Customer service a bit of an issue due to recent national advertising I guess but I am extremely pleased with my laptop which functions perfectly and very speedily.
Staff issues can occur anywhere and are not easy to fix quickly. I waited slightly longer than promised and was frustrated by the inability to contact the firm. But the product, when it arrived, has been fine so far and you can't argue about the value of the spec for the price.
Nobody on the phones, nobody on the emails, only a single email explanation that delays are due to back-back staff shortages but it's been over a month like this and just yesterday I finally have a functioning laptop. I sent the faulty laptop that was sent to me back and was promised a replacement / repair within a week. That was over 12 days ago and no sign of any proactive action to restore my confidence; so I was left hanging (even thought it was a scam). GC can't seem to cope at the moment. The laptop has now arrived and is repaired but as a consumer I'm left feeling like this wasn't the experience it should have been.
Excellent product, thought it was brand new when it arrived. I am very pleased with this laptop and would highly recommend. Was delivered sooner than I expected.
UPDATE - Eventually I received my replacement laptop. It is of reasonable quality but was missing some correct drivers which I have managed to locate and install myself. The owner of the company has contacted me 9 months after my initial purchase to apologise for the mistakes. However, if feel this is more so I will update my review than to actually convey remorse for the poor service. With that in mind I have upgraded my score from 1 to 2 stars. They still have a lot of work to do build a quality business and this must include top notch customer service as well as quality products. Ordered a laptop back in July, it's now October and I've had a working laptop for about a week! It was sent back faulty after spending over a week trying to get in contact with them. When they sent the repaired month old laptop back to me they sent it to a drop off shop instead of the delivery address and the laptop was lost by the courier! When they finally found it it had the same fault that I had returned it for! That was 6 weeks ago. After spending weeks trying to contact them they finally responded after I threatened to chargeback. They offered me a replacement. I accepted and returned the faulty laptop. That was 8 days ago and I have still not heard back from them and no sign of my replacement laptop. I'm running out of patience now
Excellent company, superb product, very good packaging and fast delivery, what more could you want..? To be honest I was a bit dubious because a top spec laptop for about £400 sounded to good to be true but they were true to their word. I received an excellent laptop to my own high spec, fully loaded and ready to go. And yes, the boot up time really is five seconds....!! Highly recommended. A*
Very happy with both service and laptop itself, which doesn't have mark on it. Performance is major improvement on my old laptop. Thoroughly recommend Gadget Centre to all, grab yourself a bargain!
Great laptop for what I wanted it for … I’m very happy with the custom spec build … 1TB SDD, 16GB RAM, i7 processor, new keyboard, screen, CD/DVD Rom, WI-FI & Bluetooth, great for my picture editing & catalogue. Well done Gadget Centre 5*s well deserved for the innovative idea & recycling of old laptops.
After initial reservations regarding issues with customer service during the processing of my order, my purchase was delivered a little later than was promised. Ultimately l cannot find fault with the refurbished laptop l ordered from The Gadget Centre...did exactly what it said on the tin so to speak. If the issues with customer services can be addressed l wouldn't hesitate to give a 5 star review.
Great laptop for the price. Communication was poor though when laptop took a week longer to arrive than stated. But overall pretty happy

I spent ages looking around at different suppliers and specs trying to make a decision, I needed a laptop to run Photoshop. I stumbled across Gadget Centre on Facebook, read the reviews and was able to spec the laptop to what I needed, after much deliberation I decided to go for it, waited around a week, it was securely delivered very well packed. I haven't had it long but I must say it seems to be performing very well, only one tiny little mark on it which you can barely see. So if you want a good spec laptop for not a lot of money, then I have no hesitation in recommending these guys.
The laptop I received is ideal for what I'm going to use it for. It looks good does what you said it would do.
Being a refurbished laptop I was a little sceptical. But it arrived when stated and can't fault the laptop it's brilliant can't even tell its not brand new !! Highly recommend

Was a little sceptical but wow I shouldn’t have been! Purchased a laptop and it is amazing! Came with everything I had wanted! Basically I told them what I wanted in a laptop and they built it! Cheap as chips too! I’ll be returning when the kids are wanting a laptop for school.

I have been ased to re consider my original one star rating. see below for my original post. I have since recieved the laptop and am pleased to say it is as expected. a good purchase. i dont really feel able to offer a higher rating as customer support was none existant until the request to consider my review, then i got three e mails!! I suspect a small company has been overwhelmed, sadly poor communication will result in poor reviews even if the produce is good if you are happy to pay and wait I think you will be happy with the end result. don't hold too mcuh hope on replies to phone, e mail or social media. ORIGINAL POST Ordered Wednesday 7th September, had a query re two payments on my credit card account. Emailed them on 9th. Auto reply may be 24-48 hours. Still nothing. Tried calling on a number of occasions, two separate recorded messages saying how busy they are and short staffed. Waited now 5 working days when they said would complete in 3. No communication at all, social media accounts and messages say this is only for marketing I hope this will stimulate a response from G Centre, at this present time despite all the good reviews I cannot recommend. According to companies house one director and the company was formed in May 2022 Will leave you to decide if to risk a purchase
