Avoid especially the older gen as they are not happy until you sign the contract.They are rude, no communication skills except for one receptionist. I had them in as I wanted one window reinstalled which seemed to go alright. We then went into the sitting room where I mentioned that there was a draft coming from this window also, although that was happening with most of the windows but too costly for me to replace them all. So the saleman tried all he could to get me to sign a contract for both the sitting room and the other window which being an older gen I had expected trust from them so i did sign. That following night the noise in the house was terrible so I telephoned the firm confirming that I wanted to cancel the contract for the installation of the large window and to speak to the salesman as I may have to move from this residence. I could hear by his reply that he was not happy to cancel remarking that he would then have to sort out a further contract. I did receive another contract which this time I did not sign as I wanted to get two further quotes. I mentioned this to one of their receptionists who agreed that it would be fine to get further quotes and to just sign their contract if I wanted to go any further. As I preferred another company who seemed to be the opposite it was from then that everything changed. When the sales team telephoned Dunraven at first they did receive a positive call mentioning that my contract had been cancelled and that they would return what I paid towards my first contract. However all this quickly changed when all I heard was that it was too late as I had not signed the latest contract, nothing about me cancelling the big window within the seven days. It is now two months since I signed the first contract. After much pressure I did receive a cheque for part of the contract but they have not returned the full amount despite, as mentioned, being informed that Dunraven would return the full amount of what I paid towards the first contract - diabolical. The only positive sign I have about this company is that they have told their callers not to come to my door again. Thank you for replying but what is the use when, as one person mentioned, I have never had anything to do with a firm that is so one sided, all they want is money from you.
I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company in my life. They installed a warm roof on our conservatory. A people from the company are no longer interested to communicate with us after they collected a cheque from us. There was no job reviewing process, although they promised to visit us 4 days later to confirm the quality, they never turned up. Within a week of completion, we realised that the toilet's extraction fan is not working compared to before. We could not find where the new fan exit was supposed to be relocated to by Dunraven. We contacted them to ask the new location, but no answer despite after a series of emails, including a notification to take legal action if they don't respond to us within 24 hours. We called them, they don't put me through to discuss and no call back. Ridiculously unprofessional company who cannot even answer to one question. We need to have the extractor fan exit to outside because our toilet does not have a window. Avoid this company, no need to step into this ridiculous situation.
I would urge people to stay away from Dunraven. We paid a £500 deposit to "lock in" a price on a conservatory, after being reassured by the salesman that there was a 7 day cooling off period (we wanted to get additional quotes before fully committing) We cancelled our order on 30th April 2019, so within the stated period. It is now the 31st May 2019 and we have still to get our money back. This is despite numerous e-mail requests. Dunraven are no longer responding to my contact and so I am about to take this to the Ombudsman.
Rude, aggressive tradesmen. Had to be reminded a number of times to follow the terms of planning conditions. The three tradesmen involved became very aggressive and used extreme derogatory terms (c@@t) when told that access was walking access only. Although we were not the Customer their attitude and pack mentality behaviour gives cause for concern.
Just had back windows and door fitted and am thrilled with the workmanship. One lad Mark installed windows on his own he was amazing never stopped for a break . The two lads who came on second day were also brilliant . All three are a credit to the company. We never imagined what a difference the new windows and door would make . I would definitely use Dunraven again
I was lucky enough to win an online competition for new doors and windows 1st March 2019. It has now been a month and half and installation is complete. What a smooth running operation from start to finish. Surveyor, photographer, administration staff all liaised with myself, my landlord and his secretary with a professional manner and service! The fitters were efficient and friendly...and clean and tidy - I've never seen dust sheets so clean!!! All rubbish removed each day they were here. Fitted articles are a brilliant standard and of a clean finish - I am really impressed with everything and would defo recommend their services to anyone and everyone Thanks guys!
Just had a new conservatory roof fitted by Dunraven to replace the existing original conservatory polycarbon roof...what a huge difference!!! Genuinely can't believe how much quieter, warmer and better this has made our home and can honestly recommend anyone thinking of having this type of work done on their home to speak with Dunraven. We found them extremely competitive on price even with different payment options if required, the workers very tidy, professional and polite and the product fitted seems of a high quality. After the work was completed and seeing the high standard of Dunraven we further had a new front and back door fitted, again the price being very competitive and the workmanship of a high standard. The difference in the temperature of our home is extremely noticeable, we hadn't realised just how bad the previous doors had become and similar to the conservatory, the quietness is incredible. From our experience with Dunraven we would sum up by saying they provide high quality products, very competitive prices, high level of workmanship and great customer service, all with a long guarantee. We'll definitely use them again when the windows need replacing
We have used Dunraven Windows for all of our window/Conservatory improvements,to say we are over the moon is an understatement, from the Managers through to the workers they are very professional and friendly.When leaving the job its like they never visited except for the fact that we have our new amazing windows.
