I've lived on a greenbelt site for over 10 years and although it was a rocky start the standards of maintenance have improved year on year. The past year has been difficult for all and I am lucky enough to have access to well maintained area on my doorstep.

I live in Dunblane and am thoroughly disgruntled with Greenbelt, unlike the glowing 5-star first-time poster earlier today. Greenbelt pumped up our charges from 204 quid a year in 2014 to over 300 quid by 2018, a 50% increase in only 4 years. They also charged us extortionate fees of around 200 quid for a couple of metres of wire fence material on a couple of different occasions, which was appalling value for money. They typically come and run over the rubbish with their lawnmower and blow some leaves about and that is it. In all the years living here no one in my street has seen them do any work in the border strip behind our houses. No one in my street has ever witnessed the monthly inspections we are charged for, even when everyone was home working during lockdown for a whole year. Overall I feel Greenbelt deliver appalling value for money and appalling customer service. Ideally homeowners should be able to easily seek arbitration through a third party to audit and challenge Greenbelt's claimed inspections and charges such as 50% fee hikes and exorbitant extras. The sooner the government properly regulate this sector and Greenbelt the better. Update: You say it is difficult to look into these issues. Well let me help you out, Anchorscross is the site in question as you well know. You only have 2 sites in Dunblane as far as I am aware and the anchorscross resident association has been challenging your 50% hike in 2018 for 3 years so it can't be that difficult for you to look into it.

Not very impressed, had a final demand with a £21 late payment charge. I did not receive the original bill and areas of the estate including 15 on my road have not received any correspondence from the company, what's going on.

I recently had a problem with the Greenbelt land just outside my property..I was concerned and anxious about debrie being used as 'building material' by children, and damage to a tree. I spoke to Marc, from Customer care, he listened sympathetically to my concerns, acted on them very promptly and resolved them.

One of the worst organisations I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. Slow and inadequate responses to queries, plus when they finally instruct work, it’s shoddy and sub standard. Apart from grass cutting and general maintenance, they don’t do anything proactively. Problem is we can’t sack them due to our title deeds. It’s a ridiculous situation

Wrongly quoted. Then trees in front on house got replanted in the middle of the grass plot. One half of the grass was cut whilst rest left overgrown. When moving into our accommodation our grass was cut on the wettest day and on fresh turf. Ground is completely uneven and we’ve had to spend hundreds trying to regrow wrecked grass.

We have moved in to an Avant property were Greenbelt are taking over the greenspaces. However due to no fault of Greenbelt, or all the homeowners on our development, Avant have miss sold what was agreed and what was delivered. This has lead to complaints to all parties involved. The only person to reach out is Nick Upton from Greenbelt who has been excellent from the start of the complaint. If only all the other parties involved would be as transparent as Nick we would have made significant process. Nick is an essential asset to Greenbelt, please keep up the excellent work.

Been paying this company 15 years now and none of us ever see the "inspections" that appear on the annual invoice. Monthly, quarterly, annual inspections for a park with one slide, one roundabout and one rocker, bit of grass and couple of bushes. Ive calculated the estate of 75 houses has paid £150k to maintain the equivalent of a small house plot. All their sub contractors come from miles away and the markup is horrific. Like £200 to weld the hinge on the park gate.

The website is not difficult to navigate but I have experienced some difficulties with the payment page. The email from the support team did not really helped much but I was able to pay in the end. If you chose to go paper free you get a couple of pounds discount but it is not listed on the receipt so you are left guessing if the amount is correct.

Thank you greenbelt for teaching me why i must NEVER buy a building that has any sort of management company such as yours. You charge quite a lot then tender the work out to the lowest bidder, who fails to deliver and then who you then rely on to say they have done the work. As of today 90% of the people on here say your service is bad, doesn't that cause you any concern, of course not, you can always cut and paste the reply to this review like you do the rest.

Painful paying another form of tax for a company that Redrow stitched purchasers up with. Nobody has managed the area for 6 years. We can't use or access the area. We do not benefit from this area, but liable to pay an annual fee to Greenbelt, with no guarantee costs will increase at their whim. Having asked questions via email the responses were generic, non committal and not measured. Complete daylight robbery that we have no control over. This form of contract within house deeds should be abolished.

If the score was regarding being consistently bad you'd definitely get 5/5! AVOID buying a house where land is managed by these cowboys. Also, for a company who consistently scores 1 or 2 why on the 23/03 were there 7 reviews scoring 4 or 5. Seems abit fishy to me!

I phoned greenbelt about a fence that had come down opposite my house the old fence was taken away and a new one put up and looks very tidy also I phoned up about another fence post that was loose and today I had mark knock on my door to tell me that he would do what he can to put it right well done greenbelt very impressed
