I feel badly let down on renewing, as documentation sent in March was not sufficiently clear, which as a consequence means I will pay a considerably higher amount for my energy over the next 12 months. As a pensioner on limited income, this is very upsetting, and in my view poor practice by this company.

I entered the variable tariff and I couldn’t get through to them to see why they hadn’t done my switch so I was left to sort it direct

They advised me of a better tarriff by e-mail , I checked and found it to be a good deal and asked to be put on it Within a day all done changed onto it , hazzle free

I am in my 80's and was having difficulty understanding the Web page. Your operator was very patient with me and steered me along carefully (not sure if I will remember everything) but in the end reassured me that I do not need to record further meter readings, which you have access too and a Bill will arrive by email around 15th of each month. I did add that your Statements are so easy to follow, just one page (2of3) gives all whereas previous with OVO at least 7 to 10 pages appeared with total confusion, at my age that is important. Unfortunately when joining GOTO I was not aware that you do not participate in the Winter Warm scheme which is available to me because of disability. Hopefully you may consider changing before my contract terminates. Many thanks.

I have been happy with the service, perhaps a little slow when emailing the team and you start to wonder if they have received the message but to be fair, they have looked after me great and their prices were good.

Customers are expected to submit monthly meter readings but this information is ignored to manage DD payments. These are increased regardless of usage to give GOTO a healthy cash at customers expense. Inaccurate annual costings given at end of fixed tariff. GOTO have saved cost during Covid as energy prices fell, now there is a significant premium for fixed rates as prices recover. Win-win for GOTO but not their customers.

I used this service to switch to the cheapest and most efficient tariff which I was assured was the case. 12 months on, my monthly payments were really low - too good to be true as it turns out. I submitted my usage regularly using the App which I am told there is no record off. I found out after 12 months that I am in debit and owe an unmanageable amount. I appreciate that the monthly bills did indicate a debit but it was not clear at all. I take responsibility for my part in the situation but I feel that I have been duped by unclear information and no communication regarding money owed until it was really too late. Very stressful and disappointing. I'm told there is nothing I can do about it na shave spread the cost over a 6 months period when they will review. This means that I have to stay with the same provider. All round bad experience.

Like many others, for several years now I have used online accounts for utility bills. GOTO have supplied me with dual fuel for the last year and I have no hesitation in recommending them for price and service. I have used a variety of suppliers over the years but GOTO, without doubt, exceed all of them for the simplicity of their online service and accuracy in predicting usage and monthly payments, which meant I was paying less monthly than I have for many years. As expected their prices have increased for my new contract but having spent considerable time comparing other quotes I am very happy to stay with them for another year confident that it will be troublefree and reliable.
