Unbelievable, my original review was removed. This company has cost me a lot of stress. I think that the public deserve to be informed about my experience with them. In the beginning of this year I fought literally for weeks to cancel my services and payments with them. I sent them countless emails and all of them were ignored. Their phone line would ring for minutes keeping me on hold, then would eventually tell me that the call could not be answered and drop off. It was an extremely stressful time for me, and they kept taking around £70 from my account every month. I eventually had to contact my bank and send them PROOFS that the company has been ignoring me so that they could literally block them from taking any more money from me. Of course as soon as I wrote a bad review they responded to the review (still no reply to my actual emails though). I did not see their response, because 1) I did not log in into truspilot for a long time 2) I did not expect a response from them since they have been ignoring me so far 3) the issue was already resolved, the money was no longer being taken, what could I possibly need a response from them NOW for? NOW they want to investigate? Really? After weeks of attempts to contact them? Did not realise until today that my review was shamelessly deleted by Trustpilot. Still waiting for their explanation as to why that happened. Don't customers deserve to know the truth? Absolutely, outrageous customer service, I have experienced bad customer service before, but this is just beyond anything I could have imagined in my wildest dreams. I bet they will get this review removed too somehow? I honestly feel sorry for anyone who falls for this and has to go through the same hell with them that I went through. Also, worth mentioning that this was happening in January and February of this year, so they can't use Covid as an excuse for being short staffed. Edit: I have received your form where you want me to provide you with my personal information, such as my phone number and my full name. I do not wish to provide that, and I don't see the reason why you would ask for that. I haven't been your customer for many months and don't even hold an account with you anymore. I wanted to send you a copy of an email that one of your staff sent me in the beginning before I tried to cancel, however, there is no option to do send you an actual message and to communicate with you properly, only on your terms. The email was extremely rude, and like I said in my original review I experienced issues with your company from the very beginning when I signed up and that I should have predicted this and cancelled earlier. You should have investigated a year ago when I was begging you to. It is a little bit too late now, and quite frankly I want to leave this in the past already, it was stressful enough for me having to revisit this experience today, which is not something that I enjoy to remember. It is not my responsibility to do work for you now so that you can investigate and improve your customer services, this is something that you should have done a long time ago.

*****AVOID AVOID**** Basically the service it self isnt bad BUT, for the last 2/3 MONTHS i have been trying to contact them on ALL there numbers to no aviel. I have tried opening chat windows with them but they dont work, they just time out. There is no way to speak with this company at all. 1/2 months ago they had a voice message saying that they are not taking calls due to Covid etc. but even now they are not taking calls and I have tried ALL the numbers many times. Also, there forget password feature is not working on site, and there is no way to speak with anyone about that or anything else. Total joke. Avoid like the plague. I called my bank today to make sure they cant take any more payments and have found another provider. What a joke, they cant answer a call yet they advise a call answering service. It would be nice if someone would actually contact me but all I expect, judging by the other responses on Trustpilot is a condescending message saying "Thank you for review feedback has been passed on" and nothing further. Seems to me they have NO interest in working to correct issues, they just enjoy writing condescending responses on TP and providing no responses on their own actual site. Update and reply: Please dont pretend you are taking calls. I have tried and tired on all your numbers, such as 0203 070 2999 and 0800 005 1600. EVERY TIME i call, the auto reponse gets me to wait and wait, then transfers me to a voice mail. Every time, and this has been for months. and the forget chance password funcion is NOT working on your site, I have not been able to change a password for 2 months now and also you say now you have sent me a private message via trust piolt??? Thats more lies, there is no way I can recive a message from you on TP, there is no inbox or anything like that on TP for me to even recive. You have my email and moblie number on file so get in contact with me for REAL and stop LYING saying you are contacting and are not. You guys are own by a NASDAQ holding company, Im sure the management of which would be interested to learn who ever is running the operations of theis brand is messing up in a big way. ALSO, you state that you have always been taking calls, then way did you have one voice message for a while saying you are not taking calls because of covid?? I heard that many times. Now there is no such message but you guys are not taking calls anyway. CONTACT ME. for real. Next week I am contacting the holding company in the states so they no what a SH@T show you guys are operating, this is a disgrace. correction: I did recive a email (with no message as per se) asking for my number. I have filled this in. So Please, contact me.

