Thorough search
Excellent, but the app is a bit difficult to get used to.
the service offered is very good a shame the price is so high i would use more if a cheaper.
Initially it looks like there is lots of information available, but very quicky you are shut out and need to pay a very expensive subscription.
Information is fantastic. I personally find viewing and updating my family tree very difficult.
Search function and hints are very helpful, but cost is putting me off taking the next step to further trace my family tree
Took my money when I cancelled the free week trial
I tried but got a little bit confused, and not sure which way to turn, I am 92 living on my own, and doing this family tree is making me that I can’t remember very much….
If you just want to view one record, such as a Will, the minimum charge appears to be £9.99. Although they say they offer "micropayments" or credits, these are so well hidden they are impossible to find on Find My Past's over-complicated website.
I'm keen to find my past especially on my Mothers side, trouble is I haven't found enough time to put into it yet, but eventually I will. Anyway many thanks.
It was so easy to start my family tree. I've had loads of helpful hints to find things out. I know I've got a long way to go but I know I'll have plenty of help
Good website
I was recently in Ireland looking for ancestors and the National Library of Ireland said they had records from everyone except Find my Past. I apparently had looked at it before as -- on one page FMP says I have been "a member since 2015." I looked up a record when I returned from Ireland -- and did not find anything worth pursuing. Now I discover that Find my Past has deducted $29.99 from my bank account. When I go to the subscription page to cancel -- it says I do not have an account, and there is no where to write the request. So I am a member who does not have a subscription -- plus I have lost $29.99 which I would like refunded. Kate Breen
Main reason getting FMP was to access the 1921 Census as it’s not available on Ancestry. Now I have all these records I am going to cancel as I can’t afford both subscriptions.
FIND MY PAST IS EXCELLENT IT SHOWS RESULTS
Excellent resource at a fair price.
I'm on a 7 day trial. Website is asy to use and to find the info needed. Only downside is that I can't get access to a lot of the other information I need. I have to upgrade. So it's not a trial really if access to information is blocked.
It is easy to use and there are so many different types of records to look at.
good help with finding family tree
I am quite new to this website, still trying to navigate around but the basic layout and information is quite easy to navigate. The only thing I have found difficult is to correct a mistake, not so easy.
