We went into the Barnstaple branch of F W Homestores and, although we have bought there before, we were amazed at how this store keeps up to date with modern, affordable furniture at great prices. The store is unlike any other in North Devon. Paul J talked us through all options and only took our deposit once he was fully satisfied with our choices, colours etc and still told us we could change our mind before the full order was placed. We had never heard of the moving home deposit option which Paul J fully explained and put our minds at rest. The company does well in keeping modern and unique furniture, and lots of it on display, at very reasonable prices. A true credit to the area.

Went in there not planning on buying anything ,just browsing the sofas, there was an excellent sale on 20% off sale price , the sales assistant Paul came to my assistance ,found an excellent price and the colour we thought had been discontinued but he wen out of his way to get me te colour I wanted, excellent service over and above , thank you Paul, a brilliant experience

Just been to Newport store and managed to buy two beds with mattresses and headboards of my choice with the amazing help of Andrew and Tracy. Wouldn’t recommend them enough x

Visited the Barnstaple store to look for a two seater sofa and chair, was met politely at the door by David who was very helpful and attentive, but he gave us plenty of time and space to look at the stock and make a choice without any pressure.

Eddie and Tracy was fantastic. Was recommend by my daughter who had the same great treatment.

Whilst the sofas and salesman Ian in shop were excellent the delivery was appalling, I was given a 9 o’clock time for sofas and this time was crucial as I had to arrange a glazier to come to take window out. After numerous phone calls to company and given incorrect information though out the day, drivers turned up at 4oclock. I rang and spoke to Adam director of company who was totally unsympathetic and told me if I get upset he would terminate the call. How would he like to be sitting in cold room with window out for 8 hours? His attitude was disgusting. He agreed to pay the cost of taking the window out but not for the 8 hours the glazier stayed with me because we didn’t know when delivery was coming. I will be avoiding this company at all costs.

Went into the Barnstaple store today as we were looking for a dining table set. There was so many to choose from but we found the one we really liked. All the staff were very friendly especially Martin who was very knowledgeable & very helpfylul. Looking forward to getting our new dining room set. Great place to go for lovely furniture

Fantastic service and the delivery team were extremely accommodating given they had to navigate through several rooms/doors to position 3 sofa's and a reclining chair.

We were looking for a new sofas today went into Barnstaple store and found the perfect one. We found the salesman and he was very happy to help ended up purchasing 2 sofas 👍🏻 David was chatty and funny and helpful. Great help and service by David in the Barnstaple store today. We were given all the info on the offers in the store and left alone to browse to our hearts content. When we’d narrowed down our choices, David provided us with all the answers to our questions and helped us finalise our choice and place the order for our new sofas. Can’t wait for them to arrive 😁.
