We popped in whilst taking a break from decorating and weren't exactly presentable. However, we were not treated any differently and Andrew was welcoming on arrival. We knew what we were looking to buy following a previous visit to their Newport show room. We borrowed a measuring tape from Andrew to ensure what we wanted would fit but sadly, they were too tall. Luckily, Andrew knew they offered the same item in a shorter version so we were able to purchase the stools that we wanted. Andrew swiftly checked stock, located them in another warehouse and arranged delivery to our local warehouse. We were informed that they would be ready for collection within 1 week and will receive a call once ready. I also enjoyed a coffee whilst we were looking around. Thank you for the great service!

This furniture store in Barnstaple is extremely well stocked. Had been going to an alternative store who had discontinued the suite range I was looking at. Martin was extremely helpful on the telephone and on visiting the store, proved to be just as helpful.

On our previous visit mid week we had bought a wardrobe, then decided to look at sofas, it was very nearly closing time but weren’t rushed by Martin, whom we have dealt with several times. Ordered it today with him. Always a good choice of products at competitive prices.

Barnstaple Fw Homestores We travelled from Plymouth to Barnstaple to shop here for a new dining table after failing to find anything in Plymouth. The journey was well worth it as the choice was much better. Martin the salesman was brilliant and offered us a coffee when we arrived and was really helpful and informative when we asked for help without being at all pushy like many salesman. We visited FW Homestores as we were thinking of replacing our sofas and were delighted at the selection and quality of the furniture on display. We bought the 2nd sofa we sat on. Andrew was very helpful and knowledgeable - we were left alone to browse, but he was on hand to answer our questions. Delivery is expected within 6-8 weeks. A very positive experience and I can recommend this family owned business.
