FAQs
Customer friendly and timely actions. Thank you
Unfortunately there is no zero star as this company is fully deserving of it. They fail to respond to correspondence, provide unbelievable invoices without any evidence to back cost, overcharge for service, charge for services that never occur and this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of cost and practices. If you have any opportunity to avoid having to be involved with then my strong recommendation would be to do so.
Dubious charges and costs for works supposedly completed. Highlights are the Supervisor Visits and Woodland inspections *ahem". Excluding one offs for the period (because i am a reasonable person) the yearly charge has increased by an unbelievable 40% from last years charges. The overheads for this company must be humongous given the Admin Charge. The Admin Charge alone accounts for nearly 30% of the bill.
Absolutely shocking company... daylight robbery at its worst... nothing to show for their poor quality workmanship, requested a report to find they had allowed several new young trees to die but felt the need to charge us an additional £60 per household to trim 5 older trees. Dont know how they sleep at night crippling families already at breaking point financially. Greenbelt you should be ashamed!!!
The agent I dealt with Cora was really helpful and pleasant. I would give 5+ stars if possible
The young lady I spoke with was very pleasant and helpful, resolving my issue quickly.
This was the first time i have needed to contact Greenbelt and I was pleasantly surprised. My concern was dealt with easily and a report generated to make sure the trees in front of my house are inspected. Very helpful - thank you..
Would rate zero but unfortunately that's not an option. Would not buy another property where the estate is managed by this company. Prices continually go up year on year with no justification. I know people who live on similar estates who pay half the cost and those estates look much more visually attractive. You ask for a breakdown of the bill and are just verbally told the location of the repair, no photographic evidence that the repair was actually deemed necessary in the first place. Likewise the same with landscaping charged thousands of pounds for planting works when visually the estate looks no different. When you do have an issue near your property you are fobbed off that greenbelt don't actually maintain that or that the area is of natural growth and therefore work is only undertaken when there is a risk. Can see on here the generic response to most reviews is to contact them...dont bother, Communication is terrible, sent an email in May still awaiting a reply! If I left it thay long to pay my fees I'm sure the story would be different. AVOID
A clown outfit with a reckless regard to gdpr. Issued a personal document to an individual that they should never had done.Reported to ICO who informed me that they are now on their watchlist, so anyone with an issue relating to a breach of privacy needs to report them.
Very nice lady to talk with and very helpful.
Nick was very knowledgeable and informative. He answered questions thoroughly with good delivery. He signposted when querries did not relate to green belt. I appreciate the effort Nick made to attend the development on a Saturday morning to ensure more residential representation, thank you.
I recently e-mailed Greenbelt Customer Care regarding a fairly large metal structure which was wedged in the hedge opposite my bungalow. I also mentioned a red metal structure which had been left by another hedge at the side of my property, which had potential to be dangerous for children playing near-by. I included photos of both items. I had an instance acknowledgment to my e-mail but was astonished when a few days later both items had been removed! My request was dealt with most efficiently although I understand that good timing with the team being on the site had a part to play too - however I was most impressed!
Prompt action was carried out by the Customer Care Team to remove a fallen tree which was blocking the footpath and part of the estate road within a few hours of notification by email. Well done Marc and the tree surgeon for such a good job.
I was unhappy about the condition of the landscaping and a very unhealthy tree outside my house. After several emails, I was sent plans of proposed replanting for the autumn, offered the oppportunity to chose a new tree to replace the nearly dead one, and had a visit from the Operations Manager to discuss the work being done. Certainly better than the average response to customer services when you have a problem!
This company, which has taken extremely high fees for 18 years of very shoddy work and even shoddier customer service, has just increased our fees by 18.5%. We are trapped in an agreement with them because the council and the builder gave them a licence to print money. I would never have bought this house had I been aware of what a poor company it is. I should add that the fact that almost 3000 people across the UK have joined the Facebook group "Unhappy Homeowners against Greenbelt Group" speaks volumes.
Customer service personnel called. First as response to my email. Next few times to assist as she noted that I could not register or login to GreenBelt online. Finally sorted out the registration and login issues. GreenBelt as a company: 2/5 stars. Earlier years (2005 to 2013) - all public areas were littered, dirty, and poorly maintained. The Company was not contactable, but continued to charge exorbitant monthly fees. But from today's experience, customer services seem very helpful.
Problems with broken barrier and waste bin reported and dealt with within an acceptable time frame
Saved money for me
I had great customer service from Julie, she was patient, friendly and helpful and took note of my issues. I dont know whether I will be pleased with the ultimate resolution of these issues, they’ve been passed to someone else to deal with them but I was more than happy at the way the initial query was dealt with.
For the last couple of years we have been liaising with the Greenbelt Group who factor our Estate. We have found the individuals within the Group to be helpful and responsive, having supported us in many issues we have faced and being very approachable. One of our key contacts is Duncan Park (Regional Operations Manager). Duncan has been a great help in progressing any problems arising within the estate and regularly meets with us regarding any additional planting needs, readily responding to queries when they arise. We have found Duncan to be a knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful individual who is a credit to the Greenbelt Group. Calder Glade Residents Association
