Great service, experienced and friendly staff, windows fitted expertly, brilliant job done. Will recommend to friends and family. Thank-you Dunraven
Had a house full of windows off Dunraven a few weeks ago, great quality. Had to change the fitting date and they were very understandable. Highly recommend.
A professional job done by a hardworking team. Very happy with the job and couldn’t recommend them enough
Fantastic company. Very friendly and helpful people in the office and the young lad, who’s name I believe was Jamie, that made the call offering the conservatory to myself and my partner was an absolute delight to deal with. Building and fitting teams were second to none. Highly recommend.
Awesome service and great quality
Completely professional from start to finish, I couldn’t recommend Dunraven anymore. Amazing!! 5*
There are so many companies offering windows, doors and conservatories, with many offering similar products and outdated sales tactics and business models. I've had experience of a few. I decided to go with Dunraven for the replacement of my conservatory roof to their thermally efficient replacement roof. After reading a mixed bag of reviews I thought I'd write review as you can only speak as you find. The work has just completed so can't speak about aftersales and any required follow up work, hopefully I never need to, but as for my experience with Dunraven to date they have been superb. I could not be happier with the product and the workmanship involved in the completion of my new roof. Right from placing the order, from the salesperson, to the surveyor, the fitters and the plasterers - all superb. Once they set the date for installation is was kept to and communication has been really very good. The standout person and who really deserves a mention is Sean Peters who was simply outstanding in pulling the whole job together from start to finish - his passion and desire to get the job done right and keeping me updated every step of the way was simply first class... so from my perspective I would have no hesitation in recommending Dunraven and would have no hesitation in using Dunraven again, indeed they have put themselves in pole position for future work based on their performance with my roof replacement - many thanks!
Warranty is FAKE no customer service Break things don't tidy up and don't complete job to a usable standard DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This was a conservatory order by the way.
It’s easy to be cynical with window and door companies. Some business models haven’t changed for years. My experience was positive. I needed a new front door. The approach wasn’t too “salesy”, measured up professionally, price was about right, fitter did a great job , good after sales service and communication at all stages. New front door looks and feels great and I’m very pleased with the overall outcome and experience. LJ - Undy.
Had a front and back door fitted in September. The initial visit to price was very good . The advisor gave some company background but focused more on the doors , budget and price. The communication throughout was good and the fitters were great. Worked quickly and professionally and cleaned up behind them . Apart from two fab new doors you wouldn't have known they had been there. All round great service. Will be back for some windows.
Do not give your contact details to this company. I made the mistake of asking fora quote. The rep turned up (in the flashiest car ever) 2 hours late. I asked if he could give an opinion about which windows needed to be changed and which repaired and he told me this would take to long. On the basis of this interaction (and the other awful reviews I've now read) when they called back to make another appointment I asked them not to call again. Since then they just keep calling me from different mobile numbers. I keep blocking and they keep calling. How is this an effective business model? If you like being hounded over the phone then this is the company for you.
We've had a poor experience from start to finish. A 'no obligation' visit for a quote turned out to be a standard pressurised sales call, with the standard discount offered if we take it on the day etc etc. The price offered was more than we wanted to pay but we were happy enough to do so for the sake of a decent job. We ended up ordering 2 doors, a window, a pane of glass, and 3 replacement handles. On the day of installation, they fitted both doors (one not brilliantly, and with a lot of mess) and the window. No handles turned up and for some reason they left me with an unfitted pane of glass to stub my toe on whenever I walk into that room. Despite the half finished job, they pressured me into signing the completion document, which is disgusting behaviour. Then, apart from a call from their sales department (actually asking for more business!!), they went on their merry way and left us with no further contact at all. I had to call and chase up several times to get a date for someone to come back and finish the job, and when he did come a few days back, no one had communicated to him at all. There were still no handles and he couldn't fit the glass by himself. He was at least good enough to get another appointment arranged for today and to offer us a refund for the missing handles, but today no one turned up and no one bothered to contact us to explain. We eventually found out that they'd had an issue with a previous job and we would have to book again. No offer at all from them to help us sort it out. I am being repeatedly disconnected when trying to call in to rearrange. Their website is dreadful, there is no visible complaints process that I've seen. I guess the next step will be to reach out to the bank and let them handle this. I've never experienced such awful aftercare. Save yourself some pain and use someone - anyone - else.
Ordered 2 LG window's and one for the bathroom when they were being put in we realised the window's open in ,so we stop the work ,only to be told we signed the contract even though it was not made clear to us that they open in, the company was no help at all and one of the window's rain is coming in ,told it would be 5 weeks before anyone could come to fix it ,so we told them if they don't come sooner we would reject them that got them ,so they are coming this week ,we need outher window's done but would not use Dunraven
*CONTINUED* 24. The sewer needs ridding and flushing out ever since they blocked it with rubble. 25. The re sited rain water down pipe fell off the wall. 26. Electrical cable cut off and left in the gutter. 27. I’ve had no electricity to the bathroom for the shaver light ever since they cut the wires. 28. The hole was left open to the manhole. 29. The ridge cap requires tightening down. 30. The slabs were delivered to my bungalow on the 6th of March 2020 which they never bothered to lay. Made my home feel like a building site. Complete eyesore. 31. There is a sucken area to the base of the steps because of the digger which they didn’t bother to rectify. 32. The gutter joints sealed together using tacky tape which they should of used silicone. No silicone was used. 33. On the 7th of June 2021 the Surveyor discovered the sewer line was blocked again. 35. Patio slabbed area will have to be re slabbed again. 36. I did end up falling over on the dangerous unfinished patio which ended up with me injuring my right hand and fingers. Words cannot describe how horrendous this firm is, they say they aim for “high quality standard” but I have had far from that. If this review reaches other people I strongly suggest you stay away from DUNRAVEN WINDOWS and run a mile. Please please do your research before getting anything done and don’t do the same mistake I’ve done and gone with this company. Bunch of cowboy builders who take advantage of people, once they take your money they are not willing to sort out their mistakes. I’m just horrified to see how many people this firm has ripped of people and done shoddy work. I feel a tad better to see other people have the same/similar problems to me.
