Love this program. It is definitely worth every penny! My DR is resoving and I am feel I am getting in better shape! It's also nice to not have to think about what workout I am doing. Thank you!
I love the EM program and use it almost every day, and have been using it for a year now. Why not 5 stars? If you’re using it long term like I do, the program path content doesn’t change much and there haven’t been enough updates in the last year, considering its potential. It’s mostly the same content over and over. I don’t mind because there is enough existing, and I like tracking my progress through the app. I’ve used both the Reclaim program and now the Prepare program. For example, Prepare is for pregnancy but there doesn’t seem to be a difference in the content regardless of which trimester I’m in. Also, I wish it was easier to keep track of measurements when switching or moving to new paths. There is no way for me to see my progress from when I started to now.
Overall, I've really been enjoying the structure of the program and the content of the workouts. I learned a lot about engaging core, and safe movement in pregnancy (and beyond.) For improvement: -Some more upbeat/fun music would be great - the tracks get monotonous -There is occasional toxic 'workout language' - for example 'you deserve a stretch' -it wasn't until months into the program, when I switch my path to a special pilates 21 day challenge, did I get any information about a pelvic floor that is too tight, and how to modify in this case. In the meantime, I had already seen a pelvic floor therapist who diagnosed me with this condition and highly advised against kegels and the continual encouragement to perform them with the 10 minutes of core compression. This information should be a basic part of the prepare program, as it's apparently fairly common, especially among first time mothers, or mothers who didn't go through vaginal childbirth.
Oh how I wish I’d found this app sooner. My baby is a teenager. It easily becomes a part of your every day.
I wish you offered some more actual/ gradual weight training but excited to try the pilates and new things coming out often.
I wish there was a graph with personal measurements over time vs in each specific program.
Not only is Every Mother helping to tighten my abdominal muscles after two babies, but my low back is also feeling stronger!! I sustained multiple horseback riding injuries, over the years, that has left my lower back very weak. Every Mother exercises are literally bringing my core back together!!
Just finished 3 months of Reclaim, my DR is healed! I’m on to Surpass now and am really loving the app. After a Twin pregnancy I’m reclaiming my slim shape again and am so proud of myself
This is a great program for a busy momma of 7 or any number of kidos. It's the perfect amount of challenge and time. Equipment is minimal which is nice. I'm seeing and feeling great at results.
Great program with different challenge levels. My waist actually has gotten smaller and my clothes fit better
Love this program! I have seen massive results in under 12 weeks in healing my diastisis recti. The program is laid out clearly and is easy to follow. I highly recommend this program to any mom with diastisis recti!
I've been on and off this program for a year now. I just finished Reclaim Light after two pregnancies, the second pregnancy being twins, which really destroyed my body. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stick to the daily plan and complete the 84 day plan in well.... 84 days. Upon signing back up this past May, I finished Reclaim Light, and moved onto Reclaim Classic. I went from 2cm DR to 1.5cm. I probably would have seen better results if I was more consistent... like 'not taking off the entire Winter' kind of consistent. I will say what brought me back was not only the desire to close the gap, but also because this is THE ONLY program that has helped me with my lower back issues related to an injury in my 20s, which was only exacerbated with my two pregnancies in my 30s. Every time I got back on the wagon after falling off (because life happens and it's so easy for us as Moms to make excuses for why we don't come first!) I noticed my lower back pain going away. I'm extremely active as a runner, yogi, and pre-COVID times a fan of the 'Body Pump' program. I consider EM to be one part of my fitness and training journey, but I also think it's a critical component, in that not all other programs, classes, or exercises will take into consideration what a Mother's body has been through. Taking off one star only because I couldn't figure out how to get from Reclaim Light to Reclaim Classic once I felt stronger (and was one of the reasons I left my membership lapse). My guess is if you select the Reclaim Light program, they really want you to finish the whole thing. Also, agree with another user, that the script in the video segments for CCs is sometimes a little too fast. Like Spinal Twist CCs. Users should be allowed to relax in that position for a moment before engaging. I found myself having to pause the video, which was fine, but a brief 5 second pause, to allow the spine to release into the pose would be more beneficial. Also, I just can't figure out the parts of the Total Body workouts that require stepping up and around a stool. Would prefer to have a video breakdown for some of those more complicated movements as practice for the slightly uncoordinated...LOL.
I feel this has helped me and would help other mothers post pregnancy with diastasis recti. For me, I have really tight back muscles due to an autoimmune disease so my diastasis didn't close up after the program but it did help some. I think if I were a normal case that these exercises would have really helped.
I was looking for info on DR when I found Every Mother: the only website to give accurate, helpful information, great problem solving in case any additional info is needed and I cured my DR. I wish I had known about this website years ago
It's a good app. I just feel that sometimes it doesn't give me enough time to get into position or not enough information to get the right posture.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this program! Having a specific routine to follow is so helpful. This is my second time starting the reclaim program due to having another baby... yes—I loved it that much the first time around, and I definitely saw results! I felt stronger and the gap between my muscles was closing. I went from a 3 finger width gap down to 1 and 1/2 before getting pregnant again.
Every Mother has changed my life. As a mother of 2, I was even more frustrated recovering from my second birth in getting my body stronger. I injured myself with an umbilical hernia by working out intensely not knowing I had diastasis recti. I was feeling even more so defeated not being able to work out "normally" like other young women my age. I stumbled upon Every Mother and it's been a life saver. I am stronger and know more about my body to push it effectively without causing more injury. I love the accountability and village present to help as needed!
I love this program! I have learned so much and this is the only program I have stuck with consistently. I enjoy having program options depending on my time and work out desires. And I like that this is geared toward fixing postpartum bodies.
I tried other programs for my DR with no success, and found those apps/programs difficult to follow. Not only is EM very user-friendly, but I've also made great strides in improving my DR! My journey isn't over in healing my DR, but I like the EM team a lot and feel like they have my back (and belly!) even though I've never met them.
I enjoy the workouts but I have not seen any changes yet, my program is 12 weeks i hope to see something by then
