QLD BNE to NSW SYD. 180kg item worth $4500 received safely on 4th afternoon (estimated 3-5 days). XV173000 is the consignment number and the status is Held in Depot / RUN 24/FS I have been trying to track the courier. the status does not tell anything clear. It's so frustrating. I am not sure why the Lost Design society chose hunter express. I have been waiting for my parcel since forever. I work 5 days and I need to get in touch so that I know when I will be receiving my parcel and I can take a day off.

I was a bit worried after reading the reviews but I ordered a bed frame and the shipping was fast considering it was to a regional area. I'm still waiting on a mattress but tracking provided a date for the job order (10th) and it was updated that it was sent that day. The delivery driver was fantastic and brought heavy items inside the door. Great service all in all!

DONT TRUST at all costs!!! No communication lose parcels still no communication customer service phone operators rude and don’t care about the company. Ask a question! wow look out you copped really unprofessional emails.

Very poor timing on delivery. Was given a tracking number: NI055022, but doesn't help me in the slightest. You'd think a purchase from the same city would only take 2 days at the LATEST for delivery, but I've been waiting 6 days now. Still hasn't arrived! Not impressed.

Hi, I have been tracking my order states and it says that my parcel has been Held in Depot / RUN 6, but I will leaving Sydney for two months and therefore not be able to receive my parcel after 12/12/2019, so I just wondering that if you could make it deliver to me before I leave? If you can't make it, is it possible for you to keep it and deliver my parcel later after I come back? As it said that the estimated transit time is only 1 - 2 Days, and it's already overdue. Ordered from 4WD supacentre Brisbane to arrive in Adelaide. Ordered a swag got 2 free items extra. Ordered 26 December and item arrived at depot on 29 December. A whole week went by and they scanned it at the Depot on 2nd 3rd and the 5th December. I rang them on the 4th to say I will pick it up as it has been there for nearly 6 days they told me it wasn’t ready but I could pick it up on Friday 5th just wait for a text message. No message so rang today Monday 9th December only to be told the two free items are there but the swag is missing. I have had such a run around the worst experience ever with a courier company. Now they are doing a investigation and once they are ready will email the 4WD supacentre to say they haven’t received the swag. Where they told me they sent all items together. I am so angry how incompetent they are. I’m wishing I went into the Adelaide store to purchase now. I have seen all the bad reviews about this company can’t understand how they are allowed to operate. The good reviews are probably from people who work there tracking number is OJ090778 in case someone wants to actually do something about this but doubt it

So initially I was completely stressed out about not being able to contact anyone, well the wonderful staff have been brilliant and prompt with getting our delivery sent to me asap, thank you so much guys for being accommodating and the beautiful customer service skills. I would gladly go through hunter express again.

Worst courier ever encountered. Package hadn't arrived after 10 days so after much difficulty was able to speak to someone at Hunter Express who advised unable to find it but would "review video and phone back". They have advised this 3 times now and not called back once in the subsequent 2 weeks. This is a large rug not a small easily lost item. Thankfully the supplier is sending a replacement. If there is anyone at Hunter who pretends to care the connote is XV162880 received by you 8 Nov, and still missing.

I think that these days it is important for transport companies to advise recipients as to how they will contact them. Most people would expect a driver to ring the doorbell as I did. This was not done a call to my mobile was placed, which i missed by a minute, I tried to call the number, it is set for immediate divert, texted the driver, no response, by the time i got out the front (2 mins after the call) they were gone. Now I have to send an email for re delivery, which will take a few days to organize I expect, and then I have to go through the same thing again. there are transport companies out there that have procedures in place that make them fantastic to deal with. Ordered a cabinet from Tommy Swiss who hired Hunter Express to deliver it. They attempted delivery once (without giving notice), then did not leave a calling card. The second attempt started with them texting us in the morning asking us to get in contact if we would not be home. As we were not, we tried calling them- multiple times. Their automated service sends the caller around in circles to no avail. When we finally got through to someone and informed them we would not be home, they said it was 'no problem' and that they would reattempt the next day. Guess what? They not only did not reattempt delivery the next day, they also claimed we 'refused' the package. Now, my package is stuck in god knows where with Hunter Express not picking up the phone, and Tommy Swiss saying they will charge me $50 as a 'cancellation fee' of a package I never received. Utterly ridiculous. Do not use Hunter Express, and boycott the businesses who do. Tracking VV377044

Consignment NI046569 Tracking indicates 'carded' but no such card was left in the mailbox nor anywhere else. It does seem like it should be straight forward and simple. Frustratingly so. Then again with no card there is no evidence delivery was attempted. Going through seller to see if they have the contact details that would be visible on the card if one had been left.

I ordered a bed to be delivered via homewares 360. I contacted them as soon as I ordered and they advised I would receive information from hunter express as soon as it was dispatched.I did not receive my tracking number or dispatch notice from hunter. homeware 360 emailed me the day after to tell me it had been dispatched. I advised them that I would have to take time off of work to make sure I was home when it was delivered so it was important I was notified. They contacted me to say that hunter express had put it out for delivery today and sent me an SMS. They did not send me an sms! I spent all of my credit trying to call the contact centre. i topped up more credit and then sat on hold for 20 minutes, no answer. I needed to speak with someone, ANYONE who could advise me what time to be home. please help me sort this out. I do not have a bed and cannot afford to take time off of work unless I know my mattress is going to be delivered. consignment number BC102510

A Package with no update for 10 days. I have a package sent on the 14th November from Melbourne - it is in Sydney overnight and then nothing for 10 days. Tried calling and just get voice messages which takes you circles - and then what ever option you chose you get directed to the seller. As with the other reviews zero customer service as you have no contacts to talk to. Other courier companies you can at lest talk to someone not Hunter Express. The tracking number is NI040868