On 2 occasions I had an appointment for Dunraven to come round and provide a quote and on both occasions they didn't even turn up! If they can't be trusted to turn up to a sales appointment, I don't believe they'll be much better when it comes to doors and windows!
We are very happy with our new conservatory. The fitters were quick, efficient, and left no mess. The office staff are friendly and helpful. Any issues are dealt with as soon as possible, so we have no hesitation in recommending this company.
Well where do I start? Ive recently had a extension with a orangery roof fitted on my house and what a class job they have done excellent from start to finish. The builders (Brendon & co) and all tradesmen where all good as gold polite and explained everything what was going on and kept the place as tidy as possible before they left everyday. I we had a visit on several occasions from (Gareth) the manager just checking how the job was going and keeping me informed and asking if there is anything I needed just ask and he went above and beyond done a few little extras just to make the job a even better I can’t thank them enough for all they have done and to keep me and my family happy so thank you Dunrevan I would definitely recommend them and I will be it was a 5star service 👍
Ridiculous. Salesman came, was a bit pressurising - sign tonight only- blah blah. So we agreed that night on 0% finance, as i was happy with the price for the doors and installation. Surveyor came a few weeks later, all fine - told us they would be installed 27th Feb. Then we get a call to say that the salesman had not included the building regs fee (after he had written all the costs down and signed the order for the total price) they wanted an extra £700! When i complained that i was given the total price by the salesman - i was told 'well everyone makes mistakes'. Needless to say i cancelled the order- absolute joke!
I had a new glass roof installed on my present conservatory .everything was explained in lamens terms and I explained that I wanted it done before Christmas .a date was fixed and out they came worked all day without a break each man knowing what he had to do.by 4pm everything was cleared up furniture back in.and waving me goodbye. could not ask for better and would highly recommend them.one satisfied customer.
Pain in the A**e Company. They have me on a now call list at the office yet their rude 20 year old boys continue to ring my bell & ask if we want new doors or windows - we live in a newly built house for gods sake. I rang to complain and speak to a manager, spoke to a supervisor who was of no help whatsoever. I asked for the Managing Director to email me in regards to my complaint and was told they don't use email only ring! If I can't stop them calling what would happen if they had my phone number as well. They didn't even know who the owner / Managing Director was either! In reply to your interesting reply, please note I HAVE BEEN ON YOUR NO KNOCK LISTING FOR 2 YEARS already so it proves to us all that that doesn't work either!
Dunaven have recently replaced all our windows/doors and we couldn't be more pleased. The product is very good but their staff are their biggest asset. From the salesman who initially quoted to the two fitters who finished th job. The ladies in the office who guided me through the whole process including the financial arrangements were outstanding, very friendly, knowledgeable and most helpful. It was a pleasure to meet the two fitters, very professional, friendly and keen to answer all questions. I would certainly recommend this company.
Have just had a Splendour roof fitted to our conservatory. This took 4 days and all done by Dunraven fitters/ tradesmen. They were very efficient, tidy and polite. This has greatly improved our conservatory making it a warmer and more serviceable room. I would definitely recommend Dunraven. I wrote this review just after installation of our new roof, and yes we were very pleased with the job, politeness of the workmen etc, however, little did we know that 6 months down the line we would be having serious problems. We started having water penetrating in an outer corner and actually had a pipe and bucket to catch the water, we had 3 or4 different teams to sort it out taking various bits off, silicone stuffed everywhere before eventually sorting THAT leak, yes soon afterwards we had several leaks along the top length of the conservatory and 2 years later, after having many teams here and many bosses, it may now be solved. They have renewed our warranty but the inside decoration of our conservatory room still has many watermarks but we are reluctant to decorate incase we have more issues. So No, I don’t think I would recommend Dunraven, as some of the issues we have had have been down to poor workmanship, which at the time, we could not see. Yes they kept coming back to sort the issues but probably 15 visits and many bosses to sort a problem which should have been obvious at the original installation. I feel we are owed compensation from Dunraven as we were sold the roof as “guaranteed not to leak”. Well it did nothing but for 2 years. The roof was not cheap, we cannot afford to throw money away on a bad venture, but it had been a headache and may continue to be so !!!!!
Very Happy with Dunraven Windows. Had an interior PVC door fitted to our porch. Gentleman came and installed it himself in only a few hours with little fuss. Cleaned up after himself and did a lovely job.
Really happy with my new windows throughout the house! Couldn't recommend these guys enough. Fitters were great and accomodating as things did get changed mid fitting. You get what you pay for, not the cheapest on the market but the quality of service and product is worth it.
Recently had anthracite grey windows fitted and am beyond happy with the result. The salesman was very professional and helpful. Very happy and couldn’t recommend them enough! Looking forward to having my new conservatory with them later on this year.
Just had 4 windows and a door installed and I’m over the moon. Installation was done quickly and efficiently, although I think I am a little low on teabags now. So nice to have a company supply top quality goods and service with a smile! Will definitely recommend to friends and family. You get what you pay for , thanks .
