FAQs
Called to set up a direct debit, they answered very quickly. Very helpful and friendly over the phone. Emailed them documents to change my name and got a really fast response to that too. Very professional and efficient service.
Very prompt, friendly and efficient service from Nick Upton in resolving numerous problems with the builders of our Estate, Avant Homes. Nick and his colleague organised an arboriculturist's report which gave peace of mind for the future management of our greenspace.
All i want is a deed of covenant to finalise the purchase of my property. My Seller, My sellers solicitor and my solicitor have been chasing weeks for this and still nothing even though we are promised it will be sent as soon as the call in over. I am at risk of losing this house. We should have completed weeks ago.
Selling our house is quite stressful. Our solicitors have me doing a lot of their legwork. Part of that legwork has been contacting Greenbelt legal about change of ownership. Twice now I’ve had the pleasure of speaking to Beth Westlake, a Legal Administrator for Greenbelt. What a very calming, knowledgeable person she is. Nothing is too much trouble. And she always follows up with emails, calls, etc. Thank you very much Beth!!
Julie Hughes, customer service is excellent, always replies to emails and gets action on them Not so sure about the contractors, shoddy work!
moved into a property last year and greenbelt do the communal areas. Was made to pay a years upfront before hand which we was happy with however the phase has just been handed over this month. They've tried billing us again even though they've already had it for the year. Emailed them several times to be sent a email that has nothing to do with my complaint. Absolute con-men. Will never recommend buying a house when these guys are involved. Turns out there also my neighbours that have also paid £130 for the year as well and they've had another bill through too!
Overcharged for substandard work. I've been complaining for the last four years about the patch of ground next to my house. They planted several bushes and that's all. When you complain all you get is arrogance and self righteous. I can't figure out if they are incompetent, lazy or just have poor standards. ( I did what they asked in their reply to my review and two days after they replied to my email stating they will send my comments to the relevant department. Still waiting for a conclusion of dispute.
I have lived around a square run by Greenbelt for 13 years. It has been well worth the annual fee in terms of the value of the property and the usage of the area by all the residents from Royal wedding celebrations to the search for tge next Emma Raducanu or Ben Stokes.
Having contacted Chris McLellan in the GEL team he swiftly organised and arranged for some expert landscaping work to be completed. Chris responded to all communication efficiently and delivered excellent customer service overall. Thank you!
Terrible customer service. One of my plants has been destroyed by one of the operatives a few months ago, which they have disputed (without evidence). I was late in submitting picture and video evidence, however still waiting on a response or even acknowledgement
Continuously being advised it will be done and the date moved again (now 12 months on and still not carried out the work contracted to do). Appalling service
I recently gave a bad review of my experience with this company and got an e mail response from them immediately. In the e mail they did not address any of my issues of which I provided photo evidence and I of course have had nothing back. Just the usual we will respond in 20 working days????. So posting o. Here seems to be the only way you can get a response.
Based on recent experience with Greenbelt I have found them to be excellent to deal with. Nick Upton our customer representative has worked closely with our resident's association to review issues that we had and rectify billing errors resulting in a refund for residents. Greenbelt have been incredibly supportive of the resident's association in the organisation of a community event, even providing sponsorship and have been very amicable and easy to deal with. Our green space is kept clean and tidy and verges are neatly maintained.
Avoid this company at all costs! My husband and I are currently in the process of buying a house where Greenbelt act as managing agents. Despite multiple attempts by our solicitors to get hold of the management pack, the company refuses to provide one. They are trying to distance themselves from any sort of responsibility, yet invoices and insurance has been provided showing they are the responsible company. They seem happy to take money but not to take responsibility! This company has caused a lot of stress and we would recommend staying well clear.
We are waiting for Greenbelt to reply to our solicitor after weeks of chasing. Myself and my partner have also emailed and phoned several times but still no reply. As a result of their incompetency we are going to miss out on the stamp duty relief of £2,500. The company have caused a lot of stress and I recommend avoiding at all costs.
I am in the process of moving home; my solicitors have contacted Greenbelt several times in the past 6 weeks and have not received a single reply. We were due to complete by end of September, but due to the incompetence of Greenbelt both myself and my buyer will have to pay an extra £2,500 in stamp duty.
I am trying to buy a property on an estate managed by Greenbelt. Despite numerous requests over more than 5 weeks by the seller's solicitors, attempts at contacting them by the seller and even by me they have not responded at all to any of us. As a result of their total apathy and/or incompetence I am almost certain now to miss the stamp duty deadline so they are going to cost me £2,500 in extra stamp duty through no fault of my own. What a shockingly mismanaged company. I am sure they are much more interested and focused when they are collecting their management fees. Updated following the reply below: Greenbelt finally responded to the solicitors after many weeks, but still failed to give them the information they need to complete the purchase. The suggestion below of contacting 'customer care' is entirely useless as the response comes back that they will try to respond within 20 working days! What kind of company thinks it's okay to take an entire month to respond to their customers?
Absolutely awful communication and time scaled for responding to issues. We have now been waiting over 6 months for an issue to be resolved and have had to chase each time for any update. We have never been given a refernece number.
Greenbelt are very responsive when asked questions about the green spaces where we live! We have a problem with dying trees and when emailed Marc Higgins responded the same day and had actions outlined after visiting the site the following day. They also considered the impact on local wildlife which shows they care! Greenbelt manage the landscaping contract team very well ensuring our green areas look great. It is a pleasure dealing with Marc
Quick response and result by Marc Higgins very happy with overall experience