Absolutely terrible after service have been trying to get our lead replaced for over a year as original is cracked so cheap and nasty considering the price we paid wouldn’t recommend them to anyone
We did not go with Dunraven for our new front door due to pressure sales techniques. The salesman gave us his ‘best’ price, having drawn a design on a notebook and tapped numbers in to a calculator for 30 seconds. As soon as I mentioned other quotes, he knocked 25% off the price he could not possibly beat. But of course, that price was only available if we signed there and then. No way we would deal with a company using these methods. I cannot comment on the quality of their product or workmanship.
We have had a dreadful experience with this company. The product is good the service is appalling. I had to phone the company to complain. I spoke to Nigel at Dunraven about my list of complaints Complaint 1: I have a very deep windowsill that I was told could be fitted with a plastic sill. When being fitted, the fitter said they didn't make them anymore. I asked what I should do about the large expanse of the old wooden window. The fitter told me that as I was painting radiators, I might as well paint the sill at the same time. He was completely unapologetic. Nigel explained they didn't make them anymore, they looked awful anyway. He agreed he wouldn't be happy with the service. Complaint 2: The fitters arrived to fit a window, they told me with no apology that it was cracked. They proceeded to take out the original window and replaced it with the cracked window which will have to be replaced again. Unbelievable use of time. When I spoke to Nigel he said glass cracks and shatters more easily these days. I asked why it wasn't checked before leaving the depot. He didn't answer. I asked if he would be happy with this service, he said he wouldn't. Complaint 3: The fitters arrived every day between 9.30 - 10. I understood that as they had a long day and traffic is unreliable. However all 4 days they were here they left between 12.30 - 2.30. They did a maximum of four and a half hours one work a day. When I bought this up with Nigel he said, didn't I want the workers to be fresh and rested. Well no. I wanted my windows fitted. Complaint 4: Every window inside and out were covered inside and out with enormous whit smears from a product they used, they were between 5 - 2 inches wide and deep. I asked Nigel if they would be cleaned before they left. I explained my husband and I were ill and were going on holiday and didn't want it to be spoiled by us being in pain. He spoke to the fitters asking them to clean them. Before they left one fitter sprayed a window once, leaving an enormous smear and left. My husband who has a fractured Clavicle and broken ribs and I have a back condition that means repetitive movements cause great pain. It took us five hours to clean the windows. The pain we were in was indescribable and because of this our holiday was restricted by what we could do. Complaint 5: The mess left behind was unbelievable. The drains, flowerpots, patio, lawn and pond were covered in bits of wall, dust, insulating balls, blue plastic straps, we even found a tool. My husband found a small shard of glass whilst playing with our young grandchildren, luckily they were unhurt. Complaint 6: A representative phoned me to ask about my experience with the company. When I told him, he agreed it was very disappointing but couldn't report it back as he's not in that department. What on earth was the point in him phoning? I emailed the company with problems I've had since I spoke to Nigel, 2 weeks ago. I have had no response. It goes without saying I will not be using Dunraven for my 4 exterior doors. I advise you not to use them at all.
We have recently had our windows changed. We can’t recommend Dunraven enough. The windows look great, were superbly fitted and manufactured for a quick turnaround. We would definitely come back to Dunraven for our next project.
When the salesman came to quote us a price, part of the "Dunraven deal" is that you don't pay any money until you sign a customer satisfaction form and are completely happy. The work took place nearly a year ago and I still have that form here, unsigned, and yet money has been taken so please don't fall for this complete lie. I had new windows fitted throughout the house. The bathroom window had a blind screwed into the new frame despite that fact that I hadn't asked for this. This means I have an expensive new window fitted with holes in it. We were also told that we were unable to have the top, small opening windows at all and had to have the windows that are on the sides and open fully. This has meant that due to me having a very young child in the house, during the summer I was unable to open any windows as it was too dangerous and I was terrified she would fall out. I have since found out that it would have been possible to have the type of windows we originally wanted so yet another lie from Dunraven. We also had old patio doors removed to open up the area going into the conservatory. The plastering done on this is appalling. I have contacted Dunraven on numerous occasions to discuss this shoddy job. A number of people from Dunraven have even been out to look on different occasions and agree that the plastering is dreadful and needs redoing YET no one has been to do this. Trying to get an answer from anyone is an absolute nightmare. They ting regularly to ask if I want further work done or a quote on another job but are far less committed to actually finishing the original work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I am extremely disappointed.
Very pleased with my Orangerie. Gareth plus a team of various, skilled, professionals worked diligently over a 3 week period to complete. Gareth visited regularly to ensure quality of build and check I was happy with progress. So far so very very good!
