Quick any easy to change to Goto. A vert helpful chap called Ian sorted everything in a friendly but professional manner. A very competitive price for our gas and electric.
My tarrif had nearly expired. Spoke with an advisor called Annie. Explained what I wanted. She found me the best deal, cheaper tariff, cheaper DD, no Messing with finding a new supplier. Very happy with the customer service I received.

Having been recently notified by GOTO that my current Tariff would soon end, I immediately contacted GOTO to request details & how to proceed. All questions were answered & it was confirmed my new & cheaper Tariff & revised Direct debit was set up. This all in the same working day!

Have just renewed my dual fuel energy with GoTo, having been a customer since 2020. Stayed with GoTo as renewal was competitive and their Customer Service has been good.

I went through Money Savings Expert and completed the application, about a week later I received an email saying they would require a security deposit: "Unfortunately, when performing our credit checks as part of the switching process, we found that you do not meet the specific criteria we require to complete the switch. In order to proceed with your switch application, we would require a security deposit of £1,037.20." I have never been refused credit so I was naturally perturbed and ran an Experian check which shows I have a credit score of 983/999. I contacted their customer service to be told that they have 'specific requirements' and my application came back with a refusal? I am a homeowner with no mortgage, lived in the same house for over 25 years, same bank for 20 years and no CCJ's or defaults on my credit check. Given some of the reviews on here I can only assume that Goto Energy use the credit refusal as a way to improve their cash-flow. Unimpressed.
