Saw the Gadget Centre advertisement and, having looked at multiple other pc providers realised what good value they were. Easy to order, got exactly the spec I wanted (& needed). Delivery was longer than expected but that was due to them having people off sick. It was still only a week. Have been using the pc for zoom meetings, presentations etc and it powers up instantaneously and I no longer have issues (as I did with my old laptop) with regard to running multiple programs at the same time. Would highly recommend.
Ordered a laptop with an i7 processor and 16GB RAM - it is really quick and I'm happy with it now that it's got a decent battery in it (the initial battery was useless but GC were good enough to order a fresh battery for me). I would say be patient if you need to contact GC - they don't seem to ever answer the phone and take a few days to answer emails...but they do get back eventually. Would recommend to anyone who is patient!

I took the plunge, and have had an excellent laptop, exactly as I specified for the last three months. I would recommend to anyone who prefers not to buy brand new
Needed a laptop from browsing the internet etc. This was a great value option. Arrived looking like new with carbon fibber look covering. Boots up super quickly, no unnecessary junk installed on there.

Saw a posting for The Gadget Centre on FB. Liked what I read and as my good Lady needed a new laptop, I looked into them and decided to try them out. i7, 16gb, ram, 250gb SSD, windows 10, 2 year warranty. £340 quid. Could probably do with a new battery which is fair enough, otherwise excellent. OK, its not a brand new laptop and has a few scuffs, however it looks the same now as a new one would after a week with the wife! Also, go on line and find out how much a new one to this spec would cost!
BE AWARE, the laptops are supplied with the batteries being switched on standby for 30 minutes testing, and that is it. The machine is fine and performs well but does not include a new battery. This is made abundantly clear after you click on the heading "laptop builder" and scroll down seven pages of text, some of it interesting and some of it definitely not. I don't consider the thing especially cheap for a reconditioned machine and was amazed that it excluded a new battery. Mine doesn't supply sufficient power to boot up. Not really what I would call a portable device. And, if you do have a problem, phone calls get a recorded response telling you they are busy, emails take a low priority for answering and apparently, in my experience, letters are ignored.

Placed an order for a pretty high spec laptop with some nervousness. Needn’t have worried - the laptop arrived after about 2 weeks, well packaged and ready to go. Although not the most slim or elegant of laptops, it was in good condition and so far has performed flawlessly. Recommended!

Ordered a refurbished laptop from the Gadget Centre. The laptop came on time and beautifully packaged. The laptop booted up immediately and worked perfectly. It came with a spreadsheet and word type programs which worked well. I haven’t needed to contact them yet but I expect great service. Highly recommended for a fantastic value laptop.
Got a computer from them absolute first class service and product no issues or problems at all the only thing for me personally was would have liked a 2tb drive but that's just personal preference otherwise first class

Very happy with my laptop - runs and looks new - and it’s recycled so all round a win win.
Laptop returned after 6 months as two keys no longer registering. Keyboard replaced and laptop now works fine. Only reason not 5 star 1. No notification of security arrangements at Gadget centre so I had to remove a lot of stuff before sending. Also danger of theft or copying during transit.2. DPD local held my returned laptop at their depot for 4 days due to an "unexpected situation ". It was impossible to contact them. Their automated chat refused to say what the "unexpected situation " was. No phone or email contact given. I hope that it was just that the pick up point was refusing to accept parcels due to storage problems but no explanation was offered. This made me nervous especially as it looked as if the package had been resealed. So be careful if you have any sensitive info on your laptop if sending for repair. All this process from getting Gadget centre to accept and laptop returned took 3 weeks but I had my old laptop to use. Bear in mind also.