We recently signed up for eReceptionist. Signing up couldn't have gone easier and the 0800 number was working within minutes. I was very impressed by that and it couldn't have gone more simply. The eReceptionist website is very swish and professional looking but I must admit that when I signed into the backend I was a bit shocked. The software does look to me like it was a programme written for Windows 95 and hasn't been updated since. But it does a basic job in a basic way but it does it ok. The website offers a free professional voice recording for the greeting message. I submitted the order for that as per their instructions and the system charged me for it. I did raise this and I was issued a refund for it so I did get it for free, although it took 8 days not the 2-3 advertised (but we are in corona lockdown) but it sounds like their systems are a bit archaic and don't flow very well. The eReceptionist app is fine if you ask me, it allows me to ring people and that's all I need it for. It does that fine. I've seen people saying the app is junk in reviews and but this is the first such system I've used and I can't really say what features it is missing that I would want. I can call people from my 0800 number no problems, that's all I need it to do and it does it fine. I have used the eReceptionist app extensively over the past fortnight, we get a lot of calls and have made a lot of calls at all hours of the day. Sadly every single customer has complained about the call quality, describing it as robotic sounding, intermittent, and "very bassy". After two weeks of that I decided it was right for my business to cancel the eReceptionist service. Cancelling couldn't have been easier however. I rang customer services and it was done within a few mins. No problems there. In summary worth a pop if you don't mind a service with a backend from 1983 and a huge question mark over call quality but once its set up if the call quality works for you its fire and forget so nothing special but its not rubbish, does the job on a basic level so maybe worth a pop. If the call quality hadn't have been an issue id have stayed personally but that was a deal breaker for my business.

Well, where do I start. I went with Ereceptionist for my small business almost 2 years ago. As I also have clients in the USA, I had a UK number and a USA number. I have had problems with the UK line from the beginning but just put it to bugs on the system and found ways of working around that. The platform is clunky and so is the mobile app, but I'm tech savvy enough to find ways of working with this. Problems varied and were inconsistent - from calls cutting off, the caller not hearing me, me not getting notifications of missed calls, etc. Whenever I would call Ereceptionist, they would ask for examples, which of course, you can't give when it's inconsistent. They claim they looked into the issue but no one every got back to me. My business was getting busy, I didn't have time to call them to follow up. The latest problem was that apparently my USA number NEVER WORKED and yet I was charged for it. When I called 2 months ago (we're now Dec 1st), they didn't believe me and said they would look into it. One month into my call, I followed up, only to be told that "if we had solved your issue, we would have contacted you". Wow. So I left it until I got my latest invoice where I was still being charged for the number that never worked! I called again, spoke to John their tech guy who again didn't believe my number never worked. I said I had reported it over a month ago, which again he had to verify (why would I waste my time calling and lying about this?) and I said that I had asked for a refund which he said the company couldn't give because he didn't believe that my line never worked. I hung up saying that I would close my account, my conversation with him was going nowhere. About 5 mins later, I receive an email saying that the management had agreed to refund only 11 months of the charge and that I should email back to accept, which I did, less than 5 mins after I received the email. I didn't close my account immediately because I wanted to see whether they would issue the refund. In the meantime, I was receiving notifications from them for the unpaid latest invoice. I replied to the last notice saying that the invoice wouldn't be paid until they issued the refund for the number that never worked in the first place. Whoever on the other end FINALLY worked on the number it seemed because all of a sudden I got 2 test calls (this was 6 days after my email about payment). By the way, refund still wasn't made and it's now been a week. So I call to close my account. Get Marianna (very rude). I say I want to close my account, and she asks me why, I say bad customer service and charging for a line that never worked and failure to issue refund. She looks at my profile and says that an email was sent to me about the refund and that I had to reply to that, which I said I did (first flag that they don't monitor emails). She puts me on hold for over 10 mins while she checks with John. Comes back to say he didn't see my reply and they've just opened my email and the refund has been made and that I should wait up to 5 days. So I ask "if I hadn't called you, that email would have remained closed then, and my refund would have never been made?". Marianna declines to answer and just says that my refund has been made. I close my account same day, and she says, "so the reason is technology" I say yes, and bad customer service (somehow, I doubt she'll mark this in my profile which is why I'm reviewing it here). Would I recommend Ereceptionist? Never. I found Circle Loop as another provider, with an easier platform and app that do a lot more than Ereceptionist. Avoid Ereceptionist like the plague, you'll thank me for it.

Was excellent but now appalling from product through to customer service. Incoming calls have not connected for about a week and nothing has been done to fix this. Furthermore can’t get hold of anyone at the company. Would definitely not recommend!

Not user friendly. I have a hard time finding my way around. Also I subscribe for the 7,50 euros plan, but I was billed 9 euros? Sorry but I probably am going to chancel my account.
