Friendly greeting and personal service from Martin Fitzgerald at the Barnstaple (Devon) store. Guided us to the product range in which we were interested. Subsequently opened an online discussion in order to establish the correct product for our requirements, in terms of dimensions, operation, fabric and colour. Not the cheapest, not quite the most expensive, but a very professional and accessible route to buying a high quality product to match our needs. Appalling customer service. Problem with dining chairs purchased and no recourse to return or refund. No receipt issued at time of purchase with terms and conditions on. Refund refused and complaints department the same people who refused to refund cost of returned chairs leaving us out of pocket. Don’t buy from this company Unfortunately your response to this is still inaccurate and disappointing.We didn’t ask you to assemble the chair and were concerned re the longevity of the chairs due to the issues with the fixing. We felt your department was unwilling to listen to our point of view even though the store manager told us to request a refund !! We were told we could only cancel the order at a 20% loss to us as you could not resell the chairs even though two of the chairs were returned unopened in the original packaging and unassembled!!

Barnstaple branch. Wonderful selection of sofas. Friendly and helpful staff . Paul J was really great nothing was too much trouble. Really excited and can not wait for my new sofas to be delivered. I chose stain guard and full delivery with assembly included. I can not recommend FW Home stores enough. Quality furniture at excellent prices. As well as the sale price I benefited from an extra 20% off.

First time experience, competitive prices, helpful staff and a decent range.

Martyn in the Caerphilly branch was amazing. So friendly and we popped back later in the day and he had remembered our 2 year old son’s name which we were very impressed with. Bought a lovely dining table and chairs.

The staff are excellent! They approach shoppers and offer help, leave you to browse but are in the vicinity if help is needed. We were very impressed with the service we had.

Third time purchasing furniture from the Barnstaple store today and as always made to feel very welcome by the fantastic staff, very professional but also friendly service. Thankyou Martin for all your help. Alex
