Purchase from Sydney to Brisbane, parcel got to their Hemant depot (on the opposite side of the city to us,) in a couple of days, BUT that’s where it stayed, 8 days later still ‘on hold’, only contact is a call centre who were clueless, when I asked for an ETA, after a couple of calls, was told “when there is enough deliveries out your way”, attitude was couldn’t careless, how ridiculous! We are a suburb of Brisbane 30 mins from the depot. THE WORST DELIVERY COMPANY I’ve ever had to deal with in over 30 yrs. Don’t believe the ‘fake’ reviews or website promises, they have NO idea what customer service is. Only way we could get our item before another weekend, was to pay 4 motorway Tolls round trip to pick it up ourselves!! So...I join with the long list (going back many yrs to the present time), of negative experiences, will NEVER use again.

My package was supposed to take a few days but it's been almost a month and neither hunter express or the company I purchased from will engage, communicate or update. Seems almost like a scam.

This company is so unprofessional. Tried calling several times - finally got through was guaranteed that the delivery would be made in the next 2 days. No delivery - finally got through again after several tries - after message bank said - message bank full cant leave message. Spoke to a lady who was very rude as she had been receiving lots of complaints about deliveries - go figure. The excuse for non delivery was - other person forgot to put the package out for delivery. Now have to wait until after the weekend - may be delivered Monday - but no guarantee. They have had the package since 2/8 - website says out for delivery 11/8 - it is now 20/8 (status never gets updated) - they claim they tried to deliver but no-one home - no card left - no contact made - the delivery address is college in central Syd with over 100 people living there ! After referring to me as "honey" the lady on the phone when I questioned why it had taken so long - and why it could not be delivered today as it was a fault at their end - hung up on me - worst customer service ever. Don't use this company - unfortunately the person we purchased the goods from has used this company - bad mistake - there is no way of contacting them but via phone number that you are luck if you get answered.

My wife Denice ordered a Takalo beige & ivory textured tribal rug at a cost of $535.50 on July 22/2021. Money debited from our account immediately. It would appear that the rug has "slipped through the cracks". ABSOLUTELY no communication from the freight company HUNTER EXPRESS has left a us feeling upset and concerned as to the whereabouts of the rug. Paul Barnes.

Very difficult system. Item picked up in Alexandria 2015 coming to 2018. Basically a suburb away. I do understand that systems are in operation and I also understand that delays are inevitable currently. However, your website does not offer adequate information e.g. what does "Run 6" mean" "Held in depot" What depot? Your site says an item can be picked up from the depot. How? The item was picked up by you on July 30th. Scanned in Tuesday 3rd and now could take two weeks to get to me. Extremely poor service. Connote XV360016 Impossible to actually speak to anyone and no email address. Do I have any chance of getting this item before I age any further?

Retailers should avoid this kind of companies. There is no way to talk to anyone through their customer phone line. It sends you to multiple automated messages rounds and rounds. I don't understand what kind of customer service is it.

On the 26th of May I received a shipping email from the company Luxo Living (which is another company I am NOT impressed with) reporting my bed frame and sheets where being shipped with Hunter Express. I checked the tracking information at 9:30am 28th of May where there was no update. I then arrived at my new property, this morning, 29th of May to see the entire bed frame and sheets, LEFT OUT THE FRONT of my new house "hidden" behind some bins. I checked the tracking information and it then told me it had been delivered yesterday. I received NO phone calls, NO emails about the bed being delivered. If I didn't go to my new house this morning the bed could have been stolen or it could have been stolen overnight. We paid $98 for shipping and this is the communication we get - absolutely nothing.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ZERO. Package was marked as a 2 day delivery, 7 days later still no delivery, can't talk to anyone on the phone to find where the package, tracking service has no detail, sat on the phone for over 5 mins and it just rang and rang for the entire time. Always check if the business is using this delivery company and think again of buying it, I will be from now on.

If it hadn't been for the honesty of another customer that happened to have ordered a product from the same supplier I did in S. Australia, I might still be waiting for my delivery. Hunter Express driver delivered my parcel to an address a kilometre away from my address. Honest householder phoned me to advise of error in delivery. Contacted head office/call centre in NSW, requested a call back from someone and am still waiting. From other reviews on the net, this courier company seems to have a bad rep.

Very poor customer service with no updates for the delivery. This company is not ready to compromise the time with customers' timing. The person responsible to answer the phone call is not professional. I would never ever recommend using this service. It's better if you pickup yourself.

Please avoid using this company, the customer service is poor, the phone answering system is designed to waste your time and not get you anywhere. they delay deliveries and give no reason and no indication when you can get your deliveries. there is no notifications for any status update, the only tracking record doesn't give you any clue of whereabouts of your deliveries, do not recommend to anyone, the worst courier company we've ever used.

Package was scheduled to be delivered on a Monday b/w 10 and 2. No probs, made arrangements for someone to be home then. Nothing happened, no one showed, no one called. The numbers I had for Hunter Express no one answered. One msg bank said, 'this msg bank is full, you are unable to leave messages'. What kind of business is this. I was called back ONCE after the missed delivery day saying that they probably/might/maybe have located the package (was it lost??) and they possibly/might work on sorting out a new delivery. I never heard back from them, even after trying to contact them every day for a week!. Package was eventually dropped off 9 days after it was scheduled. They just rocked up and dumped it in front of my door step. 100% hopeless, I would suggest never, ever use Hunter Express, their level of unprofessionalism beats anything I had previously experienced dealing with any kind of business. Very unhappy, very frustrating and hard to believe they are still in business.

Was told I would receive my delivery in 2 days. The driver ran out of time and couldn’t deliver on the second day And now he has decided to have a few days off. there is no replacement for him, according to customer service. So if one driver has days off no one fills the deliveries, pretty short sighted for a DELIVERY company. never would I recommend or use them again. I will never buy another product from a company who uses hunter express. Consignment: YY971232

The services has been down the hill since 6 months ago. Sometime it takes 3 days for the driver to do the pick-up, and sometime delivered partially. They do not care anymore. Stay away from them!

Would rate 1 star. Says they tried to deliver, I was home, that they left a card, no card and now it’s gone back to depot. I will be driving to all three brisbane Depots to pick it up tomorrow and if it’s not there I’ll be giving them one Abusive conversation. Shocking

Have been waiting for a delivery from this company which they picked up from the sender 8 days ago. I live approx 1 hour away from where the goods were picked up.There is no way to contact them , the phone are automated and emails are not returned How do you run a business with no customer service and when you are not contactable. Need to pick up your game . I will not buy online if the sender uses this company. Have had NO updates regarding my delivery since the 18th

I will never buy any thing off a business who uses hunter express ever again. Ordered 2 deep cycle batterys expected to wait a week 21 days later batterys turn up couldn't contact courier only get recorded messages. Contacted supplier they have same problem 2 days later supplier contacts me says the batterys have gone missing no one knows where they are. Not good enough Hunter express get your act together you'll never get any more business from me.

After purchase, I specifically requested information from Hunter about delivery as I am not at home most days and would need to arrange to be there to meet them. There was NO communication at all and I was not aware about the delivery. I got home to find 2 boxes (the third had not arrived) had been delivered but were 10 metres inside the locked gate which would have been impossible to achieve without climbing the wall. I called to inquire and was told very rudely by 'customer service' that the driver denied this and would not even listen to my questions. She proceeded to tell me she would cancel the remaining delivery and then simply hung up the phone....Exceptionally rude. Even the company I purchased from admitted difficulty communicating with them. I would advise checking which delivery company your retailer uses and avoid any that use Hunter express.
